Do Ki é gay? Pergunta sincera! Is Do Ki gay? Sincere question!
No I don’t think so nothing in season 1 or 2 so far seemed to indicate it. This just seems to be a non-romance storyline so the interactions are more about friendship. If anything the story of the possible romance is subtle one built on quiet comfort and grief not rom-com level energy. All members of the taxi team plus the villain are grieving from traumatic death and loss of loved ones, so fiery passion would misplaced in this storyline.
Currently on ep 8 and I love how LJH is able to switch between the various characters he portrays when running the cons. This reminds me of the US series Leverage with a little bit of Knightrider mixed in.
Oh really that's sad to hear 😔 but I don't get that emotion part doe, what emotions are you referring to?
She does happy and sad well but not so good with other emotions. Her character is suppose to be prideful and self-confident but she comes off flat to me. Example eps 3 and her finding out about the rock that kept her as a chicken, that expression of anger at her damage pride was flat and relied on outside effects and a flashback.
Such a good story, but I had to drop it after13 eps, zly acting abilities just ruined it for me. If she could convey more than 2 emotions then the character bi cang might have been worth all the screen she’s given.
Not likely, there was too much controversy surrounding this drama. From one of the actors being arrested to the public outcry for boycotting due on perceived Japanese imagery and influence.
Its a miracle that this drama was even allowed to be aired
Two questions:1) I am ONLY interested in kilig/spice/fire/angst/passion in my dramas. That being the case, will…
1) no, the love stories are all bittersweet at best and secondary to the plot. No angst mostly calculative seduction for 2nd couple and quiet moments of connection for 1st couple. With lesser side stories to highlight different sad lovelines for other couples. Basically just about every sad love story ending is present in this drama, with only one happy couple.
2) ml is standard Wuxia weak immature character that needs to forcefully grow and mature due to tragedy.
For those of you who generally prefer happy endings, would you still recommend MJTY as a worthwhile watch? I haven't…
I rewatched it twice already. Because I enjoy the overall story and cinematic production quality. But the open ending issue for me wasn’t the same as most the commenters. It was the story, If this was a marvel movie it would be the origins one that introduces new characters with a mini arch and the main arch for the sequels, only we don’t have assurances that sequels will be coming.
Watching this again because there is nothing good in C-drama land😌 and I feel the same like j felt when I watched…
Did the same, rewatched the series and then started reading the novelization. I wish the production team was able to advertise this more directly instead of the quiet release. This series was one of the best ones released in 2023.
