There is a major issue with the drama. The VR game scenes are boring, and I feel sleepy whenever they appear on…
The VR game is not meant to be a major part of the drama. It’s just a plot device. It shows how the leads first met and how they go play the game to forget about their own lives for a short time. For example when the FL feels like things in her life aren’t going the way she wants she goes to play the VR game. She’s not necessarily looking for something thrilling, she’s looking for a means of escaping her everyday life. She’s trying to find something that can make her feel more successful.
It's not just Webtoon purists, there are ageist trolls going off-kilter over the casting.
The director made definite choices when he cast nearly 40 year olds for the main couple roles. A pregnant 40 ish FL hits different than a pregnant 25 year old. (biological clock…) I believe the characters were in their mid 20s in the webtoon.
I’m going to continue watching to see why the director and writer chose to make the many changes. I haven’t read the webtoon, but the choices about the age and professions of the main characters are interesting but also baffling to me. Why include alcohol consumption for a pregnant lead? Only 2 episodes have been released and I want to see where this story is headed. Maybe the reasons behind the choices will become clearer.
But were they actually happy in their marriage? On the surface they may have seemed happy, but when you examine…
Oh, I didn’t realize that you were only on episode 10. Keep watching. More details about their relationship will slowly be revealed.
I love that even secondary characters in this drama have so much depth. The writer slowly reveals meaningful background details that adds to their character development.
What is the use to put in a happy married couple to have them get divorced over lack of communication.. might…
But were they actually happy in their marriage? On the surface they may have seemed happy, but when you examine what was going on you realize that their happy marriage was just an illusion.
To me it looked like she put in all the effort into their marriage while he was preoccupied with his work and trying to start a new company. She didn’t seem to be a priority to him. He didn’t seem to be emotionally invested in their marriage. They weren’t communicating about important details in their lives. They were just going through the motions of being married.
Huh? I'm a lbl fan and I'm excited to watch another show starring the male lead.
People saying they can’t move on from LBL is not hating on this drama. It just means they won’t watch this drama the day it’s released.
Watching 3 Chen Xing Xu dramas in a row may be too much for some people. They may need to take a short break so they can more fully enjoy this drama later.
started really strong but the last episodes were quite cliched especially with the fire scenes. it’s quite easy…
It’s a standard trope for the ML to rescue the FL from physical danger but imo it was done well here.
One of the things I liked most about this drama is that the ML never looked down on the FL but instead gave her opportunities to excel at the things she wanted to do. I can overlook the fire rescue trope because of his attitude towards her all during the drama.
Chungjae reminds me of the sml character in Dynamite Kiss. Both have been friends with the FL for a long time but when a new guy shows up in her life they suddenly want to butt in where they’re not needed.
If they didn’t mention that this is an adaptation of a web novel would the comments and the ratings still be the same?
I appreciate that this drama seems to be a throwback to 2010 style rom-coms but the main theme of this drama seems outdated. As a society haven’t we moved on from the public perception of unplanned parenthood that was held 15 years ago?
Everything seems to be slightly off for this drama. It is listed as an adaptation but it only vaguely resembles the web novel. The situation of the FL being in the alcohol industry and her drinking in the first 4 or 5 weeks of pregnancy seem to be off. The humor seems to be a little off target too. Who decided it would be a good idea to release this drama in 2026?
Like you I’m not ready to move on quite yet... His new drama My Page in the 90s has a completely different vibe.…
We’re you able to watch Love on the Turquoise Land? Counting his upcoming drama Chen Xingxu has 3 successive dramas airing only a few days apart from one another. imo that’s too many of his dramas too close together.
I can usually move on to another drama pretty quickly but Love Between Lines is so special. The story, acting, main couple chemistry, cinematography, and even the music are excellent. I know that it’s going to be almost impossible to find another drama that is as satisfying as this drama was.
I'm sorry cxx....i can't watch the new drama...... I'm still stuck here....

His new drama My Page in the 90s has a completely different vibe. From the trailer it looks like it will rely heavily on visual humor. That type of comedy often makes me cringe.
People do realise there is a spoiler button for a reason? Please use it. This is the open comment section. If…
MDL etiquette for spoilers has been inadequate for quite some time. It’s usually read at your own risk. 🤔
MDL doesn’t have an episode specific comments section so people seem to freely post their thoughts and opinions on whatever episode they last watched. Also the comments here can be emotional or heated at times.
If you want to read more focused discussions about a drama but haven’t seen the latest episode the KDRAMA subreddit is usually pretty free of spoilers and they have episode specific posts.
Does anyone know the name of the screenwriter? This was so intelligently writen and well paced that I’d like to watch some other dramas by this same writer.
her one coworker is so annoying i wanna see him get the shit beat out of him same with that loser reporter
All of her fellow lawyers are jerks. Instead of supporting her when the articles came out they just gossiped about her and acted as if she did something wrong to them.
Also, I hope the prosecutor who bullied her in school loses his job and gets exposed for what a POS he is.
Xiao Zhiyu has become my favorite green flag ML. At the end of episode 28 he says this about Hu Xiu …
“She doesn’t need anyone’s approval to prove her worth and she doesn’t need anyone’s attention to give her meaning. She exists, she grows, and she becomes who she wants to be.”
