It looks like 3 years fighting at the border has cracked the ice cube. He's still arrogant and is actually able to get provoke CQ's temper with a few sentences now.
Omg I'm LOVING all these moments of Xinger and YWY!!!! I want more!!! And...the part where they were eating,…
I love that scene too.
Part where they start chopstick fighting.
YWY: "I might not be a fussy eater anymore, but I still don't like it when someone else tries to take my things (he referring to the meat here)"
CQ: "When you invited me to sit and eat with you, the food no longer belong to just you."
Continues with the chopstick fight until CQ flicks the piece of meat on the ground.
Since she's going by her real name Chu Qiao hasn't she already remembered who she is? Also in the ep 21-23 where she fights if you look at her hands it looks like she started the remember her old skills already, it's just that she doesn't have the whole picture of who killed her mother, who is Mr. Wu, and her inner powers were still mostly blocked, (ep 18 when she shots the arrow she was able to tap in to them a little) so she's not making it a top thing. Plus her mom's note to her said to find Mr. Wu in Yan Bai where Yan Xun also wants to return too as well, so she probably won't be digging into her past until she either reaches Yan Bai or runs into Mr Wu.
Does anyone else feel like YWY looks better with his hair down then up? LoL. I look his original look in the beginning.…
I'm with GrnGrnTmt, I like his hair up better then down. But I do prefer him in lighter colored clothes this current fitted white outfit is my favorite so far, the black outfits made him look too tall and thin.
I had to drop it. The female victim mentality was too annoying. does it get any better??
Which female character?
If it Chu Qiao yes and no, if it follows the novel she has her ups and downs, but considering the time period (slavery, imperial rule, and later war) and the fact as a love story the writers (script and novel) needs to add angst for our (audience) entertainment, it's to be expected that she'll be subjected to some events that will leave her battered and bruised emotionally and physically, where she'll feel helpless due to events surrounding her. You can't have a heroine raise up without first arranging for her to be trampled on by life.
If your referring to the Princess, yes she will grow into a female version of Yan Xun. Cold. Cruel, and Manipulative due to the fact she is part of the imperial family and therefore remaining sweet and innocent was never a option for her.
If your referring to Chu Qiao's sisters, I don't know, the novel only had one surviving sister and she has a parallel life to that of Chu Qiao where she'll raise from slave to being part of the privilege Noble Class, but where Chu Qiao does it on the battle field, she does it by being what is considered a virtuous female that marries a prince.
Yep, Feng Yun Ling is something just for the series to replace the time travelling from the novel.
I think it's a actual object, I'm watching viet-subs and it translates Feng Yun Ling as a object something like a medallion. And during the bit with the shopkeeper, when CQ lies about where it is she tells the shopkeeper it was given to the 12 clouds sect (can't remember the actual name).
Edited to Add: I rewatched the ep where Yu Wen Yue explains the various spy organisations to Chu Qiao. And if the translation is accurate, he says the pugilist spies use Feng Yun Ling as symbol of their organization, but didn't actually say the name of the organization was Feng Yun Ling. I wished they dubbed this in Cantonese instead of Mandarin, I can't follow along in mandarin as well as I can in cantonese.
The eps on youtube have been removed?? I only see ep 26 and further. I'm in ep 11....
Thanks but I can still watch the viet versions that aren't blocked and they also come out 2 hours after china airs them, plus kisssian has a mobile supported player I can watch the engsubs version on.
Just finished watching ep 26, I'm waiting until Thursday to cont watching, this level of intensity for eps…
I'm still holding strong, I've peeked but no more then 2 seconds. I really want to watch it in one go. 1) because we at a part where cliffhanger like endings at each ep is killing me, 2) I'm already on the last 300mb of my data plan and can't keep watching it on my phone anymore.

I can still get vietsubbed eps 1-25 on some channels, but I get a message that the content is blocked for my country on other channels. But on the official channel they've deleted the videos, people have posted questions regarding the deleted videos in the discussion area on YouTube, but I hadn't seen a answer yet.

Maybe different countries, different copyright holders blocking content?
I'm in the US, if the studio sells the steaming rights to a company in the US, that company can have content blocked for all US Youtube users, even if it on a official channel.
omg am i the only one here rooting for prince Yan to be the one ..I know that's unlikely to happen but can…
In the novel had Li Min De, 3rd aunt's adopted son as the main lead. Turns out he was the long lost prince from a different country. The novel bwt was way more interesting then the series. If I recall correctly a lot of novel fans hated the series because other then a few minor scenes and names there was nothing about the series that related to the novel.
There's so much cruelty, torture and sickness of mind and heart that I no longer see the purpose of this…
Maybe it a way to get the audience to sympathize with Yan Xun, from the earlier eps, people weren't able to connect how Yan Xun and Chu Qiao can fall in love. These eps could be how the bonds form, by helping each other come through some of the bleakest moments in each others life. Granted Chu Qiao faced worst before this but it's still a dark time for her too.
Just finished watching ep 26, I'm waiting until Thursday to cont watching, this level of intensity for eps 25 to 32 needs to be watched in one go, I can't take the daily suspense anymore.
