Just finished watching Military Prosecutor Doberman. What a sht writer. I can’t believe I wanted time watching that mess. The story was all over the place, the ML and the FL never came off as comptent or smart (despite the dramatic music and all), and the cases were never concluded in satisfaction. As a viewer, I think if you’re going to spend 3 episodes to build up a case about abuse and injustice then you should have a really satisfying court case and resolution. It’s like what was all the build up for if you’re not going to do a proper resolution. What a terrible writer. And he doesn’t even seem to know how trials actually work. It’s like he looked it up on Google and just went with it. Never watching his work again. Ugh.
This was the worst show. I really tried to like it for the main actors but the writer was SO SHITTY. They kept building up these horrific scenarios and as a viewer you’d think the prosecutors will resolve them to provide some sort of justice. But no, each case was resolved in mediocrity bc the writer focused too much on the ML and FL’s revenge story which itself was resolved without much satisfaction. The writing was just all over the place, and it was so infuriating watching one case after another get handled like sht. The ML and the FL were the worst prosecutors I’ve ever seen in a show. They were so incompetent and emotional and just blind. How do you go into a case and get surprised because the defense objects to the authenticity of evidence? Like that’s trial 101, to authenticate your evidence. And it was supposed to be a shocking move by the defense??? Who wrote this? Definitely someone who read a Wikipedia summary of trial proceedings and not anyone who is actually a good writer.
Also, the episode on military abuse and the mass shooting. They built up so much about how much abuse the poor soldier who went crazy from it and they didn’t even allege temporary insanity or self-defense. Sure they’re prosecutors and not defense but they just let it all go and the abusers got away with everything. Like, where is the satisfaction in that as a viewer? I feel so angry watching this bull shit writing. I swear I’m never going to watch another thing by this writer.
Oh yeah, and they cast Ahn Bo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah who have pretty great acting chops and they relegated them to some stupid cliche lines about revenge. Talk about wasted talent. If you’re looking for a good story with riveting courtroom scenes and smart twist, this drama is NOT it. Skip it and save your time. I’m so annoyed I watched till the end.
How does Yoonah keep getting roles?? Who is backing her? She is such a terrible actress. You’d think she’d improve but over the years her acting hasn’t improved at all. What’s worse is even the most talented male casted opposite her can’t save her acting and the drama ends up being a bomb. I really like ABH so I’m just loathe to see him acting with someone who can’t act to save her life. Why?? I think Yoonah is cute and all in variety shows and she’s funny but she just can’t act. She just doesn’t have the talent so I wish they’d just stop casting her opposite my favorite actors and ruining those dramas/movies.
Just heard his live performance with Hebe Tien and HOLY this guy can sing!! At first I thought it couldn’t be him because he sounded so amazing and live singing at that! Wow. I love his versatile acting but didn’t know he could sing so well. What a talent!!
I hate Korean dramas on Disney+. They never release them in the US. Why does Disney+ suck so bad? Can someone explain? And why do Koreans keep pushing good dramas on Disney+ where NO ONE can watch them. Maybe they just hate the US which would be quite ironic
They have such amazing chemistry~ it’s such a cute and funny drama. Their behind the scenes are great too, they seem to get along really well! Normally don’t watch drama while it’s still airing but couldn’t wait on this one!
I like that in this drama it’s the ML who has had a crush on the FL all through school. Both the main and second couple actually. The ML and FL relationship developed well and neither had much toxicity or miscommunication issues so it was a fun and light watch.

This is a pretty highly anticipated drama with millions in reserve. Since the scandal happened in November, and knowing the Chinese government, I feel like IQIYI may have had a contingent plan just in case. As a business, it would have been pretty reckless of them to not make a backup plan to recoup the investments. With so many investors invested in this drama and so many reservations, they would lose more money by not airing it versus spending the money to take out the 3ML. They can make back this money if they air it, if they cancel it they will never make back any money and lose all money to the investors. So given that IQIYI hasn't taken it down on their website yet, they may be looking at the numbers and figuring out their next steps so I wouldn't write it off completely yet. It would be a different story if the scandal involved the main leads but it doesn't so I think they may have an out - although it will likely take longer to air now.

Spoken like someone not living in Communist China. Everyone working in the industry know the rules, especially after so many regs came out last year that basically said STFU if you want to continue to live and work in the industry. The 3ML should have known his comments may cause significant detriment to his fellow actors, cast, crew, and everyone else who put a lot of time, effort, and money into this drama. If he wants to exercise "democracy" in China, then he can leave the industry and become an activist. China is not the U.S. (although, much to be said about "free speech" in the U.S. these days) and people know the rules if they live there. He chose not to follow them.

Which site matters bc it determines whether it can be watched by most viewers. Some viewers don’t get access to Disney+ or other similar sites and rely on Viki or Netflix or bigger sites like that. So if it’s not available in a mainstream streaming site many fans won’t be able to watch it.
Every old drama I watch she is there as a small support role or extra. Was rewatching School 2013 and there she was! One of the students! She has worked so so hard in this industry. Never giving up, starting with small roles until earning those main roles. She is a phenomenal actress and I really respect her. I don’t know why she took such a long break but I hope she comes back soon. I wish her all the best!
