thoughts on why TTJ got dumber with each episode 🤡

When TTJ was weak but smart, they could progress the plot and create issues and him struggling to deal with them simply because he was unable to, because he was weak and his social position was trash. He was able to overcome issues slowly because of his wits despite the lack of power and low position.

But then when he was at the top of the social ladder, fucking king/emperor and not just any peasant, then they struggled to create a tension and issues without making him dumb. Because him being both smart and in power would mean he can basically deal with most issues in efficient manner - so the issues that took few episodes in the show would be dealt with in few minutes 🤡

I think the bone was not the thing that made them connected, but rather just one of the necessary things he need to become Devil God. Now he cannot become one, but it does not mean the connection itself is gone. At least that's how I see it 🤣

He has to at least question things happening around him, because THE SHOW ITSELF ESTABLISHED HE IS PATRANOID AND DOES NOT TRUST ANYONE AND IS CLEVEL lol The show literally presented him as such from the start, and only "turns off" these qualities when they don't know how to prolong the drama and miscommunication in any other manner.

LSS was never established as a smart one lol She did not do any schemes etc. From the start she was established to be more emotional and go with the flow, making a lot of dumb decisions. Hence I have no issue with her making dumb choices, because this is literally how the show presents her from the start.

My complins have nothing to do with EQ and him winning a woman. We literally know he does not trust BC at all and we know HE KNOWS she is lying and will say anything to survive and will never tell the truth willingly. Because he knew and understood her he was able to play her about Xian Lin. But then out of a blue he just wither trust what she said about trying to kill Xi Wu, or does not care why she tried to kill Xi Wu - both make no sense in terms of what was previously established in the show.

Bitch did not had the jade in his eyes for quite some time and not once question how, why and who removed it lol When literally the only person next to him at that time was Xi Wu 🤡

No, the characters make little sense especially TTJ. Best example: Him completely ignoring and not questioning how Bing Chang tried to kill Xi Wu coz of Xiao Lin's death, when she herself sold him off for death few episodes ago. That should be sus enough for him to at least ask questions lol Give her the fucking truth serum whatever it is and get the real answers.

Or rather, he does make sense if we accept the fuck he is not exactly that smart 🤣

Also, fiction still has to be consistent and have internal logic in it. They can't show him get to power and be so smart about all his schemes, but also completely dumb about even less complex issues. If you make your characters dumb just here and there coz otherwise the plot can't move forward or the arc would end too fast, it means the writing is just bad ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love Till the End of the Moon for how entertaining it is, but I'm not gonna pretend like the story presents good writing quality lol

Here's the thing, I am still enjoying it, because it has amazing entertainment value, BUT god I am not emotionally invested at all lol Them being all sad, emo and dramatic and I'm just watching and laughing. Why? Coz I just cannot feel emotionally attached to dumb characters 🤣

For sure. Sometimes changes has to be made. Drama is a completely different medium than novel and not everything can be translated well on screen, but the changes should never made the story and the characters worse 🤡

Like when TTJ finds out Ye Bing Chang tried to kill Xi Wu because "Xi Wu killed Xiao Lin" he should be like: SUS AND LIES BITCH! Because not that long ago Bing Chang literally sold him off herself thinking he will die in the process and could not give less fucks about it.

Characters are truly not giving a fuck about anything and this poor writing in that aspect is legit annoying me now.

My boi TTJ just does not give a fuck and is not putting 0.00000001% of time and power to find out ANYTHING about ANYTHING 🤡

Clearly between the two James had the hardest scenes < he did, and for many he did not deliver believable performance. I'm not giving brownie points to actors because their role was harder. Their job is to act well no matter how hard the role is, and if it's something they are not ready yet to portrayal, they should not take it, or deal with the criticism.

it was clear they asked them to overact < most people say he underact, not overact. His performance was not exaggerated, it felt flat considering the internal struggles and traumas he went through.

I agree with all the writing criticisms. If they had a good character writing, having Uea get reminded of the assault from the past because of the touchy boss would be enough to make it a solid story, without adding the villain mother and crazy ex.

I don’t know why everyone was expecting Hollywood type of acting from a Thai series… it’s literally what all the Thai series are giving, what were you even expecting? < without people expecting more and giving criticism about what we get now, we will never see improvement. Audience needs to be vocal about wanting better quality, for the production teams to give it. Otherwise, they would not put the budget and money into making better shows, if the shitty and cheaper one sell well anyway.

Giving a "realistic" ending when you did not give a fuck about realism up to that point is an A+ 🤡 behavior

So I read the spoiler about the ending after watching episode 2 and completely lost any interest in watching the drama. I am 100% fine and okay with realistic and tragic endings, BUT for fuck sake you cannot make unrealistic in every fucking detail drama and then serve ending like that - it just does not work well.

Not sure I would go as far as saying Han Bin would be the writer and Zhang Hao producer...
Writing speech and writing music - different. I 've written almost 500 reviews, ain't no music writing from me (including song lyrics). And same with producing - playing instruments does not necessarily translate to good producing skills.

omg watch Youth with You 3 - it's a heaven in terms of editing and production (except the unfortunate issue with the finale). The episodes are hella long and more than we usually get in shows like that, that's true - but thanks to that you can truly see most of the trainees and get a lot of footage of them practicing and bonding etc.

Oh I don't think he was a good leader. He was good at controlling, but not with encouraging.
PHan Bin is born to be a leader. He truly ACED the role. He knew how to control and motivate the member to practice, so even if it was a hell, they were grateful for his strict approach. But he also knew how to keep the mood up and encourage trainees if they lose confidence. And what's most important - he practiced with them, every time, he put so much work into it.
