fl is similar to the one in ashes of love, ml is a real villain kinda like the one in goodbye my princess (not xianxia but that’s the closest villain ml in a cdrama i can think of), the relationship keeps the “forbidden relationship” trope we often see in xianxia (reminds a bit of love and redemption or immortal samsara) but there is body swapping which i don’t remember seeing in a xianxia before, so i would say it’s quite an unique plot overall

oh that's interesting, while watching the trailer i was wondering if the one she's going to stab is "yy, tz or another one" because i'm guessing she recovered her memories at this point of the story but since she didn't look like the depressed yd or the funny bpl so i was thinking "maybe there is a third live" but i'm guessing it'll just be demon yandan with hard feelings "after sadness there is resentment", i hope we will get to see more of yy with his azura side as well
