I think it's time to move passed the whole "girlboss" and "strong FL" notion who decided a kind, feminine, loving girl or an emotional girl isn't and is considered "weak"? And time we accept negative FL traits as negative not smth positive. I wouldn't wanna meet someone like her in rl and yes, in fiction this is great bc it leaves a lot of room to explore her but in the same breath we shouldn't hate on rude, problematic MLs (who deceased bc nowadays every Girlboss needs a bland ML) it leads to a double standard and they ain't different.

I like it except for the ML who doesn’t fit but honestly speaking it's weird how cold/rude MLs get bashed nowadays but when a Female Lead acts the same or even MORE (he'd be done if he were to bash **** victims) out of line in a different font, she's girlboss, badass or gets called a strong FL. This isn't adding up for me.

Everything you said, Im surpised ppl are praising it so much. Sure it had good ideas but it reduced everyone to helping a mc that doesn’t even come off as a couple.

Moreso than in other versions were they all just there as the main couples Cheerleaders. They even cut Kavin's background

Deadass loved them but could've easily been written out and wouldn't have changed anything. They also wasted Kavin as a whole.

Chinese, Thai could've but wasted it's potentia, Korean had the best 2nd Sidecouple

Damn F4Thai had a lot of potential but really wasted it. Thyme and Gyora didn’t seem like a couple, you blink and miss Kavin and Kaning's scenes (even BOF had a better conclusion and overall better Kavin treatment), could've been just F1, the rest are cheerleaders and they made Ren shine too much.

Plus I'm bitter they cut the snowstorm/beach scene and the 2nd couple fake date ...

Yess exactly they wasted so many opportunities and made the couple .. not seem like a couple. The whole snowstorm scene was essential bc it showed how far the ML is willing to go for the one he loves instead they played Ren's game up. At times I questioned wether he's the ML here instead of Tyme

Nah, Shincai was just as strong F4's is violent, rude and loud. Doesn't make her stronger than the rest and given how they erased her skill that made her special it's doubtful. I really wish we'd appreciate all types of female characters not just "girlboss"

Idk why but this version remains superior F4Thailand really wasted it's potential. In this version Dao Ming Shi is cute, Shincai isn't shouting all the time, the main couple has a romantic relationship, Ximen is more developed, his romance with Xiao You is good and Lei isn't annoying. He came off as a brother instead of putting her on a spot and shining all the TIME
