why show XL and his death, but not what truly led to it? π€‘
She and her schemes had more impact on what happened in the past than Xiao Lin and his whole existence hahaha
They made it seem like she was showing the full story, then what... just not the YBC bits? When her schemes had more to do with what happened between TTJ and Susu than XL whole existence? π€£
Even if it was just her memories - she also remembers her confrontations with YBC and how she was the one scheming against XL, how she was the one that poisoned TTJ etc.
Like... it's entertaining af, but it's not a writing piece of art π€£
Susu showed everyone the past life and what truly happened. Wouldn't it mean Xiao Lin would see how much of a nasty bitch Bing Chang is and how selfish she is, and how much evil she caused? Events of the past ever strongly related to her actions and her schemes were one of the bigger motivators to what happened at the end, no way Susu just skipped her involvement lol
So shouldn't Xiao Lin be at least a bit more sus about her in this lifetime? Like bitch legit lied to him about her mortal life - full on bullshit story.
Also, sorry but "I cannot relate to the topic" is such a bullshit reasoning to drop a show hahaha Bitch is on a whole new level of egocentrism, thinking literally the whole country is like him except for Yi Jun lol
Why they are trying to make it seem like the show ain't right. Bitch everyone would watch it lol People who don't date would find it relatable, people who date would hate-watch it lol That would be a hit π
Haram is sooooooooooooooooooo annoying, but sooooooooooooooooooo cute π€£
While I fairly enjoyed episodes 1 and 2, I was not amazed with them. But damn episode 3 was SO GOOD!
I mean... I kind what happened - we are past the context and characters' set-up and getting into the actual story and the main characters interacting with each other in a more neutral and more meaningful setting. AND DAMN THE CHEMISTRY IS GOOD! For both the main and the supporting couple.
This is a rare case where the misunderstanding truly makes sense and them not resolving it right away in the ep also made sense. They are not friends nor lovers. It's a boss and employee. Not going to your boss to spill the tea is not uncommon, especially when you just started working there π So him being this paranoid for no reason makes sense. And the boss not resolving the misunderstanding at first also makes sense for two reasons: 1. he did not even know there is a misunderstanding in the first place. 2. He also does not have much experience in being a boss, still learning, so being more careful on how to handle it was a good choice.
The chemistry tho. Jeng just looking at Pat and I'm like: YESSSSSSSSS!!!!! ππππ
Then we have Jaab and June - oof. Damn. Like it's so obvious June is not in love with his current boyfriend and he starts to see it himself. He is obviously testing if Jaab has any interest in him with the "date" and "hooking up" jokes. But they all know each other so it';s going to be such a delicious mess later on π€£Also, props to Saint coz HE TRULY ACES THAT HAVING CRUSH ACTING SJGFDSKFGBDSKGB!!!!!!!!!
As for the ML... it is sus. It would not be if he got any other job, but for a teacher position one would assume they would want to check his ID π
I like Yoon Young so far, but I also question her so much every time she calls her mom "mom" in the 80'. Is it so hard to figure out and accept she is not really her mom yet, since she is just a teen and has no idea who FL is. She kept acting so creepy π€£
For the killer part, I find that bro of Hee Seop sus for no fucking reason coz he legit was shown for like 10 seconds π€‘
I'm not exactly sold on the story or the characters, but for now I will watch maybe 2 more episodes.
First of all - opening scene was bad. Did such a fucking poor job to set up the mystery and tension π
It's obvious we would have at least a little bit of non-linear storytelling at first, but the transitions between the times were chaotic and weirdly placed. It was not hard to follow, it was just weird.
I like the cast and I hope they will be able to give some good performances that are different from what they did so far (especially Jin Ki Joo since all her roles are hella similar to each other - at least for the mainstream productions).
Visually speaking - decent. Nothing outstanding. Not one shot that got me - damn that's pretty.
Also, for a 16 episodes... they could have taken their time with the set up, and bring FL to the past only maybe half way through episode 2... this does not seem like a 16 episodes story, especially if they will keep up that pacing...
