Completed ep11, and tbh i get miao jing and at the same time I don't understand her. She clearly is a mature girl since day 1. So she should have connected the dots that chen yi was hiding something from her when he suddenly rejected her. And yes if someone reject her then why would she still talk to him. But i don't understand why miao jing never thought that even before lovers they were family. And family don't cut off each other this easily. But again I can't blame her because she already has dealt with abandonment from her mother.

Chen yi clearly has PTSD after arson case. He went to investigation office and fire broke up which was unusual. Clearly something he did because of getting mr. Zhang trust and leave kuangxia. But if he was a police spy why he can't inform this to his superior? I don't understand what kind of spy can't give info and cause casuality when it's a spy job to prevent those? I think it's a fault in writing. Some things doesn't make sense.

Romance has clearly got sidelined here. The problem is that since their first kiss i felt nothing. Romance felt flat and now the spark is not there.

I get it this audit thing is imp but seriously the name of drama is "love for u" at any point the romance should not felt flat is what my take is.

Also, i think this is also showing a kind of healing in their relationship. What i think is the concept of this drama is that "two people who were scarred by their parents and life in their childhood ultimately find home and family and love in each other." And mind you, when chen yi was sacrificing his own life when dealing with these dangerous people,because somewhere he was wanting to give miao jing a good life and he don't want to become like his father, he was going deep into darkness. And healing and healthy relationship doesn't work like that. Getting into darkness and only thinking about the others leads to pain to the person and closed one. Its a unhealthy love came because a person wanted to hold on or give everything good to one who was by his side by harming oneself. And that's why I guess miao jing needs to now make him learn that this is wrong. She and he both has to make effort to heal themselves specially chenyi and miao jing through her love can help him. Otherwise before this it would have looked like a toxic emotional codependency relationship. But their love for each other has to make a journey from that to a healthy love relationship and that's why this is imp. Showing and addressing chen yi's dark job past is imp, healing is imp, taking stand for their love and themselves is imp, treating each other as their other half by sharing problem and not dealing it alone is imp to be a healthy love. That's why the name is "love for u". Because their love comes with healing and independent of these only one making sacrifices and having baggage of responsibility. Which miao jing was wanting after she realised her feelings for him.

Yeah. I did read later. It did answered some of my ques. For the rest will see in drama. But tbh even with reasoning lu qing has, i genuinely think xiaofan was and always has been treated like he is no one. He himself think he is useless and that's why he is always trying hard to make himself useful to others. By either making soups, dinner, asking for money from lu qing even at the cost of his own self respect and not to forget the whole marriage. So when lu qing says "i am enjoying novelty", " ducks can also flock with swans if ducks are white" even to his friends just to show he don't care about him. But xiaofan never ques him. It hurts more when someone whom u think genuinely is helping u even through sympathy says things like this. It hurts an individual's mental health. I feel for him.

But that's why the name is "bittersweet love", it's hurting xiaofan when he hears this but it brings comfort also to him as lu qing is the only one who actually side by him. Same goes for lu qing he clearly like him but he is hurting himself and xiaofan also. What to do?

The only thing I don't understand is since when lu qing started liking xiaofan? Was it love at first sight thing? Not sure

I mean he is funny so i understand u. My biggest laugh was when he was playing video game and shouting in anger in bts run ep before going to military service. Lol.

Ig it's lu qing way to feel connected with xiaofan. Xiaofan clearly used to make him soup daily and learn new recipes and this was reserved for lu qing only. So first ig lu qing clearly feels nostalgic when it comes to xianfan made soup. Second it makes him feel closer to the xiaofan like old times. Third sometimes when u miss someone's cooked food it's because u miss the taste and the emotions with which it was being made. So that food tastes even better. Somehow it maybe possible he is missing his soup's taste.

Can someone tell me what is the age of xiaofan and lu qing? Xiaofan got married then he studied then appeared for gaokao then entered university and lu qing still in university?

Just started with this drama and in ep2 and why in the world is xiaofan always be treated like a pushover and why he himself have so low self esteem. I mean I get it he is from countryside but man !!! Everyone treats him like he is inferior even their own parents. Their parents always call/ use him to get benefits. Also i deeply think that xiaofan only feels grateful towards bei lu qing. He think bei lu is helping him out of humanity i doubt that. He is already attracted towards him. He tutor him, give him cd player and what not. Ig somewhere it's xiaofan way of showing his gratitude by making him soup everyday. And bei lu appreciate that. But the problem is that i am getting irritated with xiaofan.....how much longer will be be treated like this? It will get better from ep3 atleast. Also i don't understand why xiaofan never tried to talk or show interest in his own wife??? Did he knew he was gay since beginning or what? Also why in the world bei lu qing always say harsh words to him but deeply care for him? I hate this kind of people who hurt u but actually care for u.

The writing is all over the place. Even if they reveal things later. I don't seem to connect the dots. I already got spoiled that chen yi is police spy. But his actions are not consistent to make sense out of it. It looks like this drama has a good concept but somewhere in between they lost it. It's main plot is not supported with good branching plot.

Ep10, what's happening? I am so confused. Let's first talk about romance. It has sidelined. It's focus has shifted towards chen yi's dealing with mr. Zhang.

Now, please someone make me understand few things. Construction project halt meant to be happened as first Linda back out and second the tax inspection. So basically they don't have funds to carry on with the project plus during inspection it's mostly the case that current project will be halted till the name gets cleared. But chen yi's reaction to the people who were asking him to help them was so indifferent. That's odd. Chen yi was not the person who would be so cold towards their own peers. What's the reason?

Then we saw chen yi questioning zhai's man to get the whereabouts of zhai. And he got to know about puer tea which means they bought tea so that they show in their balance sheet that they are earning less and get off with it. As the one who investigated didn't knew how costly is puer tea and treating it as normal tea from auction..because it's nothing new of having obsession of collecting good quality tea. Plus chen yi was seeing the records of tax payment to govt. Now my doubt is...is chen yi really police spy? Because otherwise it doesn't make sense that he went deeper to all these issues. Why would he do that?

Then we saw Convo between cop and his fiancee. First of all what Wen does? Why she will be in trouble if she is in investigation team of tax fraud? Someone threating her can be possible but how that cop don't know all these about tax thing? If chen yi is really a spy? He should be the first one to know that right?

Then we saw the Convo between zhang and chen yi. Why would he mention tax thing only to say that he want to leave kuangxia? Bringing serious issues like tax fraud and saying that he want to leave doesn't make sense to me. He will be going deeper and why would zhang be a fool to let him go? Was this a reverse strategy of chen yi to gain trust of zhang? Again as expected zhang gave him watch and showed him restricted area of surveillance not open to outsiders to make it harder to let him go. So it's like hitting ur own leg.

Same goes with watch chen yi didn't want to take it because he knew zhang watch will give him more trouble if police come to him for his involvement rather than giving him any benefit. Whose side is chen yi?

And why suddenly he wants to leave teng city and go to hai city for university along with miao jing? That was not the plan. Was chen yi that smart to know that he better leave this as getting involved with zhang and his business is not safe?

And how much zhang is clean? He did said that zhai was the mastermind but aren't they partners? So they are doomed together.

Then if chen yi is secret spy then cop should have informed him about leaving. But they are not in sync. So idk something doesn't make sense if chen yi is spy and some make sense if chenyi is a spy.

We saw miao jing to get an idea that the people with whom chen yi is dealing are no joke and they are criminals basically. Plus she is aware of tax thing going on in district 7 and where chen yi works. Idk why such a smart girl earlier now has become dumb to not ask properly what's the issue from chen yi? Why she thinks that he will tell her anything on his own?

I hope someone ans my doubts. Because i am wayyy too much confused.

I haven't watched till ep11, but looks like they are using time leap/ jump so that they can keep things mysterious and cover what actually happened in later ep through PTSD therapy sessions. And that's what Ig miao jing will also find. But this arson case is imp.

Kbl has stepped up their game by making this drama. It's so good. Just watched ep1 and not a single sec is boring.

Hmm this actually makes sense. But how much of it chen yi knows? The problem is that chen yi is close with mr. Zhang but still he don't tell him lot of things like this whole tax thing. So, yes it depends on level of his involvement. About police informant idk let's see it could be highly possible considering chen yi was always been the person who knows what is right and wrong and he always wanted to be an police officer. So that also makes sense. About PTSD idk what he has been through. I am still on early ep.

I am not sure at which ep u are in to say this. But i am still in ep9. I don't hold accountant or auditing degree but I do have understanding of macroeconomics and basics of accounting and auditing plus how whole money laundering n/w works. The point is that atleast till ep9, the story has not been told properly that how chen yi is in trouble.

It is actually my genuine doubt so if u know please ans me. There are lot of people who sells liquor so selling liquor is not dangerous. What is illegal is selling counterfeit liquor which was happening in district 7 we saw that. But chen yi handled it. Now, they have separate investment business as well. They invested in construction project which Linda was also part in it( but ig she stepped back because of tax inspection not sure) which can lead to construction project being in halt. Or scrap whole project because of insufficient funding or bad investment.

Now, coming to district 7 they did tried to ivade tax by using shell companies. Now that shell companies they mentioned is closed so tracing back is hard but still not impossible as one can still see audit logs or by getting employee lists which again will become Crystal clear that those were actually shell companies and not some legal business so both mr. Zhang and zhai are in trouble as they are partners in that.

But how anything is linked with chen yi? This ques i am not able understand. He is just a construction manager so he don't invest or look into money matters. Again in bar/ billiards bar he is like a manager to see day to day operations went smoothly. He do deal with wrong people but again how he is in trouble? Why Linda is warning him again and again and why that cop is warning him again and again. I mean there can always be risk that they accuse him as their partner in these crimes but it will be false accusations. I don't think it can be that dangerous.

That's where I don't think that story has kept the foundation of danger or said the danger that comes with it properly. It's more about explaining what's happening in a good way. Ig this drama wants it's audience to be intelligent to be able to understand on their own. Which actually is good but it serves only few audiences. It's audience can't be people who have little bit less knowledge in this aspect. Because let's be honest not all understand this.

Ep9 can someone please let me know what is going on with this whole district 7 tax thing? And how it is related to chen yi?

I just understood that people of district 7 has some past records of using shell companies to get away with tax and investment. About construction site project i see when they talk about "all our funds went to this project" means they have done some money misplacement which can be found in auditing if not handled properly. But what does it has to do with chen yi? He is just the construction manager and he should be clean. Even Linda backout from planning to have business investment with them and she warned chen yi. But why chen yi is in deep trouble?
