exactly and the drama tells you in your face she’s not your normal strong smart heroine and doesn’t plan to be, she admits herself she’s the weakest person in the heaven realm and she’s only good at running away without any good quality (she’s literally always putting herself down), she just wants to leave her life happily and without pressure, she doesn’t bother anyone, doesn’t want to fight anyone, she’s bubbly, weak, naive and positive, and she knows it, her only ambition is to pay her kindness to her prince charming by serving him from far and nothing else, if her character bothers you then don’t watch the drama like that’s it, we get you find her annoying but trust we don’t care 🙏 you can go watch another drama with a female lead you like. and right, there is a reason why she dubs all her characters since the beginning of her career and is now even dubbing others characters, she has a lot talent and knows what she does, you can hear in the trailer that she’s changing her voice through the drama (when she’s all innocent, when dfqc is in her body and when she matures later), if her natural high-pitched voice annoys you that’s your own problem since neither the directors, esther or people who like her are bothered by it 🤷♂️

the first body swap was an accident but ml swapped back their souls few minutes after, from the trailer we know they'll body swap again (we don't know if it'll be accidentally again or because the ml wanted it) so it'll happen perhaps 3/4 times in the whole drama
finally watched the 6 episodes and as i mentioned ealier i'm very impressed by how nice the cgi is, it's not perfect but it never has been for any c-drama (only ancient love poetry cgi has a better quality to my eyes and not by that far), what i like the most is the orange-pink and red-blue gradient, for a xanxia it's dark and not too colored so what a feast for my eyes, and i really enjoy the efforts to make the costumes different, dong fang makeup and styling is just soooo awesome. now about the characters; as a novel reader both leads are doing a great job to fit the character, lanhua HAS to be naive and stupid, if she wasn't the love line could literally not work, you're not supposed to take her seriously, the drama TELLS YOU she's stupid and the only thing she's good at is running away, like the power dynamic is litterally hilarious: the most powerful and evil being of the universe has to serve the weakest and most naive fairy,... all the uses of these cheesy lines turned into comedic effect is just so smart, the sentence "i want her to be the happiest woman of the world" said with an evil ass face and a devilish voice... IT'S HILARIOUS, the drama is off-beat humour, it's obvious her naivety IS a caricature, she's supposed to be naive as hell that's the point of the whole thing otherwise he would not be able to play with her like that, she's misunderstanding everything and you would think he's smarter than her but he's just as stupid LOL, the love line is dumb and dumber, i keep laughing, i already very much like the drama and can't wait to see more.

it's not as serious as immortal samsara but the drama still has its part of angst i would say! hopefully dw will be enough convincing as a demon lord! the novel was the same, quite light at first especially since the fl is bubbly and naive in the first half, then it got a bit more serious in the middle and very angsty in the ten last chapters
