This drama is SO BAD that it's kind of worth watching!! Everybody should watch and see how bad it is because it's…
Hahaha! DO IT!! :)

Yah, you are going to love I Do I Do. :)
And that scene in the tunnel is hilarious, right?? I love it when he asks, "why do you even have an umbrella??" And she tells him without batting an eye that it's because she knew she'd need it for that moment! haha!
And well, Kim Sun Ah is a very valid actress to bump someone off your list. After K2H, I had a slight urge to add Ha Ji Won. I got to a point while watching that drama where I said to myself, "Well if Jae Ha isn't going to marry her, I freakin' will!" Who *wouldn't* want to be married to a BAMF!? I'm getting off topic here, but I often think about that part in K2H where she tells Jae Ha that if he gives in to the Club M dude's demands, she'll bite off her tongue! I laughed so hard at that! Damn, see what happens when you marry a bad ass?? You have to worry about the bad guy, AND your wife bad-assedly committing suicide! LOL!

And I also really like her monologue earlier in that episode when she watched her bastard ex at his engagement party. Where she talks about the calories of love and compares the calories in a cup of coffee being equivalent to five minutes of kissing. Such a poignant moment for her character. Sigh. Good episode overall.
Episode seven is good too. Hilarious and also heartbreaking.

Nisha! It's only going to get worse!!! Well, if you're anything like me (and we already agreed that we can both be cold-hearted bastards), your irritation with Hee Jin is only going to get worse. :)
I had the same reaction to you as the "I feel nothing," statement. I thought to myself, what a cold thing to declare to this man! I don't know, it was just another, "what a freakin' b*tch!?" moment. She's just SO SELFISH! Argh.
But I do like episode six because of the yummy kiss scene. hee hee (*^_^*) I love that you can hear the rain outside and Ji Heon playing the piano, and the shots of the wine bottle and glasses. It's all very chic and sexy. And of course, I love that Sam Soon just effing went for it. I like that she wouldn't close her eyes because it's like "fool me once" you know? But you could totally see her thinking, "ah, what the hell?" and kissed him. Love her!

Dude. DO NOT get me started on I Do I Do or Kim Sun Ah. I just adore her and think she's so amazing! I mean, her range as an actress is so impressive. I've seen her in three dramas and she's genuinely played three completely different characters.
And I Do I Do is just... Ahhh I don't even know where to start! It's just so mature, intelligent and well-written, and the characters so interesting, complex and lovable. And as a young woman, I can really identify with the Ji An character. I want to add it to my favorite list so badly, but I'm crossing my fingers and waiting for the last two episodes. It's been so great up until now, so we're all nervous that it'll fall victim to typical Korean drama cliches and will end poorly. But I am keeping the faith! Writers, don't let me down!!
See, this is why I said don't get me started. haha! I am way too passionate about this drama right now. :)

I know! I sincerely hope this isn't one of those dramas that trips and falls at the finish line. But I have hope that it'll be well written all the way through. I mean, I haven't been disappointed in 14 episodes, so I think it'll be fine.

Dude, I love Kim Sun Ah as well. She's so amazing. You're right about Jung Woo, but I give him credit because he's showing some good range with his character. I didn't care for him at first, but I've grown to adore him as well and I think that's noteworthy. He just makes me smile whenever he's on the screen. And yah, two episodes left!! :)

No problemo! Thanks for the request!
I noticed you're also watching I Do I Do. How are you liking it? It started off slow, but I am essentially in love with it. I think it gets better with each episode and the writing is so modern and smart.... If you hate it, this might get awkward. Haha! :)

Haha! Sometimes the drama list is stupid. Why does it need to update my profile with "completed" when I only changed my rating of the drama (from a 6 to a 7)? I felt a 6 was a bit harsh in retrospect. I mean, it *was* very well acted, and funny, after all. Even though I wouldn't find Hyun Bin's character in that drama attractive in a ba-million years. Yeah, that's right, a ba-million. :)
And I'm happy that you're at least feeling passionate about Sam Soon. You're right! That means it's getting under your skin.... Just as I planned. *insert evil maniacal laughter*

The whole bucket list thing has been done to death.... no pun intended. But overall I thought the drama was nicely done. I liked the doctor, too. He was awkward and pretty cruel at first, but he grew a lot throughout the drama.
My only gripe about the drama (aside from all the crying) was the Ji Wook character. Dude had the personality of a toothpick. -__- Sometimes when I'm watching a drama, I think to myself, "would I want to date this man in real life?" And with him, I thought no because he's so dang boring. Really! Aside from being handsome and rich, what other qualities did he have?....>.>... Well, on second thought, maybe that's enough. Never mind. LOL!

I agree with you 100%! What I found more absurd about her behavior in that episode was that she had the audacity to call Sam Soon out for coffee and essentially demand that she break up with Jin Heon! B*tch! You disappeared for THREE YEARS without a phone call, text, e-mail, letter by pigeon carrier, whatever. Then you show up and bust up someone else's relationship as if THEY are the ones who did wrong!? Who the f*ck do you think you are!?!?
This girl thinks she has something owed to her and I could never sympathize with her character. Especially when she has someone like freakin' Daniel Henny longing for her. Eff you! I don't feel sorry for you! She's so spoiled and self-centered and I have no empathy for people like that.
I re-watched the episode to refresh myself and I got all mad! LOL! Sorry for the angry post. But be warned, you're going to get angrier. lol!

Oh! Last thing. I also appreciate that they used an actor and actress that legitimately speak English! I always cringe when people try to speak English in dramas. Especially if they supposedly "lived in the U.S." or some other native English culture, and their pronunciation is crap. But I was impressed that Hee Jin actually spoke English like a native. Woo Hoo! :)

Well, I think the story in I Do I Do is still moving along quite nicely, eh? Episode 13 was very cute and I loved the way 14 ended. I almost teared up along with Tae Kang. :) What a touching moment. I can't believe there are only two episodes of this drama left.
Is it just me, or do you also feel a little sad? I could watch a lot more of this drama. I could even watch them raise the baby together and their every day struggles. :).... not that that makes me sound like a total creep.... haha!

Oh! And the movie theater scene is super funny, right? I think the moment that slayed me was in the first episode or so, when he accused her of urinating on his back. LOL! I just thought that was the craziest and evil thing to accuse someone of! Who would repeat that if it really *did* happen!?!? LOL!!! And that she tried to call the dry cleaners the next day to figure out if he was telling the truth or not made it even funnier. smh

Public Service Announcement: Daniel Henny is NOT a good actor!! lol!
I greatly dislike the Hee Jin character as well. She comes across as the type of girl who thinks, "Well, I'm really pretty so everything should go my way." She makes no apologies for her approach to things and that bothered me greatly. But I DO appreciate that she isn't the typical back-stabby b*tch. She has her issues. The more I think about Sam Soon, I can see parallels of it in I Do I Do. It's like a more progressed version of Sam Soon as far as the writing!
The thing about Sam Soon is that she's SO DANG FUNNY and strong! Not only strong/pugnacious, but also in her conviction to love. She's an admirable character for me as a woman and I also really liked her monologues about love and life.
I think that kind of fire and passion is so rare in Korean drama heroines. :)

I'm right there with you! Especially during the dinner scene when she was hesitating to tell him. I swear I was crouched down in my seat repeating, "tell him tell him tell him!" And when she finally did, it's as if this huge burden was lifted from my shoulders and I let out a big sigh of relief! And I liked his reaction, too! It was so honest and natural. I mean, in real life, anyone'd be pissed at first. But then you'd have to come around because of the circumstances, and he did! All in the same episode! They didn't unreasonably draw out the argument and awkwardness for the sake of creating drama. Gosh I love this series! Everything you want as a logical sequence happens, but it's still not predictable at all.
And NO! I don't want the airport scene!! LOL! Or Japan, or the car accident! Now *I'll* be silently praying that I don't see those cliches! hahaha!

I know, right?? I didn't know he'd had some kind of surgery on his face after this drama, but apparently he did. I noticed that he looked SO different in Secret Garden. I don't know what he did but he looked better before. :(
