One of my favorite scenes from the bts has officially been added to the episode. The uncut version of the date…
i really wish youku had put all of these little bits in for the original episodes (i would've liked to die even more while watching for the first time). however, tbh, i'm soooo glad they're releasing them now, after VIP airing is finished. that's why none of us can get down from this mountain -- because youku is forcibly tying us down with these special episodes and behind the scenes.
I don't know if anyone realized, but starting from episode 20 onwards, ZZS and WKX are playing each other's role…
that's my favorite part about the ending fight scene. it's not just a direct re-enactment of the fight scene on the boat, but that ZZS was the one doing the chasing -- their actions now mirrored each other's.
i've been DYING for this scene because there was a close up photo for the forehead touch but no vid before. omg. it looks so tender. and WKX really did hug ZZS for a while.
I’ve read some posts saying both GJ and ZZH thought that WOH will have a sad ending which is why ZZH had a hard…
in that call sheet, there were apparently 2 (or 3) different endings: A, B/B1.
A ending is similar to the ending we have now, with them living / fighting together as immortals. B ending is ZZS on the snowy mountain teaching Deng Kuan's, and "saw" WKX but it ended up being just an illusion. it's possible that ZZH and GJ thought that B ending was the ending?
it is possible that the ending we have now is a HE that combined scenes from both A and B. when ZZS looked surprise upon turning around, it was possible that they took that shot from the B ending. but ultimately, it's a HE. :)
I was watching the fanmeet where ZZH said this is the best script he got in 10 years makes me think how even actors…
i agree. i actually don't mind stoic male leads if they're actually shown as being more than just that throughout the drama. i feel like, half of the times, a drama is ruined for me due to badly written scripts (the rest of the times it's the acting/lack of chemistry between the leads). it's really unfortunate. despite the problems with WOH (especially towards the end) -- i am grateful to that we were able to have a decent script writer and two actors with amazing chemistry to give us this drama.
P.S. I also think it is funny that while most dramas want to increase their popularity after it starts airing,…
right?! sometimes i wish we could've had a regular release schedule for the entire drama without VVIP -- the intensity of the daily discussions! but i'm honestly just glad we were able to have the entire drama aired (special ep included).
Both ZZH & GJ said their goodbyes to their characters on Weibo today. Links to both w/ Eng. subs. You can tell…
ZZH and GJ also posted on douyin of them "waking" up from their dreams -- and their douyin matched: they both woke up at the moment in the sun in ep 12. they're really making me emotional, as though the ending hasn't done that already.
