I DON'T THINK THAT THERE IS A VILLAIN IN THE STORY LIKE A MAN VS MAN TYPE OF CONFLICT. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY MAN VS…
You can support someone in an empathetic way, or kick them when they lay on the ground in pain with the thought "what does not kill you, makes you stronger".
Well, she did the kicking lol

It's like watching two completely separate dramas: 1st, emo teen romance of Dong Kyung and Myeol Mang. 2md, typical rom-com love triangle with Joo Ik, Ji Na and Hyun Gyu.

And I actually enjoy them both. I love how ridiculously emo and overdramatic the main couple is, and I live for So Nyeo Shin making it worse all the time. It's not sad, but it's entertaining.

On the other hand, I love the cliche love triangle with the supporting cast. I've missed the proper typical one for a while, since most dramas now add some over the top setting or exaggerated character traits. These 3 are pretty average and have some angsty tension going on. Fun.

We don't know Mork is the online friend. The friend is played by Pond because that's who Pi is imagining it is.…
Yeah, I think I will pass. It would be pointless for me to explain how Mork's behavior was problematic to someone who says a victim should be polite to their delusional stalkers who constantly violated his privacy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not to mention, he WAS firm but polite - the first time around. They ignored his wishes, were on the far end of acting disrespectful by following him around (even to his home), secretly taking photos of him and then posting them online framed in their delusional context of shipping. I fail to see why he as a victim in this situation had to be polite to them.

And what's the point of Mork asking the guys to delete the fanpage the first time, when he decided to use them to pressure Pi into being in a relationship with him the 2nd time around instead of calling them out for opening it again lol

We don't know Mork is the online friend. The friend is played by Pond because that's who Pi is imagining it is.…
Oh please, it's definitely him. If it was just Pi's imagining Mork, they would just show him fully, and not trying to be all sneaky about it. Not to mention they literally showed Mork message the "flaws" to Pi as the online friend and him almost sending that he fell for Pi. They literally confirmed it is in fact Mork.

How was it rude? He told them once to delete the fanpage coz it's creepy and wrong and he does not like people secretly taking pictures of him and following him around. Then they made the fanpage AGAIN against his wishes. He was extremely polite. I would report them to school administration lol Their obsessive and delusional behavior got people literally threatening to take photos of his bedroom.

Problem is, it is NOT one mistake but pattern of problematic behavior lol From the beginning he fueled the fanpage and saw no problem with it. Even now, that Pi truly was done with everything and was in huge emotional distress, Mork, instead of giving Pi REAL space to figure shit out, decided to play the bullshit "ex-girlfriend" game. And don't even try to tell me it's the friends idea. Mork can say: NO, we ain't doing it. I want to give him some space.

From day one he is trying to manipulate and pressure Pi into being in a relationship with him. Maybe for you it's not toxic, For me it is.

To be fair, Pi asked Mork never to leave him. I think Mork took it a bit too literally, lol! But you're right,…
if I was Pi was would kick Mork in the nuts and cut all contact. Like, dude starts to be legit scary. I'm 100% on Pi's side. Just because Mork likes him, does not mean Pi needs to like him back. and even if Pi likes him back, it does not mean he needs to accept Mork's feelings and be in a relationship with him. For me, what Mork did this episode was crossing the line and showed total lack of respect towards Pi.

One should not weaponize words of someone who was in emotional distress lol He was devastated coz he thought his mother is angry at him being gay lol He was not exactly in an emotionally stable position for anyone to take his words in a face value.

Well... way to ruin a character. There is a fine line between actively pursuing someone when they did not officially rejected you, and just straight up pressuring them into being in a relationship with you.

With that, fuck Mork very much. I am welcoming him on the trash list of few BL characters. He is literally scary now.

The fact that he still did not tell Pi he is the online friend is creepy enough and hella insincere. Then there is the whole "using crazy shippers to force him to like me back" and the interview with "he loves me, he just denies his feelings". Bro, what a fucked up thing to do. Take a few steps back and reevaluate your trash behavior.

And then when Pi stood up for himself after his privacy was violated in such a gross way, with people even threatening to take photos of his bedroom, Mork had the audacity to criticize Pi for reacting in such a strong but VALID way? What the fuck is wrong with him?

Props for the writer tho, they are using the problematic tropes in BLs as actually problematic and not as a fun comedy bits. I would not mind them twisting the whole romance into a "how to spot a toxic person and get away from them" deal, and Pi not ending up with Mork.

As far as I know there is no banning, but there are new restrictions and rules on how these show have to work,…
Well, it goes both ways. Chinese present Koreans in bad light, and Koreans present Chinese in bad light. Tho in Chinese media it feels more like a "ban" on even mentioning Korea. Like, you don't hear contestants being in the past in Korean survival show, but foreign one. They put Chinese ver. of songs even if the trainees were dancing to Korean ones. Lisa was not member of kpop group, but a foreign group etc.

Title Youth with You Season 3 Spoiler
HOLD THE FREAK UP!I just stumbled upon an article stating that the Chinese government has banned all idol survival…
As far as I know there is no banning, but there are new restrictions and rules on how these show have to work, so some tv stations might just give up on these show since they will be too much work. Like, before casting there is suppose to be done a sort of "background" check to find out if the contestant is fitting to be a public figure and has no prior controversies etc. Which is simply too much work to do, at times even impossible to achieve.

edit: okay I did find the "banning" information BUT I am still trying to find a translated document to find out specifics. \\ Okay so I am not sure how valid that is. When I reverse google search the image of the "banning" document, it only let me to Korean websites, which would be weird to not have the source be any Chinese media... All the articles are exactly the same and NONE actually translated the document. So I have no idea what's up. It might be true, but I believe more people would talk about it if it was official...

edit2: OMG HAHAHA okay so I used an app to translate the document and it's basically about a specific show's selective process of contestants. They decided to hold off the auditions and selecting contestants because of the new rules. Basically like a week ago The Voice of China did made a statement that they are holding off the auditions and this is the document. And people spreading misinformation like always.

Review Youth with You Season 3 Spoiler
I'm with you on this. Honestly, I was really sad it's come to this tbh, the trainees deserved better and iqiyi…
As I said in the review, the only thing that is completely on iQiyi is the "keeping fans in the dark" and no closure and final statement.

And yeah, I agree with Lisa not being the best mentor, even tho she is an amazing dancer. I will never forget how bad I felt and how bad of an aftertaste I had when she was talking with the translator in Korean when discussing Crayon's team for the position evaluation, and she said quite a lot of harsh stuff. And it never even crossed her mind any of the trainees might actually know Korean. And then Crayon was in a difficult situation when the staff asked him to translate what Lisa said and he had to lie not to discourage others. And Lisa herself knew the shit she said were not good to tell these kids, since when she addressed them, she brought none of the comments she made to translator.

It's probably because the actress isn't an idol unlike majority of the cast
They should have either cast an idol actress or an actress that is good at dancing. It takes me away from the show and plot when the character is not realistic.

It's Lee Ma Ha suppose to be really good at dancing, like better than other trainees type of deal? Coz her dance with Ryuk during the variety show was quite weak.

Well, you can adapt a novel and it still make it makes sense. They do it all the time with BL novels to censored…
oh I LOVED cinematography too. I took angry screen shot all the time coz I hated the content of the scene, but I loved how the scene looks lol

Review Bloody Romance Spoiler
Well, you can adapt a novel and it still make it makes sense. They do it all the time with BL novels to censored…
Well... it's still dumb. That twist would make sense IF her whole arc was getting away from the assassins and starting new life etc. But nah, she wanted to run the whole sect at the end, ONE OF ASSASSIN. Which makes her a hypocrite, coz she does not want to kill anyone, but she has no problem managing others to go kill people? How does that make sense? And even if we ignore this, she was still poorly written in terms of continuality. As I said, she was one scene hella smart and cunning, and another purely dumb. She was weak and did not know how to fight, next scene we see her fight. All the training happened behind the scene (another bad writing aspect) so for me as a viewer it made no sense how she was able to beat up people who were training for years, when she was doing it for just few months at best. Like, you explaining the plot explains why the show so bad tho. Coz they had to give her all the "good" aspect of the original characters: strength, cunning nature and street smart shit, but with her innocent, don't want to be involve arc, it made no sense she even had these skills.

Lol.... valid points, although I hold a different pov, partly becos I read a few chapters of the original novel…
Well, you can adapt a novel and it still make it makes sense. They do it all the time with BL novels to censored shows, which often are 80% smut, and 20% plot and yet the shows are good (sometimes) lol. That's why I cannot excuse how they did it here, just coz they had to change the original material a lot hahaha
