Low key kinda reminded me of Meet me Outside...that being said this special highlights one of my few issues with Thai BLs. There is this mandatory ten second pause thing they do between each character's sentence before the other responds and it makes the conversations appear stilted and insincere. I of course am still going to watch the full series, this is not a deal breaker. Nothing is for me really. :)) Just had to mention that cause newer shows seem to be doing better on that front and it was highly noticeable here.
Old Boo: "The feelings I had for you were always true..." Kinn: Glances over at new boo to see how he's receiving this "news" New Boo: Returns look with "Are you going to believe the BS this arsehat is spouting?" stare. Me: Oh yes lawd I love me some drama and a triangle is my favorite shape...giggling in wicked glee
End of the episode: Well that went sideways.
But seriously though I think Kinn is just effing around with the whole locking Porsche up cause he's trying to give Tawan a false sense of security so he can find out what his REAL game is. And he's not telling anyone/keeping his plans close to his chest , that way no one accidentally spills the beans to the mole or Tawan.
Bumbling, mumbling, nervous, adorable Porchay...wanna squeeze his adorable cheeks and wrap him up in cotton.
Vegas/Pete: All the sermon listening and praying in a temple can't save you two from the hell you will raise together/bring each other. Bhudda be with them (No disrespect meant, I wanted to say Amen but it just wouldn't fit the context).
Kam-sa-ham-ni-da for listening to this ahjumma give her two cents on this episode. Saranghaeyo! ;-)
But i m open to recommendations if anyone knows anything with depth also like cornered mouse , double mints, night…
Some Chinese BL got away with stuff before the ban. Also in Taiwan they speak Mandarin so you will/might see some BL from there labeled as Chinese and they have NO ban so their shows and movies get naughty/dark. I will try to DM you more when i get a chance! Do you watch shorts cause I've got a list of those you might wanna check out?

I just randomly threw in a whole bunch cause I have NO idea what you've seen already other than those mentioned. Some are great, others mediocre, some old some new, but here you go:options! Seven Days:Monday-Thursday and it's sequel
Holy shit!!! I was NOT ready for the intensity of the last few minutes. What an episode.
I really appreciate how they showed the difference in energy of the two families and how they run their operations. Main family produces an heir like Kinn: calculated, cool, composed and dignified, while the second family gives us, well, Vegas. lol Wild, untamed and unpredictable with no moral compass. I love that this episode was grittier and with more action while at the same time moving their emotional relationship forward. Then the calm and sweet moments between Porchay and Kim. It's hard to do these tonal shifts well in movies much less a single episode of a show. I LOVE this series SO MUCH.
And Apo, has stolen my whole, complete, entire heart... Send help!!!!!!
This show is getting a lot of criticism some of them well and truly justified. But given it is very short, it wasn't surprising that the story was underdeveloped and the making up part rushed. What I find funny/weird is people heavily criticizing the actions of the characters. Have y'all ever been "in love" before? Or had a crush in high school/college etc ? Or never had friends act as a go between you and someone you liked? None of the behavior depicted in this show is strange/rare in the real world. lol Once again it's this weird thing I don't get with people wanting everyone in shows to know the right behavior, the appropriate reaction and all this at the right time. That's not how life works. That's not how love works for some people either. But I guess that's also how subjectivity in watching shows goes. To each his own.
Anyway I enjoyed it for what it was, a bit disappointed at the thought of what it could have been and looking to close the chapter next week. I DID really like the chemistry between Joong and Dunk. After gaining more acting experience/practice I would like to see them again.
Last episode was pretty big bomb, indeed.Honestly, I would wait one more week and binge it afterwards.
I decided to just go ahead and watch it. My curiosity got the better of my patience :-) I figured second to last episode today and then just a week for the finale, it will be a tolerable enough wait... I appreciate your response!
There were great highs and meh lows. All in all not shabby but I can't help but feel like this was a couple scenes/dialogues short of what could have been a REALLY great show. The chemistry was certainly visible between the leads but something was amiss. Force held this series together like glue.
Anyway, not complaining too hard. It did the job but didn't go above and beyond. Now, what is next on the watchlist? hmmmmm....
I am running out of shows to watch and came here to read reviews and comments to see if I should pick this one up. Man! The comment section is like a bomb went off at a NYE party, mayhem, smoke and debris and confetti strewn all about. Such extremely polarized views lol I'm straddling the fence on whether or not to press play and it's chafing haha
That's one of the things I liked too ,they did not make Toh "more respectable" or "less embarrassing" and "cringe"…
Humans. So funny. We are so loud these days about letting people be as they are and yet I remember reading so many comments here making fun and berating this show for the way the characters were written especially Toh's group of friends. People just talking out of both sides of their mouth. tsk tsk
I'm about to drop this series, I've watched only 2 episodes... What should I do ?? (I can't handle the second…
The second hand embarrassment gets toned down in later episodes but not done away with completely. Stick with it and you'll find that it's a really good series and worth the time. Many here initially said what you are saying but gave it a chance and it grew on them, it might on you as well...it's just that kind of show.
Understandably not everything is everyone's cup of tea. However, this show felt like it was brewed just for me: the cringe, the second hand embarrassment, the surprise sexiness/hot and horny scenes, the friendships and camaraderie, the lessons on life and acceptance. Everything just worked. Usually when a show is done, it's done but for some reason this one, I wasn't ready to say goodbye which is rare for me.
I loved that they kept Toh Toh through the entire show. He didn't get less "nerdy", he didn't change his looks, he didn't get less clingy instead his lover only loved him more and more. I loved each and every character except the ex haha and I will re-watch this show over and over again for sure. I'm so happy I hit the play button. I've twinged in extreme embarrassment, felt involved, laughed out loud so hard, I've cried, I've FELT. I feel so rewarded and that is all i can ask for from a series. I am so so sad this has come to an end.
Good job to the cast , Billy and Seng in particular and the entire staff for this show! It's been such an exhilarating, emotional ride.
My "ummmm..." comment cause well, we know he (Pete) doesn't get "kept safe" (dammit my touch keyboard is effed up on my laptop so I can't use my emojis) Imagine i used a crying emoji ten times

Another funny one again not quite the same but Cherry Magic was excellent: -unassuming, office worker and a popular co-worker kind of relationship.
