Again, he did apologize for the diss and he showed with his attitude that he change. There is literally nothing more he can do in this situation.

So the sexualization also comes down to that diss. Which just sounded dumb and ignorant af (the diss). So at the end of the day... it is just that one incident?

I don't believe he should be dragged till the end of his life for that gross (coz it was gross, I'm not gonna deny it) diss track. Especially since he did nothing to even make me suspect he still holds these views now.

That said, if in the future his action will go back to his previous behavior, I will drop him easily, coz that would mean he learned nothing.

You seem informed to let me give one statement and ask some questions (coz I wouldn't even know where to look for answers myself).

About the "dissing idols" part, you said it took him 3 years to apologize, so he was around 18 when it happened, aka young. We all know how rap industry is and what was the perception many rappers have/had on idols. Being 18 you are EASILY influenced and you want to impress and fit into your social circle. I assume that's what happened here. He was dumb and ignorant. He gave a proper apology now, that he matured. He literally could not do it better: he apologized and then learned what it truly means to be an idol by working his ass off in the show, like all the other trainees. Since people he offended themselves accepted the apology (based on the reaction of mentors who are idols and trainees themselves) I don't see how fans should still get offended on their behalf. That's it on that topic.

I have no idea how he was before the show, since I did see him in he show for the first time. Based on how he is now, he must have matured a lot. Not once was he rude or disrespectful. He might have been rude in the past, but again, he was teen, teens are dumb.

To the most important: could you link me some sources of when and how he sexualized minors and the using R word? Coz that's bad. He was one of my favorites in the show, so I would like to know if he did some problematic things in the past.

Don't honey me. The psychopath study is not true, not in the way it was misrepresented here. It was misrepresented so badly, it's basically full of bullshit statement in the show.
Also, if it's only "show honey" why are you so pressed about how characters are written. Practice what you preach.

And this is exactly why I think the drama is bad and why I dropped it on episode 2. Because of all the scientific bullshit. It should switch to fantasy with the claims there were making. The whole premise about psychopath is unrealistic and laughable. This show tried to be gruesome and dark thriller but with the unscientific claims, made itself into comedy.

BUT even going by the "here all psychopaths are killers", it still makes no sense for the mother to have an abortion. Before the kids were born, the research was barely concluded. It was ONE research from ONE researcher against the body of work of years from other researchers. I would not do an abortion either, coz one dude claims all psychopaths will be killers, it's illogical and dumb.

I keep wondering why women in this drama are so bound to family like yes that little baby isn't psychopath but…
Well... I dropped the show so I don't know what's up, but being psychopath does not equal serial killer or anything. Someone who is a psychopath can live fairly normal and successful life. Most psychopath do not go around killing people. Child who was not yet born cannot create any victims. So no one picked the son over a victim (in context of you saying why she did not do abortion).

Well that's my problem. The bullying stopped being the center. They added so many other "crimes and immoral acts" on the table, it was not just the bullying. When bullying would be enough for the revenge plot to happen.

"but by implying what she said we can assume that she hoped that they would understand and repent" no line she said would suggest that was her reasoning. Her attitude was more of: it's not serious enough for us to take this case. and only AFTER she saw they had some connection to the gangster guy she said it's more than just immature teenagers behavior. Which would suggest that everything she saw and heard before she classified as "immature behavior".

Also, this was not a way to make the bullies understand. By the end they did not understand their wrongdoings, nor did they feel bad. They barely remembered the victims. They "accepted" the punishment out of fear not guilt. Not to mention none of the adults involved was truly punished, which was also a joke. I was a victim of bullying, and I honestly felt much more resentment towards adults than the teens that were bullying me.

Am I the only one who thinks that the “revenge” on the bullies is a bit too overboard? I mean those kids were…
The whole episodes were overexaggerated for the show and "entertainment" value. Do I think the punishment was too strong? For the fictional aspect, not really. Is it a long period effective? No lol I mean, they did not learn shit from it, but rather now have even more build up anger inside, also fueled by fear.

What annoyed me was the fact close to no adults were punished, when they were as guilty as the teens. The homeroom teacher should be beaten up and get his leg broken, at least. The parents of the bullies should get their fair share of shit. And the principal. Coz with the way they showed it, the adults were not guilty and made it seem like they didn't know how excessive it all was. Which is such a joke I cannot.

I actually strongly dislike how they handled the bullying topic. First of all, they used the most excessive way possible to make the bullies truly seem evil. And sure, I could deal with it. But then they added other aspects to it: having shady business with some gangster, illegal drinking and smoking, trying to get him fired. They truly tried to make the teens look as if they have no redeeming qualities and are evil, as a way to excuse the punishment inflicted. As if bullying was not enough.

But what annoyed the the most were Go Eun's remarks. First her questioning the validity of the case, when it does not differ in severity from the last one. She literally just heard how the boy was abused and even push on the street and got his leg hurt, and she was like: do we have to go after teenagers? Excuse me, but how is their behavior different from the criminals from the first two episodes?

Then she was "surprised" how they don't feel guilty partying with a stolen money. Girl, you know they are almost daily beating and physically assaulting their classmates - partying with stolen money is a minor thing compared. You are focusing on some weird shit here.

and then she went with "that's beyond just being immature teenagers" when she saw them giving money to the gangster. As if everything she knew before was a "immature teenagers behavior". Bish, beating up your classmates and assaulting them and both physically and psychologically torturing them is not being an immature teenager either.

Yeah, I am quite honestly not a fan of episode 3 and 4.
Two minor things that made me laugh: first of all no teenage boy would be using Internet Explorer hahahaha + he has some supernatural healing skills, coz after that motorcycle accident his bones would be crushed. he took that plaster off fairly quickly.

Honestly speaking Lelush not getting eliminated each round killed my joy of watching the show. Especially with the newest episode, how they showed him pass right after Hanjiang got eliminated.

People who vote for Lelush as a way to help him gain recognition for his design stuff are delusional and need some reality check. He is a grown up, not a child. Who the heck do these people think they are to ignore him CONSTANTLY asking not to vote for him and let him leave. He has way too much trust in his founders. If they respected his wishes, he would be out on the 2nd evaluation. I'm just praying this poor dude will not be stuck in a 2 years contract if he debuts, coz that will legit ruin his mental state.

guys a media reported in china that when Lelush found out that his rank is really close to the top 11 he cried…
Even if this is not true. Even if he was not THAT angry and he did not cry, people should still freaking respect his choice and not vote for him.

Honestly, if I was him I would be depressed and feel like shit. I would feel like I'm stealing someone's spot and making it harder for others to achieve their dreams. Even tho this is not his fault, it's hard not to feel angry and guilty in a situation like that. This must be truly emotionally exhausting.

People say that these shows are heartless, but then themselves be acting like that and keeping a dude in for a joke, even tho it means one less person can fight to achieve their dreams.

DID does not work like that. You cannot switch and control when your personalities come out. It all must have been deliberate act he had, and the fact I don't know why and when exactly he started it annoys me a bit lol Sure I can make my own theories about it, but I want a canon information.

I kinda disagree with the first one, though. “Good is good while bad is bad” was never even once highlighted…
I never thought Han Ki Hwan saw himself as this righteous person but rather someone with huge ambition who would do anything to achieve it. It was not on the side of: I am doing bad things (mistakes) but I am bringing more good. I saw it as: I have this almost perfect life I wanted, I'm gonna silence anyone and everyone who might want to try to ruin it. He was not nearly as interesting as it may seem. They never shown him doing anything righteous nor good, trying to do a good job as a high ranked police officer, for me to think it was all him seeing himself as a good for the good stuff, compared to bad because of his one mistake in the past. But that's my take on it.

From all the characters, the least "evil" and with depth was Do Hae Won, since they nicely played the "is she doing it for her son, or is she doing it for herself" act. Up till the last confession scene, it was not that obvious.

I'm not saying in this drama, but rather all dramas.
But here the characters that broke the law and broke moral principles for their own gain were at the end the culprits, and the ones that were acting morally gray for the justice/good of others were at the end not involved in the crime (or at the level that could be ignored).

For me, having Jung Je actually be the killer would be far more interesting and out of the box. But they went with the safest possible scenerio on who was the killer.

For me, it was clearly the other way around from the start (even without the flashbacks showing him acting "normal" in the past). He used the weak persona to get away with his crimes, but this scenerio is quite unrealistic. It would work maybe in a big city, where everyone is more or less anonymous and the close bonds among people living in the same area are rare. But here... everyone knew each other well enough to be able to notice something.

And while DID with a smart person having personality with developmental problems could happen, it's rather improbable the other way around. If the brain is not developed enough, it's impossible to create a persona that is developmentally further than the brain itself.

I agree and disagree at the same time. About your first point you are right, even though I didn't mind since all…
The daughter did say that he should drop the act etc. She definitely knew. I would love to know what's up with his character. Keeping an act like that is amazingly hard and exhausting. With him interacting with many people all the time, with good half of them being police officers... I just can't buy into the idea no one noticed for years. And when did he start? How it happened? There are many questions left about his character and his background...

yeah the hearing was never properly addressed, but honestly it did not bother me that much. It's not the weirdest thing I have seen in a crime show. Some were easy to explain (like him standing close to a window etc), but some truly would requite supernatural hearing hahaha

Two plot points that made me lower the rating from 10 to 9.5 were:

> The explanation for the accident that got Dong Shik’s sister dead. It was such a safe way to conclude the story: the good guys are good, the bad guys are bad - no novelty there. My excitement for the show dropped quite a bit after we got that answer.

> Jin Mook’s character. First of all, I have found him pretending to be developmentally challenged for years, quite ridiculous. The fact no one picked up on the act for so long (except for the daughter) was simply unrealistic. Not to mention… we didn’t really get an answer when he started it and why. He was a big part of the plot, so the fact his character was never truly explained disappoints me a bit.
