Remember when Chun Chang joins Shen Yi Yang's club to get closer to him? At first I thought it was some sort of camping or stargazing club, but I was wrong. Does anyone know what kind of club it was or if it was even a club? I'm kind of confused about how Chun Chang wound up at the camp ground with all of Yi Yang's friends.
This is one of those dramas I watched at the right time in life, and it really hit me in the feels. Now, that was decades ago and this drama is still near and dear to my heart. It's my favorite Taiwanese drama, and I still listen to the OST regularly. I tried to give the remakes a chance, but they didn't handle certain elements well.
He was a memorable supporting character in “Only for Love.” But, I am thoroughly impressed with his ability…
The emotion he's able to convey with just his eyes/face is impressive. Especially since he doesn't have a ton of roles under his belt. This is what I call raw talent. I can't wait for Sweetest Rebellion to start airing.
Just started this last night, and knocked out three episodes. For some reason, maybe because of the title, I thought this drama would be fluffy and frivolous. And while I'm sure there will be fluff, this drama is more heart-wrenching than I anticipated!! It's legitimately heavy and tackling some serious topics.
This is my first Daniel Zhou drama, and I must say: his portrayal of Li Wu when he first comes from the village is almost haunting. He's so soft-spoken and unsure of every step he takes, and even though he's tall, he completely shrinks in on himself because he's afraid of taking up too much space and inconveniencing anyone. My heart aches for him and I'm angry on his behalf. I hate how many cultures (including my own) weaponize the concept of family.
Michelle Chen is also doing an amazing job as a woman trying to navigate grief, and stand on her own while taking on a massive responsibility. I'm very pleasantly surprised by this drama. Can't wait to watch more!
When are they gonna give this dude a main lead role? T . T He's good looking and he's got the acting chops. I don't understand.
The only time the Chinese entertainment industry has given him a chance was Perfect Match, and I don't even know if I would count that since it focused on different couples.
I think you should make your comment a spoiler, so others who are watching won’t see it.
