where did you watch this. Couldn't find english subtitles anywhere
theres a fansubber named 'aoinousagi' who subbed the whole series, you can find their tumblr account to see the drama link, but before that you'd need to have an account on drama-otaku to access the subtitles! (becoming a member is free btw, you just need to apply to get accepted by admins)

I feel like I've never encountered a drama as good as break up service in terms of the slow burn-bickering romcom…
yesss of course, I can message it to you!

ngl the last ep ruined it a little for me because why was boss pining for jued so badly for the past 10 episodes for him to break up with her so easily and be such an a55 while dating her (like not apologizing, nitpicking at her interests, etc)? 😭😭😭 it just felt so rushed and not really true to the characters and scenario. maybe if the drama was two episodes longer and this break-up request plot was a little more fledged out. during the beginning of ep 12 i really thought boss and jued already knew about the break up request and were just playing along because they were fighting over things so quickly and almost as if by-design lol. that wouldve been a cuter plot twist imo. overall the drama was great, every single episode was amazing, just the last ep left much to be desired. the bl fan service was also so apparent, like i don't have anything against it but i wish we saw more sweet moments of the actual main couple too. with just one episode left after they confessed to each other, we really did NOT need a break up 😭

This was so fun and entertaining and the leads had wonderful chemistry. Can anyone recommend similar shows?
I feel like I've never encountered a drama as good as break up service in terms of the slow burn-bickering romcom chemistry but maybe try any of these three:

- The japanese drama Renai Mangaka has a kind of similar plot; the ML is a popular manga author and he recruits FL to create 'dating and break up scenarios' to give him inspiration for his manga. i know it sounds weird lol but trust me its not that bad and the breakups are kind of 'justified' similar to break up service. the leads have nice chemistry and the comedy is decent
- The korean drama Good Job has similar dynamics between the leads and is quite fun and engaging. It's kind of like an investigation/crime solving plot and the leads go in disguise a lot and are always up to some shenanigans similar to the leads in BUS lol
- Taiwanese drama Small and Mighty is on the legal side but has a similar case-by-case format, the plot is very comedic and cute and the leads have great chemistry (almost no romance for the leads though, but lots of chemistry). but if you're in the mood for more romance, the leads from this drama recently reunited in a drama called Breeze By the Sea, and it's so good, highly recommend (romcom bickering to lovers + nature healing)

waitt the wedding scene was so special!! loved how both the proposal and wedding weren't as flashy as the kdrama, i think it adds to the sincerity of both gestures. but the flashiness of the kdrama is something i really loved too because it was rlly pretty and memorable. both are good!

also now that i think about it, i dont think secretary kim ever managed to quit in the korean version? i remember she was working as a secretary even in the last episode. im glad in this version we actually got to see her pursue her passion and not be stuck in a weird power dynamic with her husband

ngl i like how they did the progression after confession in this version over the korean. i found rlly weird how…
and jiah gwinam will be my fav couple in every adaptation lol , love their chemistry in this one too

ngl i like how they did the progression after confession in this version over the korean. i found rlly weird how in the kdrama the ml was obsessed with sleeping with the fl and she even called him a "bulldozer"... like wtf was that. i am appreciating the flow much better in this, i watched the korean version a while ago but i feel like they adapted some scenes to be more non-cliche and more fitting for 2025 which was great
