The first body swap lasts about 5 minutes and the final body swap lasts about 2 eps and that’s it. Nothing in this drama is dragged out. The story is executed quite precisely with logic and none of the usual cliches that ruin a drama.

I’m not suggesting anything about their relationship but body specialist always say that when people are very touchy with each other it’s generally because there is a level of physical attraction. Idk if they have gf/bf but it does seem like they have physical attraction and chemistry to each other (at least while filming) and some built up sexual tension. I guess that’s why their chemistry onscreen is so good. I mean they’re both young and attractive so I’m sure it’s not uncommon for actors and actresses to get absorbed in their roles. Again, I’m not suggesting that they date or are in love or anything like that, just an observation of their behavior.

I think Qao Yao from Legends is a good FL. So was ChangGe from The Long Ballad. And Jin Long created an entire universe of what we now commonly accept as the “wuxia” universe so most characters are derivatives of what was created. But I think in recent times other authors have attempted to create a new universe with more unique characters such as the Untamed - beautiful world and character creations there (although no main female there) and I think this drama LBFAD also creates a unique world and characters. Jin Long ‘s world was so vast and amazing that I guess it’s just hard to top a master.

With the success of LBFAD, I hope he gets a lot better and quality dramas and movies. I think he has shown his acting abilities through this drama. Hope he gets really good projects going forward. 🍀⭐️

If you like him then you should watch Maiden Holmes where he plays the ML. Another well-made drama and he is super charismatic there. Maybe you’ve already watched it. I became his fan after I watched that one. I like ZLH but I don’t think his charisma outshines DFQC in this drama.

I think prob bc they both seem to have the same energy and sense of humor. That’s probably what he meant by it. Or he was being sarcastic. Lol

My fave is 18. That episode did a lot to explain DFQC, and also the decision involving wanting to open up and love, and his future decision about the type of person/ruler/brother he wants to be, and what sacrifices he should make and are worth making. It also gives rational background to all his future decision making and it’s not him being just swayed by love for Orchid. As for Orchid, it showed her the vulnerable DFQC and how much love and protection he needs, why he became who he became and her desire to protect him. In the past flashback with CH she said everyone deserves to be protected, even if they are strong. This episode shows that and it could have been the opening Orchid needed to see to start to love and care for DFQC.

Really? What was lltg’s rating? I agree. I stopped at Ep 32. It dragged too much for me. Maybe one day I’ll restart but only after I rewatch this one a few more times :)

I’m obsessed with coming back here and reading the posts. 😱 I need to stop 😂 But you know a drama is amazing when you have people writing essays about the characters and the details in the story and theorizing about the ending. 😂👏🏻👍🏼❤️

Remember back in Ep 5 or 6, he does feel her fear (when she had that nightmare) and commented that he hadn’t felt that feeling (fear) in a long time and snickered? He also mentioned that being the strongest one doesn’t need to feel fear. So I don’t think it’s that he doesn’t feel it, I think fear is one of the feelings he has learned to overcome strongly and likely doesn’t impact him as much. It also doesn’t externalize like crying (with tears) which flows but he doesn’t necessarily react to being internally sad whenever she cries, he just gets annoyed bc he is showing tears. So I don’t think that he doesn’t feel her fear, it just doesn’t bother him as much bc in his mind he is the strongest in the 3 realms.

😂😂 Don’t you just love their chaotic energy? I would LOVE to see them as hosts/regulars of a variety show. Or at least let’s have another drama with them.
