Well, she did the kicking lol
And I actually enjoy them both. I love how ridiculously emo and overdramatic the main couple is, and I live for So Nyeo Shin making it worse all the time. It's not sad, but it's entertaining.
On the other hand, I love the cliche love triangle with the supporting cast. I've missed the proper typical one for a while, since most dramas now add some over the top setting or exaggerated character traits. These 3 are pretty average and have some angsty tension going on. Fun.
Not to mention, he WAS firm but polite - the first time around. They ignored his wishes, were on the far end of acting disrespectful by following him around (even to his home), secretly taking photos of him and then posting them online framed in their delusional context of shipping. I fail to see why he as a victim in this situation had to be polite to them.
And what's the point of Mork asking the guys to delete the fanpage the first time, when he decided to use them to pressure Pi into being in a relationship with him the 2nd time around instead of calling them out for opening it again lol
How was it rude? He told them once to delete the fanpage coz it's creepy and wrong and he does not like people secretly taking pictures of him and following him around. Then they made the fanpage AGAIN against his wishes. He was extremely polite. I would report them to school administration lol Their obsessive and delusional behavior got people literally threatening to take photos of his bedroom.
Problem is, it is NOT one mistake but pattern of problematic behavior lol From the beginning he fueled the fanpage and saw no problem with it. Even now, that Pi truly was done with everything and was in huge emotional distress, Mork, instead of giving Pi REAL space to figure shit out, decided to play the bullshit "ex-girlfriend" game. And don't even try to tell me it's the friends idea. Mork can say: NO, we ain't doing it. I want to give him some space.
From day one he is trying to manipulate and pressure Pi into being in a relationship with him. Maybe for you it's not toxic, For me it is.
With that, fuck Mork very much. I am welcoming him on the trash list of few BL characters. He is literally scary now.
The fact that he still did not tell Pi he is the online friend is creepy enough and hella insincere. Then there is the whole "using crazy shippers to force him to like me back" and the interview with "he loves me, he just denies his feelings". Bro, what a fucked up thing to do. Take a few steps back and reevaluate your trash behavior.
And then when Pi stood up for himself after his privacy was violated in such a gross way, with people even threatening to take photos of his bedroom, Mork had the audacity to criticize Pi for reacting in such a strong but VALID way? What the fuck is wrong with him?
Props for the writer tho, they are using the problematic tropes in BLs as actually problematic and not as a fun comedy bits. I would not mind them twisting the whole romance into a "how to spot a toxic person and get away from them" deal, and Pi not ending up with Mork.
damn, I dropped it after first episode, it was just tooo all over the place for me to handle hahaha
edit: okay I did find the "banning" information BUT I am still trying to find a translated document to find out specifics. \\ Okay so I am not sure how valid that is. When I reverse google search the image of the "banning" document, it only let me to Korean websites, which would be weird to not have the source be any Chinese media... All the articles are exactly the same and NONE actually translated the document. So I have no idea what's up. It might be true, but I believe more people would talk about it if it was official...
edit2: OMG HAHAHA okay so I used an app to translate the document and it's basically about a specific show's selective process of contestants. They decided to hold off the auditions and selecting contestants because of the new rules. Basically like a week ago The Voice of China did made a statement that they are holding off the auditions and this is the document. And people spreading misinformation like always.
And yeah, I agree with Lisa not being the best mentor, even tho she is an amazing dancer. I will never forget how bad I felt and how bad of an aftertaste I had when she was talking with the translator in Korean when discussing Crayon's team for the position evaluation, and she said quite a lot of harsh stuff. And it never even crossed her mind any of the trainees might actually know Korean. And then Crayon was in a difficult situation when the staff asked him to translate what Lisa said and he had to lie not to discourage others. And Lisa herself knew the shit she said were not good to tell these kids, since when she addressed them, she brought none of the comments she made to translator.
