In the Special Clip, the producer said in this world where love plays the center role, there is no deceit or deceiving. I think this resonated in that there were no lying or backstabbing love interests. I loved that about the drama. It was so nice to just see two people’s love develop from beginning to end in a mature way.

LLTG was so slow and annoying for me. The story just didn’t seem to progress. Now there’s a drama that should’ve ended at 36 episodes. I never finished it and don’t really desire to.

Yes~ 😂 I know with censorship we can’t realky see it but I always wanted them to sleep with each other in Ep 28 when they were arguing that she wanted to go to Fuju Cave. They way they looked at each other during the argument was so 🔥🔥🔥. 😂

In his time with XLH he never did tell her how he felt about her. I think she understood but he never spoke them. When they kissed after the mortal realm, he asked her why she helped him and she was going to confess “because I like you” and he kissed hee before she said it fully but she was ready to say it first. Although he was going to propose to her, she is the one who beat him to it and proposed. He never did ask her or verbally say yes because his brother interrupted them. I have no doubt that XLH knew he loved her. But after how he treated her in Eps 30 and 31 and not having ever actually verbalized his love for her I think he felt a lot of regret and pain from that regret. It’s like never saying I love you to someone and them dying. So for him to pour his heart out and for her to actually hear him say it as Xiyun… it really broke my heart and was so bittersweet. That and also that she herself was trying to pretend to not know DFQC in order to save him from more pain. And the silent goodbye kiss when he learns it is her. That episode was all just so bittersweet. So I just love it.

Aside from the first 16 minutes, I think Ep 35 is one of my favorite episodes….. I was thinking about what he said on the bridge….

My favorite is the Ep 35 kiss. Like damn, no words or nothing. He came, kissed, she cried. He left.

Right? I don’t think I’ve ever said “hey this C drama could use more episodes.” Never. Until this one. 😂 Now I’m like, just one more please!!
