Fantastic review! It had everything I wanted to say, I don't need to write a review then
I was getting anxious AF writing it. Like I legit wanted to cry it was so frustrating to write that. Coz how can words describe how amazing this show is?

damn you write the first pros in some poetic way hahaha I 100% agree with "Rivals are not toxic and selfish." The scenes between the "exes" were my favorite from last episodes. Truly mature way of handling the situation from teens like them (which also made me frustrated with male leads that much more lol).

Thank you for the review ;) and you are not shallow! ;p

Review I Told Sunset about You Spoiler
^_^ Yeah Teh used to annoyed me so much too. I was mostly in it for Oh-Aew, but I also had to remind myself that…
They are going to university. They are young, but that that young. Some decisions they made just amazed me lol

Also, I was truly angry at Teh for giving up his place at uni for Aew. If I was Aew I would NEVER be grateful I would think that Teh thinks so little about me, that she doe snot believe I can get in on my own, that I'm that dumb and useless. + I would feel SO GUILTY after he did not get in, even tho it was his choice that I had nothing to do. Teh was just too selfish of a character for me liking hahaha

Great review! It explain very well the overall concept of the production, useful to someone like me who didn’t…
Glad you read and liked, even tho you will never watch it lol

I haven't really watched this but dropping by here because I was curious after seeing a recent review I saw on…
It must have been a troll. They literally created the account just to write that review. It happens in BL fandom (and other fandoms, just less). Fans of one show will write "fake" reviews to lower the rating for other shows.

Title Like in the Movies Spoiler
I really don't like her either. She's everything an ally should not be. This show tackles a lot of real problems…
I understood her character completely differently. As I see it she created this over the top persona of "hyped ally" as a defense mechanism. She feels extremely guilty for how she treated Vlad when she was younger so she tries to compensate the past now. But she went from one extreme to another. It's visible in the episode 6 I think, when Vlad and her are talking, how she drops the persona for a minute and the fake accent etc and speaks in more natural way.

As for cornering Karl, it was extremely shitty thing to do, but I am sure she saw talking with Vlad as pointless. She wanted to make sure Vlad will be able to live in a happy open relationship and won't be pushed into closet again by having secret relationship, as he just got his heart broken for exactly that reason (he was in a relationship with someone who was not ready to come out). What would Vlad do in the conversation? He would say he is going to wait, as he did talking to Karl's uncle. He wanted to call off the special event. I was extremely angry at her, but it lessen with the ending of episode 7, when I saw how heartbroken Vlad was, as this was exactly what she wanted to avoid happening. When talking with Karl, she did not care about anyone else exactly from Vlad. And honestly, even tho I would handle the situation differently than her, at the end of the day I would put my family 1st, and others 2nd any time.

I think she was extremely needed to point out more of Vlad's situation, as he himself would not do it, he would be willing to sacrifice himself for Karl. But their situation is quite shitty, if I must be honest. Either one would have to come out of the closet tho he is not ready, or the other have to "go back to closet" since he would have to pretend there is nothing going on between them.

Karl has the right to come out when he is ready, but Vlad has the right to love and be loved openly as he already came out. That's why it's so heartbreaking... coz none of them is wrong and yet it's impossible to work it out quickly.

Actually...I really don't understand why Tharn wants to marry Type. A piece of paper really isn't that important.…
Not in Thailand since I think gay marriage is still illegal, but marriage overall is far more than just a paper. Best example: if one of the people get's into accident, without marriage certificate and them being in a formal relationship, the other person cannot even get any information about the state and health of the other person. In case of death, if there is no testament, the partner does not get anything as he is not related to the dead person in any way. Adoption? Close to impossible without marriage. There are many things for couples that are easier if they are married.

Not to mention, if it's just a piece of paper and nothing else, then why Type does not want to get married. As it's "not big deal" and does not change anything. It goes both ways.

I know he didn't intend to kill his son, but the problem was how conveniently he was there to die xDand this confirms…
Lee Hyuk was a coward. The initial shooting makes perfect sense. Most people would start shooting just like him as your thought is: if I don't kill them first, they might kill me instead. That's why it was such a dumb idea to even take him on the mission in the first place lol

I was far more surprised he went to see the other dude in the hospital before getting him killed, as he seemed to avoid getting personally involved lol

Okay I can totally answer why he killed everyone in 1997 and then tried to kill everyone present times (tho he never wanted to kill the son, he was not suppose to take part in the last mission).

Lee Hyuk broke under pressure and shot first the NK guy. It was a mistake that should not happen (it was his first on field mission, so he legit had no idea how to deal under pressure). The exchange of the fire happened. After all NK guys died, the dad of ML said he will report how it truly happened (aka the female NK researcher wanted to go to SK, Lee Hyuk opened fire first, soldiers died). This would literally end Lee Hyuk's military carrer. As greedy as he was, he decided to kill ML's dad and everyone who was not willing to lie about what happened. This way he became hero etc. So it wasn't really about the baby. He didn't want his mistake to be known.

In the present times he wants to kill everyone in the team coz 1. all of them saw the original video of the events from 1997, some of them even knew about the tape itself (ML lol). He knew they would try to find out the truth (especially ML since his dad was the victim of the whole situation). Hence he had to kill everyone who was even slightly connected to the 1997 case. Reinvestigation happening (even if they would not find out the truth) would ruin his presidential campaign. So we was willing to kill everyone just to make sure it will not happen.

Agree on all. I was one of those who criticized the format right away cause I know my k-writers and their fillers.…
yeah. I enjoyed the romance coz the awkward dad like Do Hyun gave it this small funny edge for the teen love triangle between the younger cast. But overall... damn there were so many boring and useless scenes.

I picked your Extraordinary You's article instead of Stages of Dropping Dramas, that's okay, right? Cos I think…
totally okay haha
as for the psychology articles, I lost motivation to write them. To make them good I would have to rewatch too many shows so it would take too much time hahaha I'm that lazy.
Cho Na Nov 11, 2020
Definitely amazing idea for an article. I tried to check some older articles, but since there are SO MANY it's easy to miss some true gems.

I wrote only 2 solo articles and they both were written on impulse to some extend. Especially the "Stages of dropping dramas". I was in the middle of writing 2 other articles (related to psychology in dramas) when the idea came, so I dropped the other articles, and sat to write this one right away hahaha

Except from that I co-wrote 2 articles and was an interviewee for one about reviewers (truth to be told, I am for sure more a reviewer than an articles writer). I have to say, writing articles with others is always fun, since you have at least twice brian power to make something fun and special :)

Review House of the Disappeared Spoiler
The loop had no beginning so the whole plot could not have happen. There was no point at which the loop started. The whole story is circular. That is a reoccurring problem in a shows and movies dealing with time travel so I will give it a pass :)

Thank you for your reat review. I can feel your angst. Just like you I don't understand how the couple's communication…
they for sure did not show enough of them later on. They were great couple, and then they were not. And since we did not have enough time with them on screen, we weren't able to truly witness them falling apart to the point of breaking up.
