I wouldn't call YW a "fix it sll" because we had cases they lost and cases YW was ashamed of. It is just where…
Thank you so much for the whole conversation 😊
Have a great day :)

I definitely like the show that make me want to discuss them with others and think about the messages and points it's tries to make. I think the thing I dislike the most, when dramas technically talk about serious topics but without the proper care.

Oh my taste is a complete mess. For example, highest rated shows from me this year:
> Juvenile Justice (harsh reality, gray characters, more on the painful sad reality, but needed to be told, with hopeful but realistic conclusion).
> Through the Darkness (character driven, twist to the typical profiler stories that focuses on the psychopaths. Here is focus was how profiling can affect the actual profiler).
> Semantic Error (real sweet completely romance focused short BL to make me happy).
> Hikaru no Go (youth sport drama, focused on the slow character development and striving to improve, wish great cast of supporting characters).
> Blueming (technically a romance show, but deals a lot with insecurities)
> Twenty-Five Twenty-One (realistic approach to first love and overall teen years)
> The Killer's Shopping List (dark crime comedy with some well tackled serious issues).
> Bloody Heart (character driven historical that focuses on the court politics)

I don't mean "fix it all" plot wise, but criticism to the show wise. If people complain about the lack of character development, the replies are - but YW had character development. If someone criticizes how ML lacked individuality and was poorly written, people say: but he was just a supporting characters, and YW was the main. As if just YW being well written was enough for the drama to be amazing, and all the other issues are irrelevant.

Small correction, I have psychological not medical background (the neuropsychology might be misleading, I know 🤣).

Move to Heaven has been on my ptw, I'm waiting for the right mood to watch it in one go😊

That's because you are replying to things I never said. I never said I want him to have as much depth and development as FL. I said I want ANY. The only way people describe him is "nice and supporting". That's less than what you would good from NPC in games. I expect all characters to be well written, you are fine with just FL being well written. That's the difference.

JongHo should be an individual character aside from his relationship with FL. That's my point. I don't give a fuck about their romance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ As far as I know there could be no romance, and they could put that screen time into developing him into anything more than just a filler character.

You have issues, because you put some weird world view point into what I said, adding hidden meanings I never put myself.

Perfect example of female driven story that had MLs mostly as the love interested, BUT STILL managed to give them the individuality and personal motivations, and any type of personality - Search: WWW. It's possible, EAW just failed to do that. You can ignore it, I find it frustrating.

And that would be the last reply I am willing to write, because up till now, you misrepresented majority of things I said ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2nd episode is not that much better CGI wise, but some later episodes did pretty good job :)

but I agree, most CGI here was questionable at best 🤣

Where that US stuff came from is beyond me 🤣

I mean, go for it. A lot of people loved or at least highly enjoyed the show, you might end up being one of them. For me it's just personal preference, since the few criticisms it gets are the things I care about in show (if I watch the show for the plot and character and not trash entertainment, coz I do enjoy some poorly written ones too hahaha)

I am from Poland 🤣 Way to assume things about a person you talk to. This is why this conversation is useless, because you don't care about what I actually say, you just assume your version of it, that fits your idea oh who I am.

I'm not bragging, as I don't see getting a degree in psychology as something to brag about, in a country that has a free education. I'm just stating that I have some knowledge and experience in the field, so the reasoning of watching the show to learn about ASD is not a selling point for me. You added some weird additional hidden agenda to it.

"so this comment is not about the show, but rather audience reaction to it" I am commenting on the audience reaction (which I witnessed in the comment section) not the show itself, and how these reactions influenced me to not watch the show by the end of the day 🙃

I never said I need a well written male lead to make female lead interesting. I want them BOTH interesting, as individuals, putting the romance aside. So what you said does not represent what I said at all.

I mean, with your attitude, this conversation is pointless anyway, since you don't really reply to what I say anyway...

Happened a few time. There is even a show I dropped, but then picked it up again after 2 years and rated 10/10 at the end 🤣

I don't even know what to reply to this comment 🤣

I just clarified that the idea of watching the show to get to know ASD is not something appealing for me, since I already have a knowledge in that area ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Damn you have issues 🤣

If the only well written and developed character is the one lead, that's poor writing in my book. Whenever it's a FL or ML (would be just as not interested in the show if it was ML as an only center, and everyone around him a 1 dimensional support).

"if you need a well developed male character to make the female lead interesting," never said it. You are not responding to what I am saying, but what YOU THINK I mean. This is not a way to have a productive discussion.

Character does not have to be a core of the cast to be well written ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't know, maybe I have higher standards or something.

thank you for the comment 😊 I think at the end of the day it's a matter of what someone looks for in a show, and what fits their current mood etc. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for a show like that. Who knows, I might check it out in the future :)

But that's kind of proves my point - he is not the focus and does not have a lot of screen time, because it's not a romance driven show. What it tells me - his character has no individuality, and is nothing more than just a side kick to FL. As far as I know, it;'s possible to write side characters well, and give them depth and individuality even with limited screen time...

And you just by an accident made me less interested in the show. If best friend gets the same treatment... it's again proves that the only well developed aspect of the show is FL 😅

I've spent some time reading comments, I thought I might as well share the impression I get from them. There was also an idea that someone might prove me wrong about it - which did not happen...

My first line of the comment literally says - "so this comment is not about the show, but rather audience reaction to it". I'm not judging the show per say, but rather how the comment section presents the show to people who have not seen it yet.
