Title A Tale of Thousand Stars Spoiler
Interesting theory! But, as I remember it (please correct me if I got it wrong), Tian was in the hospital at the…
Pretty sure the badminton scene was how he got diagnosed with the heart problem and they said he needs the surgery. While the transplant surgery happened right after the race. When they get him to surgery room he is wearing the same shirt he was wearing in the casino and before the car race.

How was his directing job bad? (I'm genuinely asking, I'm curious to read other opinions)
It felt like a one take self made video. Mostly just still camera with angles changed just few times. At times it was also extremely shaky. There was not focus on any detail. When they were kissing, the camera was literally in their faces, way too close, it made me feel like I'm watching home made soft-porn.

It just felt like there was not much thought put into planning what and how they want to present. What should be the focus of the shot, what it should represent.

At the end, the acting was good, but the directing did not compliment it at all. Compare it even to the lunch scene. How the camera cut from Shu Yi to Shi De. How we saw the build up of emotions with the shots of Shi De typing faster and stronger as he can't focus and control his emotions. None of these details and plan of directing was seen in the sofa scene. It was like: you do the acting and we will just stand and film it from like 3 different angles and try to edit it later.

I know a lot of people feel bad for Tian, and I get that since we mostly observed him as his "new self" that is caring, loving and selfless. But whenever it was his car or the other dude's he was racing with car that hit Torfun, Tian is still at least partially responsible for her death, since it was his idea to race in the first place. At least partially, because of his irresponsible behavior in the past a good person died.

Unless they will tell us in the future episodes that Tian had literally nothing to do with the accident and the car race was not the reason she died. But that's just bad writing, so I hope it's not going this way lol

Title A Tale of Thousand Stars Spoiler
I don´t think that Tian killed the teacher, i think that it was the one he was racing with and he doesnt remember…
but the police investigation (as stated in the article) said it was the car with his plate number.
Even assuming it was not his car, he is still partially responsible, since he was the one to even suggest the car race in the first place. So it's not like he is blameless here.

Who is the killer? God fucking knows.
What I know is the fact the police apparently did not take statement from Jin Mook after his daughter was kidnapped and her fingers were found. If this is not the most ridiculous and shitty police work, I don't know what is.

Well.. for each their own. It took me 2 hours to finish first episode of Mouse with the amount of incorrect and dumb ideas presented in it, while I was glued to screen while watching BE.
Mouse is more plot driven, BE is character driven. I myself prefer slow burn character driven shows.

Title I Can See Your MBTI Spoiler
MBTI was derived from Carl Jung's theory of Cognitive Functions. In his theory, we have four main functions: the…
The test was NOT initially created based on whatever dominant functions you are talking about. I'm questioning validity of the test. you cannot half way through change and re-do the theory to the point it's not recognizable.

Most articles that "support" Myers–Briggs were written and published in association with Myers-Briggs Foundation and independent studies were extremely critical about it. As a scientific method it's close to zodiac signs. The authors had NO training in understanding psychological theories or how psychological tools should be created. They had less than basic understanding of psychology as a study field.

They completely ignored THE MOST IMPORTANT step in creating any theory or test based on that theory: validation and research. They made a theory without checking if it express in reality - guess what, it doesn't. That's why Myers–Briggs is not taken seriously in scientific community. Coz it fails all scientific criteria to be taken serious.

ohhhhh..... I totally missed the switch in narration (this is what happens when you watch an episode in the middle of the night with low volume audio hahaha).
Well then, scrap my idea hahaha

The first episode was super intense and interesting, but the idea of a "criminal gene" is complete nonsense. They…
they use psychopath and serial killer as synonyms.
The idea that "removing" psychopaths would lead to crimeless society is such a joke, it makes the whole premise of the show seem dumb...

Everyone wished Eunwoo to play suho role thats how he took that character and drama was hit too he is now 2nd…
Listen, I am a big fan of Astro and I love Eunwoo as idol and I think he is amazing entertainer, but his acting is not his forte. Being critical over something is not the same as spreading negativity.

One of the reasons I dropped Rookie Historian was Eunwoo's performance, which for me was not strong enough. And while you could argue it's just me and my taste in acting that is a problem, Eunwoo faces quite a lot of criticism about his acting, not just from me.

Also, do you have problems with reading? My initial comments clearly suggest the problem were his roles not necessarily his acting.

Did I like 2nd episode? Yes. Tho I was not as crazy about it as episode 1. I hoped it would be more focused on the industry and the behind the scenes of it and less... grocery shopping? I kind of wanted it to be us viewing BL industry via the eyes of someone how has no interest in it, even tho they are forced to be part of it: Gene. Tho, there will be more of it in future episodes I guess, so that makes me excited! He was invited to observe production as a way of gathering information for his new BL novel after all.

Last scene tho, oof. Nicely done. I honestly LOVE the narration added. Such an amazing idea to give us better understanding on what was Gene feeling when it was happening. BUT that said, get ready for me describing how I would direct the scene, coz that white screen was annoying lol

Cue: Kate the Director

Basically scene goes the same as in the original up to the "fade to white" moment - scrap that. The kissing scene continues and they add narration to it. Right before the last line rolls in, we get "fade to black" screen, so the last line is the only thing seen/heard on screen (the lines about him not wanting to stop to not get out of the character). The fade to black turns into either a/ shot of the computer screen with the previous narration shown b/ Gene's hands on keyboard indicating he was just typing that c/ both scene one after another. Then we get wider shot of Gene sitting still kind of in daze (as he was just reliving the kissing via his writing basically). Then he relaxes a bit leans on the chair back and that's when he touches his lips. End of the episode.

I feel like doing this the way I said would make the transition smoother and less in your face. When the white screen showed up I legit was like: the fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck is going on lol It just didn't feel connected. "my way" we would have smoother transition between reality and what is happening between Gene and Nubsib and Gene's writing. I don't know... I think continuing the scene without the cut makes more sense than starting the scene, stopping it in quite rigid way, and then restarting it with narration and mixing scene of Gene's writing in.

So, that would be my vision based on my non-existing directing skills ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am 100% preparade for the fact no one will read that and I'm taking to an "empty void" hahahah

me myself just finish watching the show and 100% agree with your opinion. wtf happen. i like how it's cute, but…
Some viewers tried to excuse it as satire but it's ain't that. None of the people involved in production label it as such, and the source material was not satirical novel either. It's just poorly written show that went too far on jokes based on stereotypes and sensitive topics.

Jisoo could have been bully. Or he could have not been on.
The victim could have been a victim, or could have not been a victim.
We don't know that since there was no prove beyond "someone said something, and someone denied".

Also, I quite dislike this article (and majority of articles about bullying topics recently) coz it brings more harm than good. The article states "He also shared evidence of him attending the same school." so why is that proof not included? (talking about the original source articles, since this is mostly translation I guess?). Where did they share it? What was the proof? Did anyone verified that? Is there any other proof? Just coz two people were going to the same school does not mean much. News outlets are so f****** lazy I cannot. All they do is going through social media and looking for cases that will sell well, but they don't actually do the work to find out anything beyond online post.

Don't call the alleged victim a liar, don't cancel Jisoo just yet. Freaking wait for more information (if we will even get any). The only right answer to the question: Was Jisoo a bully? is I DON'T KNOW.
It's okay to not know until you have enough information to base your opinion on.

Most drama roles are not demanding. They are shallow cliches more or less. Not exactly HBO in its prime.
Well i tried to give him some excuse. That maybe his unconvincing performance was a result of how flat the roles were written and he can do better in different roles. But if they are all not demanding, no excuse for him, since other actors his age are giving better performances in these not demanding roles.
