first time seeing a direct reference to the genocide in gaza in an asian drama or film. this movie is such a journey, obtuse, but in all the good ways

just finished, love the artistic choice of making the last episode the full tenblank concert and telling the story through each song on the setlist, really powerful

my fav song has to be A Song for Us to Sing with yukino x tenblank. also Citrus, I'm so sad they only performed it once briefly in the drama

I'm a little sad we didn't get to see more plot for Kai, she was one of my fav characters, very layered and makes you interested to know more about her story. i hope we can get a season 2 because i've read that the full novel wasn't adapted through the first season, can someone confirm this?

just got to the campfire singing scene and i squealed with joy at the First Love easter egg, i'm glad they included that

yeah that makes sense actually, and his head was always filled with thoughts of her after the accident because it happened while he was going to see her, so she became a familiar thought for him. but when he met her again, he was upset that she didn't remember him whatsoever. but obviously she never asked him out on that date that's why she doesn't remember him

so he basically harbors a little bit of dislike for her for the accident and not remembering who he is, but he's also secretly mega yearning for her GAHHHFHFHHF these two are giving me so many butterflies, like how are they sitting in a room quietly 3 feet apart and i'll still be squealing and giggling 😭😭 and i really love how slow paced it is

and of course song weilong strikes again with his big sad beautiful eyes, that man was MADE to yearn on-screen

she has that kind of beauty that chinese actress meng ziyi has, like a porcelain doll

if this was a cdrama, FL would have ended up with lee shin won, lee heon's wife would have been secretly alive (she ran away because palace life was overwhelming for her) and he would abandon the throne to be with her, and lee shin won would turn out to be lee heon's secret half-brother, thus he becomes the next in line to take the throne. i liked what they did with the plot, but i would've much rather preferred this hypothetical lol

talking about the actual plot, i wish they introduced hwayun earlier, i really loved her character and wish her and SML had more scenes together

also seeing noh minwoo in a drama these days, even a guest role, always brightens my day :) i'm glad to see him back

finally got to watch and wow, what a horror genre debut ! very interesting, but definitely think that slice of life continues to be director shinobu's specialty lol

i love the music in this drama so so much, every time i put on a new episode i have to have spotify open and ready to save as i listen

one thing though, the leads have zero chemistryyy. this series honestly didn't even need romance (sho x naoki seemed more believable lmao)

now THIS is what I call a slowburn, their relationship was so genuine omg. perfect balance of comedy, slice of life, found family, adventure, romance. truly a gem of a drama
