however granted i did have this on hold after ep four for five months but just resumed and it’s so so good
my understanding is that people aren’t enjoying it because it’s not like your generic kdrama, it gives me more jdrama vibes actually
if you want a good intellectually stimulating case-by-case story with slice of life, and a slow burn romance on the side with a few really good butterfly-inducing scenes, i would recommend this. if you are an INTP/INFP, i think you will like this show (some endearing intp representation)

also how in the world did habin know that yeongmin and mina were threatening her mom, when she wasn't aware of WHAT they were threatening her with? because she had been tailing mina and yeongmin since the beginning with the purpose of finding her mother's "killer" and taking revenge. but not sure how she would've pinpointed mina and yeongmin without finding the text messages they sent her that had the threats of exposing suhyeons murder? did they mention in the drama at all, does anyone know? maybe money transfer records?
and who took that one money bag that went missing when song mina went to the forest to grab it? i was under the impression it might have been habin because she was tailing her, but they never really revealed it. i think that money bag is different from the money bag that kept being passed around during the drama because that bag had the money mina stole from yeongmin's desk
also what exactly were those money bags? for what job was he being paid so much, dr*g trafficking? at first i thought it was the money habin's mom was paying them, but it seems they kept getting money well after the mom passed away?
i wish they showed the process of how suhyeon ended up getting scared of habin, what exactly irked her to want to distance from her. because in the end it seemed she trusted her enough to call her for help, i wonder what caused her to cut her off in the first place.
also in the mountains, after juntae's dad hit habin with his car, where did habin go? was she unconscious? because right after didn't juntae dismember song mina's body? wouldn't habin have witnessed this if she got up right away? or was it already dismembered when he hit her? they never clarified what exactly happened in the mountains
really felt sad for the mom in the story, it seems she had mental issues of her own that made the doubt eat away at her mentally, she couldn't share her worries with her ex-husband either because she knew he wouldn't trust his daughter. in the end it wasn't doubt that ended her though, but guilt when she realized she suspected her daughter for nothing. not sure why she ended her life though because even if her actions were incriminating, she had the best evidence to prove her and her daughter's guilt.
what confused me is how the mom made rounds of her therapist but never thought to schedule her daughter with a specialist too. not that anything is wrong with habin, but there exist many specialists for alexithymia (condition where you're unable to recognize emotions) who give interventions to build better emotional awareness and relationship skills which would've really benefitted habin
also what actually happened to hajun? we never found out
kind of strange how the leads are already reconnected and so close by the end of ep one, pacing wise weird, this kind of story deserves an our beloved summer type of slow burn
story could’ve had more structured i was looking forward to a fun success story type of plot, some parts of the story felt like they were making an analogy to how real politicians act and the tactics they use. didn’t know whether they were trying to make sehoons romance between jaewon, jihoon, jeonghui, or mina
idk why people are complaining, i loved the slow burn angsty push and pull so much, i think they got together at a perfect point in the drama because sometimes when a couple gets together too quickly it starts to get draggy with all the fluff, but this didn't feel dragged at all. and once they had their first kiss they had like dozens more loll so we were very spoiled
i remember when this drama was airing I was getting ready to pursue being a pilot, haha things have taken such a different turn since then
i was reminded of this drama because I'm watching grand maison tokyo right now and it's nice to see the leads of nice flight in a different dynamic over there!
