unfortunately ML is very much my type so I'm still rooting for him lol. i think I must be getting old because the more stable option is more attractive to me. not to mention he is the founder of his own woodworking company, volunteers to causes that are important to him, is kind to children, is calm and a good listener. his only flaw is that he is kind of clueless and passive in terms of pursuing someone
I understand the hype for SML though, an exciting addition to the story.
I didn't like him at first, but with the context of him filling in for a friend, I think he's alright so far. I guess to end things neatly without getting complicated he initially behaved very rudely. but he couldn't keep the act up because he was attracted to uiyeong's personality.
I think it may have been easier if he just told her plain and simple that he was filling in for a friend.
i actually loved it so much, it's very reminiscent to other well-known media with the "messy but fabulous” female-focused trope. similar to SATC, the devil wears prada, breakfast at tiffanys, valley of the dolls
- scenes between the leads are very natural and cute, nothing over the top and really a breath of fresh air from…
also I wonder if park kiwoong actually sketched that portrait of jin seyeon himself, I know he's a really great artist and it would be a cool easter egg if it was his own work
- scenes between the leads are very natural and cute, nothing over the top and really a breath of fresh air from the usual dramatics we see - I was liking that there was no love triangle and toxic SFL and SML making the love story complicated, I really hope it stays that way - It was really touching when all the gong family members silently showed up for the uncle, it felt like a real family. It's nice to see a family drama thats actually family-ing the right way - It's still pretty early in the drama, but I feel like they aren't tapping into the full potential of eunbin and woojae, they didn't even show us the scene where she delivered the couple tees. I hope we can see more of them in the next few eps
I became a fan of the actor Cho Han Gyeol! Im loving his acting. And he’s so handsome too💙I’m hoping to…
Check out the webdrama Let me Off the Earth, my first work seeing him and it really surprised me! Probably one of my favorite webdramas I've ever watched, It's a high school timeloop adventure/mystery kind of story
so i guess they didn't have a lot budget for the cameo of woojus parents lmao, didn't even film any flashbacks they could use. i really wish we saw more of them with their child
i feel like theres too much time being wasted on the stupid love triangle when instead the plot should be focused on taehyung learning to forgive his brother through wooju and both FL and ML healing through raising their nephew. the show is called "our wooju", not "our love triangle" 🙄🙄
the sisterhood themes in this drama is exactly what we wanted to see in a hundred memories. soo sweet, its so hard to find a girlhood/sisterhood dynamic in a kdrama these days
story between the leads is moving kind of fast for a 50 ep drama, no?
I guess the main focus of the drama will be how the parents' feud with each other is a roadblock to all the couples that will transpire between the two families.
I'm personally most excited for the ML's aunt and FL's uncle love story
wish we actually saw scenes of wooju with his parents, or like scenes of when the sister was pregnant, when hyunjin met her nephew for the first time, etc...
even in life as we know it, it was just a 2 hour movie, but still had those kinds of scenes to actually tell the story and so that nothing felt rushed
hii some other cdramas that also fit this trope that I can think of are: 1 - twelve letters 2 - remembrance of things past 3 - the first frost (not really super slow burn but still nice)
surprisingly enjoyed this a lot, i didn't mind the main couple pairing but i'm seeing many complain about it. now that i am aware of the age gap, it's a little weird, but honestly the gap is not very noticeable on screen. my guess was that im jiyeon is around 40 and lee jungjae is around 47. but i was wildly wrong lol. casting someone like jung kyungho for ML would've been so much more preferred.
yes lee jungjae surprised me and i didn't exactly hate him in the role of the ML, but i can never see him the same after finding out he has multiple DUI charges and assaulted a woman and got away with it all. in comparison an actress like kim saeron had one DUI charge but netizens ended her career and pushed her to ending her life. the level of misogyny in korea is disgusting

très chic!
