Have a great day :)
> Juvenile Justice (harsh reality, gray characters, more on the painful sad reality, but needed to be told, with hopeful but realistic conclusion).
> Through the Darkness (character driven, twist to the typical profiler stories that focuses on the psychopaths. Here is focus was how profiling can affect the actual profiler).
> Semantic Error (real sweet completely romance focused short BL to make me happy).
> Hikaru no Go (youth sport drama, focused on the slow character development and striving to improve, wish great cast of supporting characters).
> Blueming (technically a romance show, but deals a lot with insecurities)
> Twenty-Five Twenty-One (realistic approach to first love and overall teen years)
> The Killer's Shopping List (dark crime comedy with some well tackled serious issues).
> Bloody Heart (character driven historical that focuses on the court politics)
Move to Heaven has been on my ptw, I'm waiting for the right mood to watch it in one go😊
JongHo should be an individual character aside from his relationship with FL. That's my point. I don't give a fuck about their romance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ As far as I know there could be no romance, and they could put that screen time into developing him into anything more than just a filler character.
You have issues, because you put some weird world view point into what I said, adding hidden meanings I never put myself.
Perfect example of female driven story that had MLs mostly as the love interested, BUT STILL managed to give them the individuality and personal motivations, and any type of personality - Search: WWW. It's possible, EAW just failed to do that. You can ignore it, I find it frustrating.
And that would be the last reply I am willing to write, because up till now, you misrepresented majority of things I said ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
but I agree, most CGI here was questionable at best 🤣
I just said I have it, nothing else 🙃
I mean, go for it. A lot of people loved or at least highly enjoyed the show, you might end up being one of them. For me it's just personal preference, since the few criticisms it gets are the things I care about in show (if I watch the show for the plot and character and not trash entertainment, coz I do enjoy some poorly written ones too hahaha)
I'm not bragging, as I don't see getting a degree in psychology as something to brag about, in a country that has a free education. I'm just stating that I have some knowledge and experience in the field, so the reasoning of watching the show to learn about ASD is not a selling point for me. You added some weird additional hidden agenda to it.
"so this comment is not about the show, but rather audience reaction to it" I am commenting on the audience reaction (which I witnessed in the comment section) not the show itself, and how these reactions influenced me to not watch the show by the end of the day 🙃
I mean, with your attitude, this conversation is pointless anyway, since you don't really reply to what I say anyway...
I just clarified that the idea of watching the show to get to know ASD is not something appealing for me, since I already have a knowledge in that area ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If the only well written and developed character is the one lead, that's poor writing in my book. Whenever it's a FL or ML (would be just as not interested in the show if it was ML as an only center, and everyone around him a 1 dimensional support).
"if you need a well developed male character to make the female lead interesting," never said it. You are not responding to what I am saying, but what YOU THINK I mean. This is not a way to have a productive discussion.
Character does not have to be a core of the cast to be well written ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't know, maybe I have higher standards or something.
And you just by an accident made me less interested in the show. If best friend gets the same treatment... it's again proves that the only well developed aspect of the show is FL 😅
My first line of the comment literally says - "so this comment is not about the show, but rather audience reaction to it". I'm not judging the show per say, but rather how the comment section presents the show to people who have not seen it yet.
