My question is, WHY are all these people reviewing this when it's NOT FINISHED BROADCASTING yet!? WTF!? lol! How can you judge something when you don't even know how it ends? I got confused thinking the drama was over. *shaking head*

I really like that they don't focus much on the age difference between Tae Kang and Ji An in I Do I Do. So many things about that drama go against the grain of typical plot formulas and cliches. It's SO refreshing.

So KSS is art imitating life for you, eh? I'm glad you can relate to it so well. I personally haven't had that experience, but even so, I could understand the characters feelings in their situation. That's what makes it so great!

I love is in KSS when the tables turn and Ji Hun is chasing after Sam Soon and she ignores his phone calls and such. It's like, YES!! VENGEANCE! Hahaha! I eat up that kind of stuff!!

Oh! And along with the fight scene, wasn't the bedroom scene so surprising? That moment where he talked about the car accident and cried COMPLETELY caught me off guard. But I loved the impact it had on me as a viewer. And you could see how Sam Soon's feelings changed.

I sincerely wish I'd done like you and dropped it once it started going south. But I kept hoping it'd get better or surprise me. No such luck. :)

I started watching this drama and really liked it, but I can't find it streaming anywhere past episode five. So…
Thanks so much!!

Hahaha! Her ex is a CRAZY bastard!!! But I agree, yes, he is physically attractive. Not a bad looking guy at all. But dude is BANANAS. lol! Did you laugh so hard at the fight at the hotel? I re-watched that scene so many times. The look on Ji-Hun's face when Sam Soon bit her ex was priceless!!

And their age difference is only three years! He's 27 and she's 30. I don't think that's bad at all. It's better than I Do I Do, where I think Ji An is supposed to be 37 and Tae Kang is 27. Something like that. But I felt like they made a bigger deal out of Sam Soon's and Ji Hun's age difference than needed.

I enjoyed it overall. It's a melodrama, you know? So it's got A LOT of emotional twists and turns. And it was a little different from most dramas I watch, particularly with the lead character being an ex-con. And other aspects of the drama surprised me (I won't say what). :) But I was in the mood for something different when I watched it. So I was satisfied. Plus, it was very well acted. I gave it an "8" apparently. :)

Specifically, and funny you'd mention it, I'm understanding Hyun Bin's character more the third time around (yes, third, lol!). You're on episode 10 I think.

By that time, you can see he's starting to realize that he misses Sam Soon and is so used to her just being around that her sudden departure is jarring for him. But when I put myself in his shoes, I'm sure he's scared to death of this feeling. Things are finally going well with Hee Jin after waiting three years for her, and now he finds himself missing this crazy, wild horse of a woman. haha! So he ends up leaning on the excuse of needing her for work, because he doesn't know how to handle the situation otherwise.

Anyway, this is my somewhat baseless opinion on Ji Hun. :) He is a character where his actions speak louder than his words, because a lot of times he won't explain himself. But you can read him by the things he does.

You don't know how glad I am that you're enjoying KSS!! Yay! I'm two for two with you! \(^o^)/

You are too funny! I remember the DJ, but I didn't pay much attention to whatever he was saying! lol! So lame! And isn't her dancing hilarious? Kim Sun Ah really put her soul into this character! After watching this drama, I didn't think I could ever see Sun Ah as any other character. But she proved me wrong. And I'm right with you in being able to identify with her. She just seems so real and down to earth. I can understand her rationale for things very well.

And yes! I still stand by my views of this drama. I love it now just as much as I did when I first watched it. In fact, watching it again made me appreciate and understand more things about it.

Haha! But it's OK, because I like that you give me a thorough breakdown of your opinion. :) I liked the drama as well for the most part. Like you said, the premise of it was good (three strong women and their love lives), but it did fall flat during some moments. Especially the end. I remember thinking the end was kind of rushed and lame. Another case of a drama tripping and falling at the finish line. But I had fun watching it overall.

And Kim Bum is adorable! This was my first drama watching him as well. But then I watched Padam Padam, and he did a very good job in that drama. His character was much more complex, so he could show off some of his acting chops. ^_^

Haha! I agree with you 100%! :) Also, I am not allowed to use the word "totally" anymore today. Sheesh.

I saw you completed The Woman Who Still Wants to Marry. What did you think about that one?

And he even spoke about how she made him laugh and stirred his emotions. I?ve personally had an experience where at first, physically, I didn?t find a guy attractive. But his personality and ethics totally got under my skin, even when I didn?t want them to. And I looked up and started liking him. So that is something quite natural, and I could understand clearly why Ji Hun would fall for her and brassy and passionate nature. PLUS, she is almost the spitting image of his mother! So there?s that parallel in his life as well.

But like I always say, agree to disagree! It had been a while since I last watched the drama, and I recently re-watched it after recommending it to a friend. I wanted to make sure I still felt the same way about it, and I totally stand by my views. :)

I can totally appreciate your point of view. Everyone's idea of romance differs! But for me, even the story line of Kim Sam Soon isn't *my* personal idea of a perfect romance. I wouldn't want my real-life love story to play out like that at all! haha!

I'm not going to try and defend every point that you made, because I am a firm believer in respecting and accepting other people's opinions. :) It's totally OK with me that you disliked the drama.

I want to speak to one point though. Because someone else mentioned that they couldn't see why Ji Hun liked Sam Soon. For me it was easy to see. Where you see her as weak, I see her as being very strong, passionate and bold. She was someone who never took any of his sh*t and I think that alone made her attractive to him, especially being a man like Ji Hun where women are practically falling at his feet.

I totally understand why they do as well. I liked the drama overall myself. But I'm not going to ignore its flaws just because it's romantic and the making out is epic. haha! I just get frustrated that people seem so blind to the bad aspects of the drama. They should accept the good and the bad. Not ignore it.

You're the second person to say that about my Sam Soon review! I just love a lot of things about that drama and feel that it's well written and the characters are very realistic and bold. May I ask what you hated about it? I'm just curious. :)

Thanks Farah! It was one of those dramas that I should have dropped, but I kept hoping it'd turn around and at least end properly.... Nope. :)

I appreciated your review of Queen Inhyun's Man. Kudos for being one of the few people to rate it below a 10!

Thanks lady! I friggin love that quote!....>.>.... I have totally been re-watching Sam Soon, too. I can't help myself!!! Poor Royal Family has gotten the major boot. Meh. I'll finish it at some point. It's *that* kind of drama. Where you can pick it up at any given time when you're bored. It's not sucking me in at all. But it's not bad.

I found my Koishite Akuma e-mails! Hahaha! Turns out they weren't rants, but more so just mocking the drama. Yeah, when you're bored one day, totally watch it. :)

And you're right about Juri Ueno. That's not an easy role to play, and she does it beautifully!

I'm contemplating taking a very short drama hiatus after finishing I Do I Do. I don't know what I want to watch next anyway. Big? Bridal Mask? Lee Tae Ri? Dunno. Gotta think about it for a bit.

And, and! If I Do I Do manages to end successfully, Nodame is totally getting bumped from my favorite list. SO SAD! T_T

Thanks lady! I think highly of your reviews so I feel a bit honored when you compliment mine! And I'm glad to hear your feedback. Writing a review that makes someone think twice about their opinion of a drama isn't easy, so I'm glad I could achieve that! SUCCESS! ^_^ If you ever garner the strength to give it another go, I hope you can see it through my eyes.

Isn't the dad hilarious!? He's all squinty-faced, loud and fussing all the time! haha! You can see where Ji An gets her take no sh*t persona!

I like Juri Ueno, but I haven't seen her in anything other than Nodame. I tried watching Sunao Ni Narenakute but hated it, so ah well.

Dude, Koishite Akuma is hilarious. I sent a whole e-mail rant about it to my friend at the time I watched it. I should go dig it up for my own amusement. I watched it marathon-style in one day because I was stuck inside due to a blizzard. I can't even lie, it was the perfect drama for that occasion! It's so awkward!
