It's not that. some of my top favorite characters were the nicest of the cast. I think they just failed to present her as a character for me. For example: she is really smart and can quickly think how to deal with problems, but that set up was not strong enough for me. We had one scene of her doing that.
I do like her more in the 2 newest episode, but she was a fail of a character for me in all the previous ones. And since the other characters were presented well and in consistent manner, I blame the writer for it.

Seo Dal Mi is literally the only truly nice character on this show, with the least amount of flaws, and yet I like her the least...

He treats them as adults, I would not call him toxic. they are not children. If they want to succeed they need some hard lessons. Everything he told them was truth: Do San sucks at being CEO, they have a product but NEVER bothered to even think how can they sell it and where the profit would come from, hence for years they were not able to get investors. I am far more annoyed with how childish Yong San and Cheol San act. Do San is a bit better since he is willing to listen and learn but even him, asking for advice but when he gets it, he is annoyed.

yes. for the show that was suppose to show and growth and development of the characters, they barely showed anything from her. I guess the show was far to focused on Hye Joon only...

That's just lazy writing tho. To introduce a character who has such a complex relationship with the main one and not explore and explain it enough and just randomly use it to give the FL "realization time". It just wasn't well built into the overall story.

I am dropping dramas with no problems, even 8 minutes in episode 1, if they don't feel right.

I was just truly excited for True Beauty drama, and the casting disappointed me. And I'm not judging the whole drama, I'm judging that one casting for the FL. Even if the drama will be awesome, it will not have the same strong message as webtoon for the fact female lead is so beautiful. And one of the reasons I liked the webtoon was that message. So it's given I will be less than happy with the casting.

Truth to be told, for the first 3 weeks of airing I was obsessed over this drama and was recommending it to everyone on Feeds. but after that... it just never led to anything and no plot line had any meaning :(

I honestly feel bad for Da Jung. It doesn't matter that "young" Dae Young is her ex-husband but in younger body. For her, the kid friend of her son just kissed her. I would be grossed out if I was her. One of the reasons I appreciated the slap that followed.

The ending just felt lazy. The "x years later" type of ending usually annoy me. It's like the writers had no idea how to clean the mess they created so they go with "time will heal everything" and just make all the problems magically disappear in the time jump

I truly believe the worst part of the show was the fact all the events that happened had no consequences whatsoever. Everything was just forgotten in a few days... even the big problems like Charlie, investigation and the suicide...

I don't remember much from it (I don't even have it rated on mdl) except from the fact I enjoyed it a lot. I think it;s time for a rewatch :)

the whole breaking up 2 eps before the last ep is such a normal thing in kdramas I rarely ever react to it. I just assume it will happen and ignore it hahaha

I actually enjoyed the show a lot and the plot was for sure fun and entertaining. I still believe
Kim Yoo Jung was slightly miscast since she is and looks younger than the rest of the cast. Every time one of the guys called her noona I cringed badly lol

But the chemistry between the leads was reaaallyyy good :)

yes hahaha I mean it was on 6.5 (not really high in my standards) but it;s above average, and since it has so many problematic tropes I thought I should go lower hahaha

the "when Tharn fell in love" was something I was questioning myself.
I guess they were friends before Type found out Tharn is gay, but why they did not show it? It was like 2 minutes flashbacks and that's it. Which means we were never shown when and how Tharn fell for Type and that's why it was hard for me to grasp and understand his character.

same. Literally my first thought after finishing WYEL was "wow what a good fanfic" lol
