Title Fights Break Sphere Spoiler
Don’t recommend anyone to watch this. The ending is as open-ended as they come. There is no closure to the main story or the main character and you just think it’s the end of an episode only to realize it’s the end of the drama. They’re NEVER going to make a season 2, just like they’ll never make a Princess Agents season 2 or Dulou Continent season 2. Never. So unless you like the feeling of incompleteness I don’t recommend you start this drama.

Can’t believe it’s NOVEMBER 2023. Why?!? And they changed the name, and it sounds a bit odd to me. I think Forbidden Love fits the story better.

Cdramas need to learn to do better endings. I just don’t get it. SOMEONE please give the writers and the directors a clue on how to do a good ending. It doesn’t have to be happy, it doesn’t have to be sad, it just needs to make logical sense with the plot and characters, not be cringe or tacky, or rushed. Please.

I am disappointed with the ending. In the last two epis, they make some unnecessary complications. ML's mom who…
I agree but I also understand. His father just died and his world probably crumbled. He had such a great relationship with him. He couldn’t go back to school and he who he was as of his world didn’t just end. He probably wanted to leave everything and try to heal. I’m sure he knew it wasn’t her fault for lying to him but in that situation he probably needed someone to blame and hurt.

Ask he is still also a minor technically, in high school so of course he can’t just live by himself, he has to live with his mom, his closest living guardian by law.

I do find it odd for him to suddenly confess his love after 4 years of silence. Think they could have made the ending more realistic and just hopeful instead of a kiss scene.

I think there’s a twist at the end… maybe😳 If it’s what I think it is then I think this is some good writing. I’ve been watching it for CZY’s acting. He’s so EXTRA in this drama, so hilarious 😂

So you mean, the reason DFQC was back was due to the seal being restrored?
Not completely. He’s immortal so his primordial spirit would have regathered due to the Bone Orchid but she called him back through the seal so he came back to her and maybe quicker. That was my take on it.

It's the same pronunciation as the common phrase in Chinese "地心引力" (Earth gravity)
Ah! I see! Both explanations make sense! Thanks!

because they're gravitated toward each other like gravity also they're attracted to one another
😅 So I guess it’s that obvious to everyone!

Why would they do such a thing? They should be proud someone from China became so internationally known. It's…
They say the government doesn’t want any single person getting so much fame and money. They also don’t care too much about whether a celebrity or anyone gets international fame, they don’t think it’s necessary for anyone in China to get Western “approval.” This is just what I have read, heard and been told by Chinese people. I obvious don’t know what the government’s true intent is. But given the types of people they have targeted in the last year or two they just kind of fall into this pattern, and the scandals seem to come out of nowhere. Let’s all just hope that Didi stays safe. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

If the producers are smart they should. Esther and Didi pairing is such bank! And they have proven to have amazing…
Ek. I’m not a vampire drama fan. Hopefully they change it a bit. Besides, I don’t know if vampires will pass the Chinese censor rules

After rewatching Love Between Fairy and Devil (for like a millionth time), I noticed that XLH finally falls in…
I don’t know if she fell in love with him but she definitely liked him, and was concerned for him. I think she sort of recognized that she may really like him in Ep 13 right after she saved him and is pacing at Arbiter Hall and asks why she saved him and against ChangHeng. She asks herself “do I… no no no he’s the Moon Supreme” and talks herself out of it. Then in Ep 15 when DFQC says he could spot her among a thousand orchids she cries and says she’s happy because he is so important to her. Also at the end of Ep 15, when DFQC asks her to remove the hair pin and she refuses and he asks you didn’t mind me reading your feelings before what’s different between then and now, she hesitates and can’t answer. I think it is at this point she realizes that she may actually be falling in love with him and therefore doesn’t want him to know. So for me, it’s Ep 15 although the slow natural process started much earlier in Shuiyintian.

I just realized, after rewatching LBFAD 3x, that though the main story might not be the most unique, but the heart…
I agree, to me the best eps were eps 16-19, DFQC’s story arc. You get so much depth into the amount of pressure and expectation he has as Moon Supreme, how much of it was thrust on him without his choice, and how much personal sacrifices he has made and yet everyone saw him as either a scary villain or a cold and fearful ruler. Only XLH was able to empathize with his suffering, his pain and sacrifice. The way she cried and nearly fainted from pain and heartache for HIM when she read the ancient script on what someone has to go thru to remove their 7 feelings and how far she was willing to go to cure him. And for his part, that he was willing to go through the pain again but this time to recover his feelings so he can be a true human being, to learn to feel other people’s feelings and base his decisions on something more than his duty and obligation but his own feelings too. I mean, as romantic as that scene was when he had flower petals rain down for XLH and took off his ring to feel her joy, it’s actually really sad bc that’s the only way he could feel, to borrow someone else’s feelings. All of these things speak more for how we fell for these two and their love for each other. Those scenes that were not just about them but about who they are as a person, their relationships with others and who they want to be actually made their love story so much more real and deeper than any silly accidental kiss or some weird first love obsession that we commonly see in dramas. I know some people watched this drama and liked it somewhat and is thinking what’s the hype, it’s good but why? I think it’s this type of detail and depth that we can all relate to, understand, and empathize with and seeing it play out against the backdrop of a beautiful set and story and executed so carefully is what many people love about CLJ.
