Ooooh reeeally?? What are you listening to that's peaked your interest? Do tell! You're talking to a fanatic here, as in, someone who went to Japan *just* to see them in concert. :)

I mentioned Sam Cham before, but did you know Shinichiro Watanabe (director of SC and Cowboy Bebop) had a new anime out? It's called Kids on the Slope. I just devoured it like a stack of yummy pancakes.
It's funny, I'm so used to dedicating hour+ blocks of time to drama episodes that 25-minute anime episodes felt like nothing. It was almost by accident that I finished it as quickly as I did. I'm a lover of classic Jazz music (John Coltrane, Stan Getz, Miles Davis, etc), so the soundtrack was stellar! Plus, Yoko Kanno was in charge, and she's a genius. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there. I don't know how much of a fan you are of Watanabe, but since you like Sam Cham so much, thought I'd share. :) It was a beautifully done series, as I would expect of him.

YES! We will totes watch Arang together! Once eight episodes are up, I am diving in. *excited to gush* Hmm, I'm getting nervous. I think my expectations are too high for this drama. I usually don't even *like* historical dramas dude. We'll see... *full of doubt now*.... I need to find some sort of balance here. lol! Hopefully this will be the first historical drama I like!
OK, between you and educto giving me positive feedback on RP, I'm going to add it to my plan to watch list. I don't know when I'll watch it, but I'll do that much. I do like a good, crazy ass villain,so that much intrigues me. There's nothing better than a bad ass antagonist! It's like TOP in Iris! He strapped a dang BOMB to a CHILD and I *still* loved him! lol! He could have kicked a puppy and I would have been like: *shruuugs* "He's just so bad ass, the puppy probably deserved it!" haha! I'm terrible...

Haha! Don't feel pressured to write longer responses! I just want to make sure you are fine with my general long-winded comments. That's all. :)
Are you talking about Rooftop Prince? Naw, haven't seen it. I don't know if I'll watch it. Nisha was just telling me that she is watching it now and liking it. But I don't know. I had decided to skip that one (kind of like how I'm deciding to skip Big). Is it *that* good? It's gotten mixed reviews and I don't like that people compare it to Queen Inhyun.

"and the waiting will be killing me softly," hahaha! Well said! See! I don't want that to happen to me! :)
I'm the same way, always hoping that a drama will surprise me in the end. Unfortunately though, I'm usually wrong. And it ends exactly like I figure it will. But I think Ghost will be OK. *fighting*
Have you heard of the movie Only You? That's probably the most popular So Ji Sub work. If you want to see him in something just to get an idea of what he's like and without dedicating yourself to a drama, definitely go with that. It's a pretty good movie. Some typical stuff happens in it, but it's not bad. Something about his moody disposition is sexy to me, but I'm thinking that that isn't enough. Sadness.

Hey Farah! Just thought I'd pop by to say hello. How's your drama watching coming along? I noticed you're going to start Dr. Champ. That was a pleasant watch. Not a bad drama. :)

And I haven't started Arang yet! I need more episodes!! I can't start something I think I'll like with just two episodes uploaded. I'll go crazy! :) Once it hits eight eps, I'll dive in.

I agree. I wouldn't watch it again either. It's not worth my time.
Dang it! Now I'm feeling like I should have started watching Bridal Mask instead of Ghost! I was debating between the two. I don't want to watch two political suspense-type dramas at once.
Ghost started off REALLY strong. The first two episodes in particular were mind blowing dude. I mean, mouth gaped open, on the edge of my seat and everything. But now that I'm about 7 eps in, I hate to say it but I'm getting bored. I don't want to feel bored, but something is missing from So Ji Sub as the lead. I like him because he has this stoic, detached aura about him. But I want more from him. He's not funny or bad ass or bold or crazy... He's just kind of...there. Nothing about him jumps out at you. It's starting to bother me. But I'm going to stick with it because it's gotten such strong reviews. We'll see.

Cool cool. Yeah, I generally try to watch only one drama at a time. The only time I watch two is when I'm cracked out on one but it hasn't finished yet, so I start another one to satiate me. For example, when I was watching Queen Inhyun, I was pretty addicted to it but it hadn't finished yet. So I started watching K2H to pass the time. Ironically though, K2H ended up being the MUCH better drama! Haha! Do you usually watch multiple dramas at once? I feel like I'd be bad at keeping all the plot lines straight!
All the dramas on your currently watching list are ones I want to check out, though. But I need more episodes and both just started (aside from Gentleman). Plus I wasn't in the mood for romance. Ghost doesn't have much of that and I'm glad.
I feel like you say one sentence and then I respond with full-on paragraphs. lol! Sorry about that! I'm very chatty today, apparently. :)

Yeah, Ghost has been getting RAVE reviews. That's why I decided to try it. I was actually debating between starting Ghost or Bridal Mask. I decided on Ghost because it's finished and I don't think BM is done. But I can't watch two political thriller-ish dramas back-to-back. So I'll be ready for Arang once I finish Ghost. How are you liking it so far? Strong start?

Yah, I'd rather wait calmly and on *my* terms as opposed to waiting on someone else to upload subs. Ghost is finished. Something about So Ji Sub is very attractive and it draws me in. He's very stoic and detached but I like it. Usually I DON'T like those kind of guys, so it's weird.
Why'd you decide not to watch it?

Haha! Yah, I liked K2H but I don't know if I could watch it again from start to finish. It was very emotional.
I'm watching Ghost. It's really interesting and intense. I want to watch Arang and the Magistrate, but I need more than two episodes subbed. I don't want to hit a wall if I like it a lot. I have to wait a couple weeks.

Hey there! I'm always happy to hear from someone else who doesn't think Queen Ihyun is the best drama that ever existed, ever. :) I mean, it had it's really good points, but you're right, it didn't play out well at all. Plus the last two episodes were unnecessary. They should have ended it with episode 14. I would have liked it better.
Oh! I noticed you're watching Bridal Mask. How do you like it? Is it really political and heavy? I want to watch it, but I decided to watch Ghost instead for now.

hey there! You know, I've never really thought about it, but I guess I am a re-watcher. :) I think there's a certain nostalgia about re-watching dramas I really like. They bring back memories of whatever I was feeling at the time I originally watched them, so I guess I kinda like that.
I *have* watched K2H. It was amazing! Strong characters, interesting plot line, super well acted, nice mix of romance and political implications... I was very impressed. So since K2H is one of your favorites, would you re-watch it? Like on a rainy day a year from now when you're bored? :)

Rooftop Prince, eh? I decided to skip that one. After you finish, you'll have to tell me if it's *really* worth my time. I'm watching Ghost now. HOLY MOLY the first two episodes were, like, BLOW YOUR MIND. I'm talking on the edge of my seat, shocked at the plot twists and turns, mouth hanging open, all of that. But now I'm at episode seven and it's slowed down for me. It's impossible to keep that kind of pacing though. And if they did, I'd feel too stressed to watch it consistently. That's what happened with IRIS. It took me a month to watch that drama because each episode was so dang intense. hahaha!
Arang and the Magistrate is also airing now! It's the new Shin Min Ah drama! But there are only two episodes subbed so far, and I can't do that to myself. I am going to wait until there are at least eight up. I'm not ready to be crack addicted to another drama yet.

There you are! I was wondering where you'd disappeared to! :)
Ah, yes. I can imagine that changing universities is a messy business. Transferring credits and financial aid if you use that and which credits are equivalent to what courses. Sounds like a big pain. I hope everything works out! I'm sure it'll all be straightened out soon.
I finished Norwegian Wood tonight! *proud* I wanted to give up on that book a few times, but I'm glad I saw it through. It was a very interesting read. So I'll start CA soon. If I'd realized you felt more passionately about Bloody Jack, I would have picked that up instead! :(
Twice all the way through. The third time was in bits and pieces because I recommended it to a friend. :) But I'd watch it all the way through again! I've watched Kim Sam Soon three times all the way through! LOL! *a little crazy*
How exciting! Minho from Shinee!! Is he playing the role of Sano? I'm ridiculously biased from the Japanese manga (which I loved). Thus, the Japanese drama version didn't do much for me, and I didn't bother with the Taiwanese version. I'll give this a try though! *excited*
