After rewatching Love Between Fairy and Devil (for like a millionth time), I noticed that XLH finally falls in…
I don’t know if she fell in love with him but she definitely liked him, and was concerned for him. I think she sort of recognized that she may really like him in Ep 13 right after she saved him and is pacing at Arbiter Hall and asks why she saved him and against ChangHeng. She asks herself “do I… no no no he’s the Moon Supreme” and talks herself out of it. Then in Ep 15 when DFQC says he could spot her among a thousand orchids she cries and says she’s happy because he is so important to her. Also at the end of Ep 15, when DFQC asks her to remove the hair pin and she refuses and he asks you didn’t mind me reading your feelings before what’s different between then and now, she hesitates and can’t answer. I think it is at this point she realizes that she may actually be falling in love with him and therefore doesn’t want him to know. So for me, it’s Ep 15 although the slow natural process started much earlier in Shuiyintian.

I just realized, after rewatching LBFAD 3x, that though the main story might not be the most unique, but the heart…
I agree, to me the best eps were eps 16-19, DFQC’s story arc. You get so much depth into the amount of pressure and expectation he has as Moon Supreme, how much of it was thrust on him without his choice, and how much personal sacrifices he has made and yet everyone saw him as either a scary villain or a cold and fearful ruler. Only XLH was able to empathize with his suffering, his pain and sacrifice. The way she cried and nearly fainted from pain and heartache for HIM when she read the ancient script on what someone has to go thru to remove their 7 feelings and how far she was willing to go to cure him. And for his part, that he was willing to go through the pain again but this time to recover his feelings so he can be a true human being, to learn to feel other people’s feelings and base his decisions on something more than his duty and obligation but his own feelings too. I mean, as romantic as that scene was when he had flower petals rain down for XLH and took off his ring to feel her joy, it’s actually really sad bc that’s the only way he could feel, to borrow someone else’s feelings. All of these things speak more for how we fell for these two and their love for each other. Those scenes that were not just about them but about who they are as a person, their relationships with others and who they want to be actually made their love story so much more real and deeper than any silly accidental kiss or some weird first love obsession that we commonly see in dramas. I know some people watched this drama and liked it somewhat and is thinking what’s the hype, it’s good but why? I think it’s this type of detail and depth that we can all relate to, understand, and empathize with and seeing it play out against the backdrop of a beautiful set and story and executed so carefully is what many people love about CLJ.

Wow!! This edit is SO GOOD! They managed to pull all the dialogues and put them in such great order and scenes! And the additional clips of the little Prince from the Long Ballad as their troublemaker son is too cute! How the son got DFQC in trouble at the end 🤣 But at least XLH forgave him~

It’s like the biggest event of the year or something lol.
This is definitely the biggest deal for a Cdrama I have seen in a very very long time.

I really need someone to stitch together all the adorable BTS, variety show appearances and interview interactions…
Tik tok has good ones with subs and good quality, short but effective for stitching just fyi

OMG our obssesion paid off guys I knew being awake on a Saturday morning after the live stream meant something…
If the producers are smart they should. Esther and Didi pairing is such bank! And they have proven to have amazing chemistry. So it can only be a win for them to cast Didi and Esther together again. Guess it will just be a question of whether there is a good script and their respective schedules.

Thanks for sharing! I couldn't stop laughing 🤣 The only thing keeping her sane is Didi's handsomeness lmao🤣…
Right? When she said the only thing she could think of was drowning and Wang Heidi’s handsome famous in front of her I was floored 🤣🤣

Extra episode, about 2 minutes long, basically a re-assembly of clips of moments when DFQC and XLH are together,…
I couldn’t find it, where did you see it? I have IQIYI VIP and it didn’t show

Just started and not sure I can take the pouty, ‘baby’ voice of the FL for 36 episodes - seriously, can we…
Well I guess you don’t have to watch it then. It’s her natural voice. It’s like saying why does this person have to be so skinny or fat or short haired or long haired. It’s also cultural. Never see anyone complaining about Japanese women who speak 8 octaves higher than the average woman so why is it all of a sudden a problem with this one character in a Cdrama. If you’re trying to make a statement about women and culture then ok go ahead but if it’s about the drama, it’s easy. Just don’t watch it, nothing to complain to the group about.

And sorry, it’s not you but it’s just an accumulation of people who are complaining about her voice like she can do something about it. I am not meaning to pick on you so I apologize. Just getting tired of comments About her voice I guess.

I really liked her in the Untamed and Ever Night. But then I saw her in Wonderland 2 and her real personality which was a bit of a turn off. I was so surprised how different she was from her characters. I mean, I guess that’s good acting then. I think she picks good dramas so I don’t think I’ll mind watching her. Just really surprised by her personality.

Person Dylan Wang
With the international fans and how popular he has gotten, I hope he doesn’t get targeted. I know the government doesn’t like any one celebrity becoming too popular, especially internationally. I hope they don’t make up some crazy story and scandal. From what I can tell from his various variety shows he seems like a good-natured and easy-going guy. He is polite, positive, loves his family and has had a modest but well-mannered upbringing. He works hard, tries hard and is smart enough to recognize his shortcomings. I like that and he seems like a good person to support and watch grow and develop into a great actor. I hope nobody tries to cut that short for him and allow him to reach success in peace. 🙏🏻🧧🍀

THEY'RE GONNA RELEASE TWO EPILOGUES!!!!
They haven’t shot anything new so it must be a compilation or some scenes they previously shot and didn’t use.
