Nope, not true. https://dramapanda.com/2018/08/zhao-li-yings-response-to-pregnancy.htmlShe's too good at lying,…
I think ZLY is a good actress. That’s all I need to know. Also, I personally think it’s rude to bring a child into all these rumors and gossip. That’s pretty low. I don’t know what your knowledge of actual facts and law is but as a norm it is incredibly difficult get full custody of a child. It’s not a matter of “fight to the death” but a matter of law unless you can prove the parent is unsafe and harmful to the child. Most parents opt to share custody and not put their kids through the mental trauma of a custody fight. That’s called being good parents who love and care about their child. FSF and ZLY came out and said they wanted an amicable divorce. Which means, no mud-slinging fight. You can have your opinions but it’s another thing to spread rumors about people and their family, even if they’re celebrities. And yes, despite what you might believe unless you are FSF or ZLY anything not coming straight from them are ALL unsubstantiated rumors. So have some human decency and stop spreading it.
You seem bias. I’m sure you’re one of those annoying kluencheewit fan whos obsessed with nadech lmao. Nadech…
LOL! Well, I think your responses read more fangirl than mine. I see that you are a big fan of Nadech. Well, to each their own. I’m not living my life unable to accept other people’s opinions so I think the loss is all yours.
He was really good in I Remember You. I don’t agree at all that he lacks charisma, but we have different opinions…
From what I know, for companies it’s both “hwa jae sung” which means how popular/trending or talked about the drama and the actor is and also the ratings. Ideally big hits like Goblin hot both but there have been dramas where the ratings are low but they hit the talked about category. Also, both HSKS and Shpping King Louis were big in Korea. As was 38 Task Force which was barely heard of overseas. SIG even won an award for Louis and you know they don’t give those things out in Korea unless the show was popular. I personally like SIG’s acting and he is well respected for it so he may be one of those actors that last because of his acting.
It’s interesting, I think most people either loved this drama or found it boring. The plot and the dialogue weren’t well written. Even the actors said they struggled with the dialogue because it was just unnatural - like not written in a way normal people talk. I watched it somewhat bored the first time around but stuck around because the acting was great. Then I watched it again to give it a more attentive viewing and I have to say the second time was better. I understood the plot and the storyline much better - it’s so much clearer and the dialogue holds much more meaning the second time around when you know what’s happening. Of course, that just shows the writing was weak. But again, I think the SIG and PBY really pulled it off.
I personally found the second love story a bit distracting and it took away from the main story. Also, why was the aunt and her husband Kevin who didn’t speak a word of Korean included? They were really just unnecessary characters I thought. Especially Kevin. All the Korean speaking foreigners in the entertainment industry and they picked one guy who couldn’t act or could speak Korean? Why? Was he an investor to the drama? His role was just completely pointless. Anyway, that’s my small rant about this drama. I really like SIG and PBY’a chemistry though. They carried the day.
He was really good in I Remember You. I don’t agree at all that he lacks charisma, but we have different opinions…
Yeah, I have to disagree with SIG. The amount of success he brought tvN when it was just a fledgling cable channel with mega hits like Reply 1997 and High School King of Saavy, and KBS (they used to even nickname him as the “Son of KBS” because he did so well for them). Most of his hits were mega hits, not just decent hits. So yeah, DAYS didn’t pull in the tv ratings but you can’t just rely on tv ratings any more. Most people stream content. And also, I think he is allowed one mediocre rating drama. All the success he has had before? I think he’s allowed. I mean you look at actors like Gong Yoo or even So Ji Sub (anyone remember Ghost? Exactly), or even Ji Chang Wook (compared to Seo In Guk he hasn’t had the type of success SIG has had and speaking as Ji Chang Wook’s fan). SIG gets offers because they recognize his acting talent. If it were just a pretty face they know it won’t last. But most Korean audiences agree that SIG can act, so it’ll just be a matter of time before he gets a good script and takes that to another level.
Unpopular opinion: this guy, Song Kang, Rowoon are just some of the actors whose dramas they headlined tanked…
I respect your opinion. I like Rowoon but I have to agree about his acting although you can see he tries. I think people consider him handsome. Song Kang is really popular with the Netflix executives for some reason I think. I don’t think he has done any non-Netflix dramas at all, or maybe they’re so not popular that I haven’t noticed them. I did like him in Sweet Home but I think it wasn’t just him but the overall series that was good.
I do have to disagree about SIG. He is pretty great actor. He is also very widely well recognized as a talented actor and many other well know actors want to act with him. He chooses diverse roles and experiments with different types of dramas so you’re not going to get the type of ratings you would with a classic romcom. And almost all of his dramas were mega-hits except for The Smile Has Left Your Eyes and DAYS. But TSHLYEs was a critical success and it was much talked about. It was also pretty successful, just when you compare to how huge of hits Shopaholic Louis, 38 Task Force, King of High School Saavy and Reply 1997 were, it may not seem “successful”.
As for DAYS, I read on Naver that although it didn’t get High TV ratings it regularly ranked #1 for internet hot topic/trending. So, given how most people stream these days they think it was actually a pretty successful drama. And seeing how many internationals fans have watched it and it’s ratings on VIKI, I have to agree.
I totally get it though. We each have our own way of seeing these things so I appreciate your opinion.
I like his character in Master's Sun. The 1st time i saw him in it and become a fan. 😉
OMG! Me too!! It’s rarely talked about but I loved him as Kang Woo! He was great! And honestly, that was my first with SIG as well and then I went back and watched Reply 1997 because his presence in Master’s Sun just blew me away.
I’m so thrilled he is going to be in another drama soon. It’s such a shame that a talented actor like him had to sit out for 3 years. I hope he gets many more roles, and I’m also super excited about his new movie “Wolf Hunt.” The movie starts shooting this month. He will be reunited with TSHLYE’s co-star Jung So Min. I liked DAYS and loved his chemistry with PBY but his chemistry with Jung So Min was so TOPS that I just have to root for these two. I’m just super happy to see him be active so we can watch more of his brillance on screen.
I'm confused because the writer for this drama is also writing Smoking Gun which is also supposed to star Seo…
I read on Naver that “Smoking Gun” is still in the casting phase and SIG is not actually confirmed for the role. So it makes sense that he move on in the meantime.
Your bias is evident from the remark, “it’s not like Mark and Kimmie where it’s natural.”
Ummm maybe bc everyone in Thailand knows Mark and Kimmie have been dating forever? Even the local cab driver knew about Mark and Kimmie. So yeah, not a koojin but dating naturally. And I’m not saying Yaya needs to be on screen with Mark, just others. She is a young actress with talent, she could benefit from having different acting partners.
You seem bias. I’m sure you’re one of those annoying kluencheewit fan whos obsessed with nadech lmao. Nadech…
So much for respecting other’s personal opinion. Well shit. It sounds like you’re a bit too much of a fangirl. I wonder how many lakorns you’ve seen. Yaya is young. I think it would be nice to see her act with other ML and grow. And as for the comment about Mark and Kimmie everyone in Thailand knows they’re dating and have been openly doing so for like 10 years, so yeah it’s a bit different than a koojin.
I rediscovered this drama just now and got in the mood to give it another chance, and then I read your comment…
I’m sorry I discouraged you from watching this. It is one of Push’s best dramas I think (he looks SO fine in it too). I do like the actress and I wish I could say my mind changed about the FL over time.... but it hasn’t so.... but I did like their other lakorn together where she plays a completely different FL.
After watching Doom at Your Service and Reply 1997 where Seo In Guk's character is more of a "cold" and "bad boy…
My thoughts exactly. I avoided this drama because I thought it’d be too cheesy or he’d act like one of those annoying cute drama boys but NO. SIG played Louis to perfection. He was SO ADORABLE and SO PUPPY DOG CUTE that really fit his character. He was so funny and so “Louis” that I couldn’t believe it’s the same guy who played Kim Moo Young in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. Now I know why this drama was such a huge hit when it came out. SIG proved he is a phenomenal actor just thru this role as Louis. So blown away. He seems like a super talented actor who just sings really well and not a singer who got into acting. Who would’ve thought!! Oh, and I think he physically looks his best as Louis. Hot.
Just finished this and it IS good! I wasn’t sure about a cute SIG because I’ve seen him in so many serious roles but OMG can he play CUTE AND ADORABLE!! He is never annoying, never overly sugary, he is just “perfect!” So well done. I am so glad I got to see this side of his acting. Louis was so so so well played, so well done. I can’t believe I waited until now to watch this. SIG just makes this drama!
