An ok watch- neither good nor bad. Unlike other viewers I think the last few episodes were the most interesting to me whereas the start was ok and the middle a snooze fest. I really was disappointed in how much they dragged out the storyline - would have been better with only 10-12 episodes because there was.so.much.filler.
I also thought the acting was so cringe in certain parts, esp the comedy scenes, neither leads were too good at it. Dramatic scenes were much better and probably held the show together. The writing was meh and nothing thought provoking given the subject matter the writer had to work with. The leads were cute together but I didn't feel any strong chemistry.
I did skip through a lot of the drama halfway through because either a) nothing was happening or b) the same subplot was being recycled for the 100th time. I blame most of the show's weakness on the writing and the inability to add something fresh or even just moderately interesting to the show.
Overall- if you give this a miss you don't miss anything, but if you watch it you won't hate it either.

Given the raving reviews, I thought this would be better. At ep 7 I'm putting it on hold since it's actually a little boring. The acting is great and the cast is good together...however something about the story seems off. I really didn't care for the singing, I wish it was more focused on Mok Ha and her life back into civilization, more about plot of the evil father.
Agree with someone below where I didn't care at all for Ran Joo's plot line. I wish this is had gone in a different direction. 2023 was the year of (mostly) really bland dramas.
Pretty good movie for what it was. I actually really enjoyed without having watched the anime or having any idea prior to the movie about the series. It's definitely worth the watch if you are looking for something light yet entertaining (trigger warning for abuse though).
A lot of wasted potential here imo. Without having read the webtoon/manhwa (?) this was based on- this felt like a let down. They had this amazing concept of a character who has lived multiple lives and experienced so many things, but they instead focused on a tired business takeover story. It would have been so much more interesting if they looked at her past lives per episode and tied it to her present life instead of the 2 mins clips we got per episode.
I don't highly recommend this, if you don't watch it you won't miss much, but if you do watch it you will enjoy Hye Sun's acting.
This is such a fun and interesting drama. It comes off as a comedy but there's a lot of substance underneath the surface. It touches on subjects that are often never brought up in dramas. There are lines that really make you think, and even a few that make you tear up.
The bromance of the two leads is simply amazing, you really felt like they were such great partners (an enemy to partners if you will). Both the mls have their own strengths and are equally balanced. The side characters are lovely too, you just end up loving the whole cast.
The only weakness I would say is the last episode which I felt a little too dramatic, but is easily forgiven by the over all vibe of the show.
Man, I tried scrolling but there are just too many comments on this page. Can someone tell me if this has a happy ending or not , do the main couple end up together?
Dropped this on ep 6. Whilst the fight scenes were great, the script and storyline were really weak. The first…
So you have taken out two of the most important guys in the villain's organisation and despite showing 5 minutes before how well the grandfather would understand his thinking, they just sit back and relax. Despite the constant "this isn't going to end till one of us dies" lines being repeated? So in ep 6 everyone just gets gruesomely murdered and for what? It just felt like a cheap shot to pull at the audiences heart strings.
And like the main guys get through on pure brawns zero brains. It's fun to watch that in a movie but in a drama, where this leads to no character development the fun of the fight scenes sizzle out really fast.
Dropped this on ep 6. Whilst the fight scenes were great, the script and storyline were really weak. The first 3 episodes were almost a yawn to watch apart from the fight scenes and the next 3 you could see the cheap shots the writer was going to pull to make the audiences feel something (because the script really isn't going to- it's so dull).
The way the characters were written, apart form the two main guys, were just so dumb. I kept watching it hoping it would get better but halfway through ep 6 I saw the writing on the wall and just stopped. It's all brawns, no brains and very little heart.
Only the actions scenes are directed and choreographed well.
Adorable but a little messy. There are just too many episodes and the tonal shift towards the end was awkwardly written in. Felt like the writer wanted to throw in a last minute message that didn't really match the rest of the drama.
The cuteness of the kid and the chemistry between the CP is good although the director did tooooo many of the almost-kisses so it got annoying. I think their previous drama together was better, although both actually have improved acting in this. Esp the FL was written better in this compared to Once We Get Married.
Overall - just an ok watch. It's your typical C-drama with good leads but weak story and script.
I have to say I enjoyed this quite a bit. Woo Bin's acting was great and for me he really pulled this show through.
Whilst not totally an original concept, the plot and story could still stand on its own if it wasn't for the fact that it was so freaking short. It should have at least been 10 eps long. IMO they didn't have enough time to explore the characters, pro and antagonistic. It felt like it was over before it began and that left me feeling like Sa Wol was the most pointless main character in the show. You could literally have the show without his character and it would basically be the same. That's not to say anything about the actor playing him but rather the length of the series makes his character more or less pointless. And the villain could have been good but ended being a cartoon bad guy because there was no time given to explore his side.
Overall though - still a good watch, well acted, some loopholes but you can ignore those and easily enjoy this series.
Tried to love it as so many here do but by ep 27 I really felt like the story had completed itself and more than that would just be angst that is not required. I did like the part of the story she went to collect the soul shards and the comedy is decent. But personally I couldn't feel any chemistry between the leads and the second couple ML needs a couple more acting lessons before he can be good.
I did like the relationship between the sisters though- that was my favourite part of the show.
The sports scenes are a little disappointing to me. I was expecting more than just a few cuts of Wu Lei hitting…
I do think that the discussions were decent, some even very well written and acted. I just think it ended up taking over what was essentially a sports/romance drama. I guess I had a the same feeling with run on where I just couldn't get into the way the drama was presented- despite the fact that I often do love script heavy dramas.
Dropped at ep 19. Sorry Leo- I tried. Not the best noona romance, couldn't really feel the chemistry from the FL. I think she just couldn't match ML's energy/acting. I don't know what it was that I just couldn't feel in this drama - it just felt like 19 eps in nothing much is happening. Even sports wise, which normally I ffwd through I was like c'mon can we see some progress in his tennis??
The characters are all likeable and the start was decent enough but it just seems to be going no where. I think this could have been better if it had less episodes so we didn't waste so much time on so many side stories eg the boss.
Maybe because this drama relies on conversations a lot - they do a lot of telling as opposed to showing- which ended up making me disengage with the characters and plot. I hope Leo's next work has a tighter script/plot.
ummmmm..... the whole time I was watching this I had a wtf expression on my face. It was one of those this is so bad it becomes good dramas purely cause you are in disbelief watching it.
