His personality is the opposite of the rich, outgoing and outspoken second female lead character. I think the screenwriter is going for the opposites attract trope. imo both the actor and the actress are playing their parts well.

If he moved on and minded his own business this drama would end before episode 4. This is an enemies to lovers trope romantic comedy. There has to be some sort of conflict to move the story along.
If you want reality then this drama isn’t for you. If you want main characters with absolutely no flaws then this drama isn’t for you. If you don’t enjoy some of the humor then maybe this romantic comedy isn’t for you. There are plenty of other shows and types of dramas for you to enjoy. Not even the person who hurt her. If Doha hurt her she should protect herself from being hurt further but she doesn’t have the right to hurt him back in retaliation.
Does she know the full story? Does she know his reason and motives why things happened the way that they did? Does she know if he’s hurting also?
Whatever happened doesn’t give her the right to hurt him back. Having two hurting people doesn’t make the situation any better. She can’t change what happened in the past by hurting him.
