I am more forgiving of Zeke and Fifth because they are still students, and since they are not the main couple,…
One more little thing... I was really shocked that the principal came out as a female or trans character. Did you see that? I think its nice that Xiom gives a chance for these trans actors or wanna be trans actors, to showcase their talents (or lack of), BUT sometimes I think he prefers a trans actor over a woman and that to me feels a bit mysoginistic considering the nature of the BL genera. I will give it to him that at least here none of the evil characters are woman. In fact, there are really no black and white "evil" female characters like we had in My Day or Rainbow Prince.
Also, there was a scene of someone walking by what looked like a traditional Filipino dance on the street or something. Did you see that? It was so weird and so out of place. I think Oxin is getting paid by the tourism board or something so they have to have this throw-away scenes that they just never seem to know where to put them (My Day had a similar Thai Chi scene that just made 0 sense).
I think the lack of chemistry between Miko and TJ is 100% the writer's fault. When has anything romantic happened between them? Was the trip to the elephant sanctuary romantic? 'cause all I remember are some pretty lame and bad double entendre jokes about the elephant trunks and the hot guys in the water. You know, when you go on a date with a guy and you want to be really romantic, you just talk about other guys junk. Right? (rolls eyes)
So yes, the writing for that couple is beyond abysmal. I can't believe Miko is listed as a producer. He should know better. He should have ask more for his story. Instead the focus is completely on Zeke and Fifth (not complaining). Miko has really shot himself in the foot here. For his sake I hope it is true that he wants to "retire from BL" (like he had a long career?), because after this, its gonna be harder for him to get a main role.
Watching this show actually produces rage in me. I still like Zeke & Fifth, although their storyline plunged into…
I think they are in some type of college/vocational school, but i agree that talent show was cringey.
At first, i thought Oxin was doing better with this series compared to Rainbow Prince, but this is pretty amateurish and some of it is down right ridiculous. Tonally, this series keeps vacilating between a rauchy comedy, a comedy and a drama. I wish it made its mind up. Also what age is this targeted at? Because the Chukchuk story seems so childish that no serious series aimed at older teens or adults would consider to include something like it. Xion Lim thinks its funny to include his dogs in this, but it is making him look like a fool and an idiot.
The other thing that stands out to me is how bad the progression of the Sky/Win relationship has been. I dont find them believable at all and thats 100% due to the writing. There hasn't been any real romantic scenes between them. They seem more believable as f buddies than as bfs. Unless thats where this is headed....
I have about 1/2 of the last episode to watch and I can't... It is such a snoozefest. NOTHING HAPPENS.
Yes, its a fluffy series, but dear God what a boring series and the last 2 to 3 episodes have been 100% BORING.
I also don't get why GMMTV treats us like we are uneducated Kwai. I mean, Gun randomly opening a door to see Cher, mom having a change of heart at the last minute, Gun forgiving Cher for vanishing, Cher winning the tournament and getting an actual trophy then the boys cringey behavior after they win, and Tian... well, Tian getting pretty much forgotten. Did Tian's dad go to jail? I know, I am halfway through the episode but this has not been something the series seems to have any interest in revisiting.
I like Book and I like the character of Cher. Unlike a lot of people, I find his bubbly personality very refreshing. However, this is series is pedestrian to the core. We can have a bubbly character with depth (see Toh in Secret Crush On You), and we can have a mature office drama (see Step by Step). Puerile and pedestrian and boring is what this was and I am giving New a D. I expect better from him.
The acting was still a bit clunky at times, but I thought both leads were strong this episode. I liked the way…
The scene were Nikko cries, didn't get me emotional at all. I don't know if it was the script or the acting, but it was just meh for me. However, I did enjoy the episode. The final scene was very well acted by Tommy.
Do you even know, Krist was supposed to play "Kongpob" and Singto "Arthit". The director must have seen something,…
I don't know if English is not your native language but "inspired in Singto's real life" and "inspired by a picture of Singto" are two different things.
I still want to see the original source of this because all I can find is a tweet by the guy who took the picture and posted it. He says that SOTUS was inspired by that picture, but I can't find anything on Bittersweet saying that this is true.
I liked Nikko up until this episode. I think they are making him out to be a flat character. He is just good, nice and sweet. He doesn't feel despair, or hopelessness. He is not sad.
yea I don't see at all Justin being interested in Eli as people said was being hinted at before.. I think Justin…
The dad's death played a role in Cairo coming out to his family if I am not mistaken. I think it also served as a catalyst to push Cairo into living in the moment more.

The actor who plays him however, that's an entirely different story :D Yum, yum.

It will be interesting to see Justin turn around and support Eli and Nikko. Two more episodes to go!
He is basically Saint Nikko.
As far as I know, the only source we have is the guy who took the picture. Has Bittersweet herself say this is true?

OMG Pitch and Bank were dreamy. I had so hoped they got a spin off or something. Would have been awesome! I loved PhuKao too, but I mostly liked Kao.
You know, I do like the masculine Ukes. I really really do. :)
