So far I’ve rewatched all the episodes! But yes~ 8 and 9 are great! But absolutely love 15 and 17,18! Oh and 21-22 are so funny! Minus the psycho person bit. This drama is so great, I’ll be sad when it ends. I wish it were still on a daily schedule but alas

I guess this project isn’t going to happen? It would have been interesting to see Seven and Dylan in a drama together

I like her as Orchid in Love between Fairy and Devil. She’s doing a great job. She transitions well from being super cutesy to serious. I know people were criticizing her in the role but I’m not sure why. I think that’s how the role is written. Anyway, I’m enjoying her and the drama. And her chemistry with the ML is great.

He is killing it as Dong Fang Qing Cang. Great acting, especially in Ep 18! 👏🏻⭐️ Amazing work.

Does anyone know how this drama is doing in terms of ratings in China? I hope it’s doing well, I just finished Ep 20 and so far I’m really enjoying this drama. The storytelling is well thought out and executed. Also the acting is great (Ep 18 was fantastic for our ML) and they both have great chemistry.

Hey stalker, go rewatch the eps. He didn’t use a fake Tiger tally. He gave up the only Hou family item he has to save SS. The Hou family Tiger tally. Are you actually watching these or skipping through the actual story? Figures. Should lower my expectations for people like you.

Wow, all this anger over some drama comments. Why don’t you chill. And go back and rewatch it, who has time for someone like you. You’d even spend the time to look up my drama preferences. You’re so creepy. And as I said before I am talking about the drama characters, not real people. You’re so psycho. Guess my fault for thinking I’m engaging with an intelligent and rational person. Wow.

Yeah I know she will in Ep 38 but it just annoys me that she is acting like this. She was so smart in part 1, why is she regressing in part 2??

I agree. I liked SS in part 1. But in part 2, all her smarts seem to have gone out the window. I get that LBY put her in this position but in Ep 28 she agreed with the marriage. So she can’t fall back on that anymore. Also, she is openly hiding things from him. If she would only share her thoughts he can better explain the whole picture. Instead she does the exact thing she accuses him of doing - not trusting him and not discussing things with him. At least he owns up to these faults but she never does. Sometimes the problem is not the other person but you.

How about eps 26 and 33? You watch those? Or Ep 37-38? Why do you think LBY gets punished?

How do you watch so many episodes and still be so completely biased for SS and miss all the story details? First, if she hated so much she could cancel the betrothal. But she didn’t. She lied to him about helping the CP. She was dumb enough to be used by the Crown Princess. She still didn’t tellLBY what she did or what she was going to do hence putting him in a position of possible treason for using the Hou Tiger tally and lying to the emperor. And she still was only blaming LBY. And let’s not judge her by today’s 16 year old standards. Women back then at 16 got married and ran households. She is being stubborn and ignorant . She needs to improve big time.

And I was talking strictly about the drama. Check yourself. The F is up with all these personal attacks and sht.

The Crown Prince is weak and doesn’t fit to be emperor. Worst, he doesn’t know his faults are flaws that an emperor shouldn’t have. Zisheng and others already warned him so many times but nothing like incompetence and stubbornness to dig your own grave.

I think LYN refused the role. Lusi talked about it during the Live webcast. So it’s possible if they both agree.

NN is really starting to annoy me. She doesn’t get the she is naive and hasn’t had training pass anymore. LBY has been pouring his heart and soul into her and she’s just so arrogant and uncaring about him. She didn’t grow up in the palace so she couldn’t possibly know as much as LBY who has spent a lifetime there. It’s not about her smarts - she needs to get over that complex - it’s that he can’t explain and entire lifetime of palace intrigue to her. She should just trust him but she acts like she is such a smart problem solver and ends up leaving the cleanup to LBY. If you can’t handle the mess you create then don’t make it.

I’m starting to feel that it may be well-deserved for LBY to choose his revenge over her and leave her. I mean who wouldn’t with someone so ungrateful and callous. I just don’t buy that she has any feelings for him and then when she starts comparing him to that weak Lou Yao…. I watched the next few trailers and it just makes me really annoyed with her. I think he needs to leave her so she can finally understand what a great man she had and how she so neglected and mistreated him. I mean, he even deceived the emperor for her! LBY would never do that and yet he did it. Sold out years of trust built with the emperor all to save NN from her own stupidity. She is so damn annoying now. I am looking forward to their breakup. I hope she suffers more than him.

And no this is not a spoiler so let’s not even go there. If you don’t know this basic premise about the story that is plastered everywhere then it’s on you.

So, guess we’re heading straight into Part 2? That’s great.

Oh wow, thank you for that! I went back and watched the post credit ending thanks to your comment! Still not satisfied because I feel it was unfair but I’ll take what I can get.

I loved the movie but the ending bothered me so much. Why does the law always seem to favor the bullies?? It just seems unfair. WTF. And what exactly happens to them. Ugh. Just made me angry. Four years for her seems WAY to high. All her efforts for the college exam and a bright future just went down the tube. All because of that bully. She deserved to die. I disagree that all lives are precious. They’re not. If you harm others and make them suffer you deserve a worst punishment than them. That girl deserved a worst death. And the police officers acting like they’re so big and mighty upholding justice, where were they and where was the law when the bullying killed the first girl, when the bullying led to so much misery for others? Trying to put these innocent kids in jail for doing a job they couldn’t do. WTH. I particularly hated that police woman. Hope hee unborn child gets bullied so she understands how the victims feel. The bullies all seemed to go along with their lives completely unaffected. I wish the ending felt more fair and just. I’m just mad about it.

But props to Jackson Yee and Zhou Dongyu. For Jackson Yee to hold his own against a seasoned actress like ZDY… that was great. Like I said, I loved the movie, just didn’t love the ending.

It would be nice if we could see him in a rom-com, especially paired with Zhao Lusi. It’ll be fun to see him do comedy - break up his cold image a bit - and with Zhao Lusi I think it’ll be hit

I wonder what is going on with WYB. Haven’t heard much about the release of his new dramas or movies. Kind of miss him on Day Day Up. At least then I could see him weekly.

Just finished this and I have to admit, this is a well-made drama. The acting, the directing and writing were all solid. I also like that the story was mature and realistic. No toxic, backstabbing, misunderstanding type nonsense. Just a simple sweet story about a relationship from beginning to “end” (but not really and end because we all know they continue on happily ever after).
