i agree 😭 it was rushing a bit in the recent two eps, i didn’t mind it, but would’ve loved it if they savored…
lol i would never, i am a sucker for yearning angst barely hand grazes longing stares. i think everyone else would have an issue with it though so yeah, not saying the drama is ruined by them not doing more yearning, but i personally would’ve loved to see something angsty like that. then again there aren’t enough eps to give them such a good slow burn, so im not complaining too much. just giving my two cents, idk why its an issue when people have preferences lol, its not like we were trying to cancel the drama or smth
been putting this drama off for so long since it was airing, but dk why i did that, really loving it. very different from dramas that i remember were airing alongside it
I have an unpopular opinion. I would have appreciated the intense and palpable yearning of our leads more than…
i agree with you lol, i love yearning and angst, i thought the tension was going to be a bit more palpable and maybe only acted on in the last ep (or maybe not even at all). that's why bodyguard trope is so good, because there is a line that isn't meant to be crossed and there is crazy angst and yearning. i don't mind this either though, since it's only 9 eps.
im glad i've found a fellow yearning enjoyer
tbh the drama started out pretty mature and with some interesting/novel ideas, but in these recent eps there have been some predictable cliches that have slightly watered it down for me. i still love it because of the iconic cast and amazing chemistry though, and i was in fact giggling and kicking my feet every ep, so who am i to complain
Wait, no! I just started watching. I really can’t handle drama with tragic endings anymore. Why do you think…
they randomly referenced a bloodwork appointment "he missed", it seemed too out of place, i think it'll be referenced again when he faces some health complications
main couple made me giggle and kick my feet, while second couple made me scream omfg, intellectual banter angsty enemies to lovers arranged ?!!!!! wish we got to see more of them at the end and their married life. first time i actually enjoyed a character played by koseki yuta, he suits it so well
the dialogue is so witty and unique, i can hardly guess what they're going to say next, its refreshing and fun. the characters r complex and interesting, and not in a cringey way at all. even though i dont feel too much chemistry between the lead pair, I'm enjoying it very much. i primarily started for the second couple, and definitely enjoying them because of how layered and intriguing mo taerins character is. im excited to learn more about her backstory
first 2 eps were rocky but these new eps have really won me over, the directing and writing is endearing
the romance was so endearing, awkward, and cute. it was perfectly paced, and had a nice addition of friendship, bromance, slice of life, and cute animals. wish we got to see a bit more of the post-confession moments, but highly recommend overall.
been a fan of na inwoo since watching him as the endearing yinam in unasked family (2020), and i stand by the fact he does playful energetic characters the best, he really surprised me here because i haven't loved his recent projects but his performance as seoha is very charming and fun, and suits him well just as yinam did
i dont like how even when the FL is a ceo she still needs to be that ditsy clumsy archetype, it's so overdone honestly. but so far im enjoying it, just would've loved if we got to see a FL more like male CEOs we see in kdramas
