I honestly do not think it has anything to do with him being hetero, but him losing his brother and fearing losing someone else so close to him would truly break him, so he rather not be close with anyone.

I honestly can't bring myself to be mad at Jae Won < this and for one specific reason: the show made it clear he is in fact truly struggling mentally, has been for quite some time and it's not just "he sad". Like, I can't take characters' struggles seriously when the show itself does not take them seriously. But here we know he is clinically depressed, sees psychiatrist regularly and takes meds + had suicidal thoughts. I hope next 2 episodes they will get back together, BUT with JW opening up to JH about his struggles in more detail and them setting some kind of boundaries. Yes, I want JH to help JW, but I don't want JH to be emotionally exhausted by this relationship himself. JW struggles can be explanation of his behavior and they can honestly talk about the possible situations they might encounter, but it should not be used as an excuse.

It's about internal and not external logic. In his mind he might view is as people who get close to him get hurt - not emotional, but physically: die or almost die and he is never able to protect them. It makes no sense for us, because objectively it makes no sense. It's not like he can predict accidents and it's not like he magically puts people close to him in danger because of cosmic power. BUT when people are in vulnerable state, they might believe in a lot of "illogical" things. And his is for sure not in the right mental state. I appreciate that they made it clear he is not just "sad". but actually clinically depressed and been on meds for quite some time.

That said, I'm not even sure he does it for JJ sake, but rather out of fear and emotional exhaustion. If you are never close to someone, if you never care about them, you will never be hurt like he was when his brother died, and then when JJ had the accident. It's a way to protect himself, and it this case, with them establishing he has serious issues, it makes perfect sense.

We also cannot forget the fact he is clinically depressed, sees psychiatrist regularly and is on meds. For some people depression is not feeling sad, but more like... feeling nothing - be it positive or negative, kind of an emotional void, that is so exhausting. And he said it himself, he was lately in this state when he felt so exhausted he did not even have the energy and will to see his psychiatrist for the prescription.

What Narakswy said, it was clearly showed he has been hiding his feelings and how hurt he is from everyone for years, so him putting that stellar act in front of JJ is not weird.

I also think, he is one step over feeling hurt. He is drained and emotionally exhausted. He is beyond feeling hurt. You feel hurt when you lose something you hoped you can have, but have to give up for whatever reason, while he just gave up everything and everyone and himself.

I'm not fan of the "break up right before the 2 final episodes", but here it does make sense. I'm not really against the trope itself, but rather how overused it is, and how at times the break up happens because of some random bullshit reason.

There are many tropes that are not bad, but we as an audience are just so annoyed and bored with them, because they are used in each and every show, and often they are not written well, so even the proper uses of them make many people uninterested in the show.

But romance is just one of the genres this show falls under. There is also drama and melodrama, so it makes sense there are scenes where the two guys are not together, even many scenes in context of this show and the plot.

and while dead brothers and drowning are rare occurrences by statistic, they are just used as a way to highlight the fear of losing someone you love and pain associated with death overall - which are common and literally everyone will have to face these emotions are some point in their lives. Any specific life situation will be uncommon in terms of comparing it to average life, but all stories use specific situation as a way to present a larger message.

I pity this girl. She has so self love not self respect. To chase after a guy that obviously has zero feelings towards her.

They might become decent rappers when the group disband 😅 they don't have a natural talent for it, so it comes down to a lot of practice and experience for them. But i don't want yo wait a year to hear a good rap on bepler's song 🤣

Nct has a lot of good rappers, and depending on the unit, their songs can be rap dominated.

For me, by now rap is a vital part of kpop. All groups have good rappers and the rap adds to the discography. So it's sad the whole show had close to no rappers.

He is in no1. They only showed Global Votes, and he was ALWAYS been 3rd and 4th in there. But he was always 1st when both global and korean votes were combined. They were "smart" with showing just that he is 3rd in global and not all the votes combined (because he is for sure 1st there) to make people vote for him even more.

Keita for sure will debut. He was always 1st and 2nd in global votes. So even if they won't get him to be at the top of that top9, he will for sure debut.
Zhang Hao will most likely get a lot of votes from the people whose no1 pick got eliminated last time, especially from the Chinese fanbase. I honestly don't think there will be any surprises in top 5, and the real battle will happen for these 6-9 spots.

People forget these were only Global votes, so it;'s highly probably G member was on top. Last two rounds not once was K trainee no1 in Global votes. The only one who got close was Sung Hanbin in 3rd place (just like now).

The no1 was most likely either Keita or Zhang Hao. That said, it did not even matter that Han Bin was truly 3rd, because as I said, it's just Global votes. He was never first in global votes, but he was always first in combined votes. And it's probably the same right now, that's why they decided to show only results from global votes.

i don't know... the only solid rapper is Keita. But then the whole season lacked rappers and they were almost never highlighted in any way, so what did I expect to happen in final lineup 😅

yeah well she has no issue forgiving and pleading for mercy for other evil people and be pissed if they are killed, like the late emperor lol She can be morally strict and react emotionally to all and any death, but she does not. I'm not saying she should start seeing TTJ in a different light and forgive him for all the bad thing. I'm saying she should stop seeing other's people evil deeds as less evil and something that everyone should just forgive and move on lol

It's not even about her wanting to kill him. But she should have the same sentiment about other evil people, which she does not. With her black and white morality, she should not feel bad about the evil ones being kill. Yes, she can still want to kill TTJ but also not be sad, angry and frustrated about other evil people being killed by him ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
