Someone long back commented that Molie( mo li) puer tea has strong cha qi( cha- tea and qi- energy in Chinese) and it resembles chang yang and xi gui puer tea( dancing tea) resembles qing lang and now i can't unsee it. What's interesting and nothing new is that it's closely linked with Yunnan region and Lancang river and both are part of ost of winter sun.

In ep3 u will know he already knew qing lang and was in love with him.

Toning down should never impact the overall story never. This is the fault of scriptwriter and tbh LJ acting is not helping me...again my opinion i didn't liked his acting. It's always one face. Except the rain crying scenes. For once I am sick of him always acting so pitiful when I have seen lots of pitiful character. Like BJ also suffers but he didn't acted pitiful all the time.

Am I the only one who felt that after ep2 story is not captivating? I mean at this point i feel like it was only rumours and trust issues that was the red flag in the whole thing. Mostly I feel red flag from little Jane. Yes Big Jane used to favour people but he wasn't was he was potrayed. Idk i feel like I am not feeling the element of red flag this series marketed to be from trailer or pilot. But maybe it's just me here. Even reunion I felt nothing. It should be heart warming right? But I felt nothing. Idk if it's my issue or what?

I actually loved Lin. What I was thinking he think the same. I like it. Imagine seeing everyone having threads just u don't have. It's like identity crisis. Did I have problem of not able to make connections( harsher way to see) or I just can't see mine( lighter way to see) but anyhow , the sadness emerging from that is prominently shown. Even the good and bad things that comes along with this power is also shown perfectly. That's why when he saw a thread attached with Wu his behaviour was understandable. How? Why? Really? Curiosity and excitement, confusion and happiness took over him. Wu became so imp for him (as he was his first connection) that he can't help but dream about him. Which is so close to the fact that we often dream about things that are imp to us. Just one doubt why connection formed with him? Because it was fated? Don't know...good start.

This drama is so good. Watched ep1 and it's done perfectly. The balance between comedy and emotional depth of characters has done well. Now this is what one can as rom com...I badly needed this. It's light hearted drama as per ep1.

And that's sad. Because it's happening somehow has became a norm.

Agree.The first flashback was shown when MJ and CY met in the present. That's why I understood that separation part will be covered later. But to some viewers this didn't worked. I remember lots of questions about why flashback is ending abruptly. Someone said it's because of editing. For me it was clear. Seconf flashback is good. I will wait for third one. Wait is the frustrating part agreed. Plus I think this mirroring flashbacks works well in novel but to adapt it in drama it's hard. If one has watched untamed there was also flashback but it was diff in the sense it's flashback covered entire story of wei wuxian and his death . So it was not looking abrupt there. Maybe to most viewers that kind of flashbacks works.

It's like i can't binge watch. 😅

Not sure about gaga translator watching in yt. But they don't explain how it's a flirting or how shipping was in trending1 for shi yuhao and qing lang.

I actually had noticed and i actually have doubt on this. I remember Qing Tian got to know about birds call for mate. Then chang yang after kiss replied to qing lang only with night birds. And he didn't even said about early birds. Before that also bird call was there but that time after kiss bird call was louder and more. I found it intentional.

Also whole Molie and xigue thing chang yang said didn't looked like just tea explaination. It's like chang yang is giving ans to qing lang about his earlier ques or consolation. I need to see this. But hey! Do u have an idea on this.

Because sometimes wait is a more desperate feeling. It asks ur missing and waited person to come home easily. Coming home matters. Returning home matters. Wait is hard. Specially when it doesn't come with limit. One never know when to stop waiting. Like u said qing lang didn't look outside from his window. But wait makes u to see. It makes u to notice even tiniest of detail while waiting.

What touched me is how we also don't realise time rarely comes from the sky outside our window. We also seldom sees the sun rise or set. But the sad and opportunity cost of fame and being celebrity is that everything in ur life is controlled.

Edit:- I know it's hard to even express the amount of love in words or lyrics but Winter sun ost filled page i have always seen that song from chang yang pov but looks like somewhere it also covers longing of qing lang...

What does 如鹿1C of qing lang or yi cao post means and how it was a simple food post but fan turned into shipping.
In Chinese 1- yi and cao- herb/ grass so qing lang was saying that termite mushrooms food that he has been served is "no one herb" but fans took it differently.

Fans thought 1 represented Shi Yuhao because he was qing lang very "first" or 'yi' iconic onscreen partner from 7 years ago. Also fans were already in delulu about sea as shi yuhao. Plus C is pronounced as Si so shi yuhao was referenced according to them.

The amount of wordplay, flirting, poetic and fandom delulu was exposed just with weibo comments is beyond me. I mean i literally have to watch and rewatch this part and search in google translate to understand. Otherwise it was so hard. 😩 But it also means how beautifully dialogues were crafted.

So when I searched for translation, I wondered why this is a flirting to which I found out that '18 bends of a mountain road' can be read as difficult, rocky, and complicated relationship journey. To which qing lang replied as shallow. Then Ji zongjun replied to take this road bravely and carefully.

Kind of promising each other that even if their relationship is complicated they will face it together step by step.
