Lol. I also recognise it's a long read, for which I'm sorry. But, as you point out, I can dispense with KBL and…
I saw GameBoys, and am one of the few people who could suffer the 100,000 "Babyyyyy"s for the sake of Kokoy de Santos. I started Hello Strangers -- but isn't the same as GameBoys?
I love this so much. You really explained BL especially Thai BL. It was so fun to read. Damn!! The misogyny, don't…
Thank you so much!
Yes, it puzzles me that, I, a gay man, make more fuss about how BL treats women than the predominantly female fan base here does. But then, unfortunately, misogyny is so widely prevalent in the world that I must assume most women are indeed aware of it, and it is in fact to escape it that they come to BL in the first place.
What a fun (and sadly accurate) read! Though the number of words I had to look up make me question my vocabulary…
You know, I'm now wondering whether I should cross-post this dictionary elsewhere, where it might prove an even better fit. What do you think? Any suggestions?

Awww... You are very kind.
Alas, I haven't seen enough Pinoy BLs. I did do a review of Gaya Sa Pelikula -- perhaps the only mixed/slightly negative review in a sea of positives, but I haven't seen much else. Would you recommend any?
Oh heaven's your reviews are better than the series. I dropped this cause, I realised I was falling asleep only…
Lol. Thanks! I will admit, the show had its charm, and I was willing to forgive its many flaws -- not least the veritable trope-fest that was the turgid plot. (I mean, there's a reason why ZZ's first question for me was: "Is it about stepbrothers?") But the ending was just unforgivable.
I dropped this series as soon as I heard the wife dies... I very deeply LOVE, LOVE! Ossan Love the original because…
Exactly! The people in Japanese Ossan's Love were fully realised characters. Esp. the wife. Without her, all the conflict that gives the plot its spark, and makes it funny, just goes away. You're just left with a damp squib of a show.
How long did it take you to compile the Thai BL Dictionary, because it's so hysterical and true.
Thanks! I actually wrote it all down in one afternoon, after seeing the third or the fourth episode. However, the contents of it are the fruits of a long year spent in the company of Thai BLs -- some of it very pleasurable, some atrocious, but mostly just waiting for something new to happen!
I'll take a look at the rest!
Maybe call it "BLeak House"? :)

Please tell me: did my prediction above, about the 11th hour crisis, come true? If so, I'm dropping it now.

Did you finish the show?
