Honestly, even with 7 episodes - Lovely Runner is a very engaging drama with everything going right for it. But why it will not surpass is not because of the story, acting and production - but because the star power/fame/popularity/related hype is less than QoT and tVN is not marketing it as much it did QoT.
Sad, bitter truth - but I really hope Lovely Runner finishes well. At least the MDL ratings so far are being honest.

These two are such talented artists - the range these guys bring - the tears and heartache, the comedic relief, the fear in their eyes and everything in between. In awe everytime - even though I have been watching them both since their cameo/support role era

2008 case was not an abduction, that taxi guy was never caught, cause no one sees him - neither Sun Jae, neither the police officer. But he sees Sun Jae. Also 2008, old Im Sol is back and she has no memory, so she cannot share why she was at the reservoir or if someone abducted her. The case was closed a mystery.
Then the taxi driver tried abducting her again in 2009 - and that is where Sun Jae again helps her, and catches the taxi driver dude. OR maybe someone else. But here old Im Sol is so disturbed as she frequently lost her memories - that she blocks this again along with Sun Jae.
But taxi guy if caught in 2009, is out again and is coming after them both. Sun Jae more as he remembers that he is the one who thwarted his plans twice. And hence wanted to kill him.
In case he is not caught either in 2008 or 2009 - this is a cold case, which is what the police is trying to solve. And the guy therefore was still trying to kill Sun Jae.

Ooo I like the Tae Sung intervention and help in reuniting these lovers - by helping them time travel. Perhaps the taxi driver or the stalker girl will cause an issue to Sun Jae, making Sol want to travel back.
Which is where Tae Sung will fulfil his SML duties, and right the wrong of the past - and help her time travel.
Seeing that new watch in Sun Jae's house, is making me think this too. Since the old watch (G-Shock) one is gone, could this be his time turner device?
Tbh, still I cannot find any logic on why he should be time travelling - but you never know. It is dramaland. Just hope so much of time travelling does not make it like a hotchpotch drama like the script of Hero that Sun Jae was reading. 😂😂😂

He is probably the one who killed Sun Jae in the past probably by sneaking in his apartment.
2. Definitely clear now - Sun Jae did not take his own life. I really hope not after all this.
3. What is that whole angle of Im Sol's mom calling the accident 14 years ago but it was actually 15 years ago? We are 2023, and the incident was in 2008 so that is clearly 15 years. So WAEEE? Is some mystery still unresolved?
Edit: 2008 case was closed as a mystery. Why? Cause neither Sun Jae, not detective see him - and old Im Sol is back and has no memory of abduction. But basis her dream, maybe taxi driver attempted to abduct her again in 2009 - kind of like finishing his unfinished business. But again his plans are thwarted by Sun Jae, somehow. But this is the old Im Sol - and so she is disturbed with all these memories that she does not know of and therefore ends up blocking this abduction and Sun Jae.
But the taxi driver remembers - either he was caught in 2009 and in jail, or he somehow escaped and someone else was caught. Either ways he waited and now wanted to take revenge on Sun Jae - and probably both in past and now, he is the one who killed/tried to kill him. Since Sun Jae hampered his serial killing by saving Im Sol all the time. DAMN PSYCHO!
4. Loved how her bestie and brother did come together - the kids are so cute! And of course her pregnancy/child birth seen had to be this hilarious. I love them both, though they have less screentime.
5. Lee Il-Jun's character just like in True Beauty is misinterpreting things and guiding the ML wrong. Hilarious!!
6. The police guy seems really nice - and I guess he is the one who will solve the serial killing case in past and future. The one whose car comes in between Sol and the taxi driver in 2008. The one who also wanted to verify at the police station when Im Sol came to give a forewarning.
Could he also be a time traveler? I am getting very Signal vibes here. It would be so cool if they do a cross-over of it, and the police dude actually has a walkie-talkie. OMGGGGG!!!
Totally can see it happening after-all, the drama has a lot of cross-overs, latest one being the script of "HERO" - a mermaid, alien, North Korean character, zombie apocalypse. The only thing they missed out was Goblin, Grim Reaper here 😂😂😂

I'm like woman do you have any idea what you are saying and doing to poor Sun Jae?? Can't wait for tomorrow's episode - to witness all the cute antics (I saw that sofa maneuver and then the push-against-wall/door and close proximity! Eeeeeeeppppp! Can't. Stop. Giggling.
8. But what was that watch that Sun Jae is looking at when he comes home? Was that the time capsule? Not sure. And the earlier G-Shock watch is gone - what can that mean? Does she not have the need to go back again ever? I don't think so, which is why she will desperately look for it maybe. Or has this new watch replaced it? Seems highly unlikely - but many were saying that Sun Jae is also time travelling. Can this new watch be his time travelling device.

10. Who is saying these lines in the preview: "Okay, lets say the fate has changed. But who is to say the new life is better than the old life?" I can't place this voice as any character we know or is it? Also - what does it mean. I mean I know there are still going to be hurdles in their lives, but I really hope there is an happy ending at the end.
11. What really was in that time capsule? And what happened there? Was it really just destroyed? I hope not. Maybe in the end Sun Jae will share that he got the stuff out and which is why he was there at the bridge, cause he kept coming all the time - hoping she would come.
12. Does grandma remember her being wheelchair bound? Or is it just a coincidence? Too serious to be a coincidence. What if this knowledge about time travels made her suffer from dementia? An butterfly effect of all the good things that happened to Im Sol?
13. What was that dream she had - a premonition? Where she is running around, glass is breaking and another time Sun Jae is rescuing her?
P.S. How many of us were hoping that Sun Jae was going to undress and join someone in the bath tub. It seemed like it would be a woman, but then I was really hoping for some steamy scenes. Of course, to look respectfully! Unlike Im Sol - I would not pause, take a screenshot and zoom in - pfft, not me :P
Who knew a day would come where I would eagerly await Mondays!
