Cho Hyun Min is so charming I get surprised every time he shows up on screen.

It had great start, great potential, but they truly did not manage to rewrite the story to fit the censorship driven drama standards. I read some comments from people who read the novel, and the differences are quite big. I think like by now, China should have a specialized writers who do not write their own content, but mastered rewriting already existing one to fit the regulations while also being good and cohesive.

I agree that the moment Susu fell for TTJ is... not obvious. And it's not even obvious if she truly loved him at any point, but honestly, I would not put it on Bai Lu's performance. Susu was just a mess of a character overall, and it was quite obvious that she is there to support TTJ as THE MAIN character and not enough work was put into writing her with the same level of complexity and consistency 🥲

I feel like the whole point is both Haram and Lee Jun are the extremes in their behavior. Rather than following the trend of more slice of life relatable romances, it's going for the old school over the top rom-com. Shit like Boys Over Flowers: not one moment or scene was close to reality 🤣

Best example - just as Haram's comments on the project were crossing the line and would never happen in workplace, Lee Jun's presentation was also bullshit and would not happen in a workplace. It's true that this presentation was biased and the message was: fuck love - dude did not even try to sell it as a good project that makes sense and would bring profit. That scene was not supposed to reflect the reality of a workplace, but be an easy to understand way to present how different the characters are.

If just the removal was important, she literally could have showed just that and nothing else - not them meeting, not XL dying, not anything lol

Either the whole context of how they ended up removing the bone was important, which would include YBC, or it was not, and then everything else could not be shown either.
