Honestly, after 4 episodes, I only like the side characters hahaha
I like how annoyingly confident Choi Chang is and how ridiculously committed to her job Bo Mi is. I like these two.

Okay now you're making me want to watch it ;w;
I have no idea why I liked it so much, but I did. Seo Jin Goo did amazing job, that's for sure

She spent 5 years in medical school, at least 3 in residency (don't know how many exactly are there in Korea,…
It's not about her character and her incompetence, it;s about the fact her set up is ridiculous. I have quite a few friends in residency and some who work as fellows in different specializations, they all either assist or do simple surgeries all the time. It would be impossible with her specialization for her to never do that. She could have an excuse once or twice but after that someone would react since she is simply a problem for the hospital (what if she fell asleep as she was performing medical treatment in OR? Or puke all over the cut open patient? That would be HUGE problem for the hospital.). So with how greedy and "safe" in their practice they are in Geodae Hospital, her getting so far in medical practice is simply not realistic. That's it. Her character does not make sense in the setting the writers created themselves.
They hate how risky Teacher Kim is, but have no problem risking reputation of Geodae by keeping a doctor like Eun Jae? That's my problem. They could have EASILY just introduce the problem later on in her practice. Show that in the past she did amazing job, then for example she "lost" the patient she was assisting in surgery for and blamed herself and that's why she has somatic symptoms based on psychological problems now.

wait... why did the last frame say that daechi high isn't hiring anyone this year?
Since they were not able to pick between her and the other teacher, they decided to not hire anyone. Ha neul is probably again hired as a temporary teacher.

I would strongly disagree about Cha Eun Jae and I think that it is too early to judge her character. She is not…
She spent 5 years in medical school, at least 3 in residency (don't know how many exactly are there in Korea, but for sure not less) and is on 2nd year as a fellow. With her problem she would not be able to finish residency in the 1st place. This is the biggest problem. The setting for her is as unrealistic and not possible in real life, as it can be. If she was on her 1st or 2nd year of residency I could buy that. How is she in 2nd year of cardiac surgery as a fellow, when she clearly never assisted in any surgery from what they showed in the drama? And I am sorry but I don't see how her problems can be an excuse of her risking other people's life and well being. It's not a mistake, it's medical negligence. If they will not explain how she got so far in her medical practice without assisting in the surgery and doing one, it will be a drop in rating for me for sure.
Of course you can disagree, but I would love to see someone explain, how her setting is even possible.
That said, thank you for reading the article and sharing your opinion :)

Ah i think that medicine is merely candy
It may help but I am curious how they will tell her it was a placebo, coz that might backfire. With some people their symptoms get more severe after finding out, coz they start to feel like people close to them were lying to them, and it only makes the anxiety stronger. Highly doubt they will go this way, but it's something that happens at times.

not a problem :) For me it's extremely good drama, 10/10 but from what you wrote, it's not exactly what you are looking for :)

Title Dr. Romantic Season 2 Spoiler
there is a difference with a doctor who has issues and is working through them, and the doctor who is putting…
How she reacts is realistic, that's true. BUT how everyone else reacts is ridiculous. The thing is, anything bad happens in the surgery, it;s not only her who gets blamed, but the whole hospital so it is everyone's problem. Since season one, they clearly showed that in Geodae Hospital they don't want anyone who might cause trouble and ruin the business so I refuse to believe they would risk so much keeping her in the hospital. Any malpractice accident happens, it would ruin the hospital coz it's not about just making a mistake, it's about putting patients in danger why letting her operate on them.
Also, it's 100% different situation having panic attacks in a psychological field (also there is so many different jobs in that area, saying psychological field tell no one anything about the job you are doing). Even if someone would pass out during the therapy it's more often than not not life threatening situation , while in a surgery it's ALWAYS life threatening.
Anyway, they established that in Geodae Hospital they care about connections and money, so why would they keep such a high risk doctor when he won;t bring them much money since she can't do operations, and has no connections?
Maybe in any other situation I could understand how this whole situation could happen, but it makes no sense in the world and reality created by the writer. They are breaking the rules they created themselves.

They do not take it as seriously as it is. Obviously it's not enough to go see therapist once ot twice, I know, I'm finishing my studies in clinical and neuropsychology, but the problem is they are not even trying to solve it. She wasn't send to Doldam coz of her problems, but because Teacher Kim wanted her. It's not like it would even be suggested as an alternative for her, if it wasn't for his request. For a medical drama to go so "easy" on a mental health problem is a bit ridiculous, since psychology is getting closer to medical field every year. She has either run out of or fall asleep at least 3 times, as far as we know. Something should have been done the 1st time around since it's not only about her health, but people she is suppose to help. She cannot take part in a surgery, how is she even 2nd year fellow when she would probably not even be able to finish her residency with the problem she has? It just annoys me how unrealistic her set up is.

It's hard to watch a negative representation of the U.S. I get it, and I also agree with it, but still, it is…
Ask yourself this question: do all Americans think all Russians are just gang and mafia members? Or all Eastern Europeans are involved in a human trafficking? Probably not, right? There is a lot of bad representation of other countries in a Hollywood movies yet it's not like all Americans take them seriously and as a facts. It's the same with different countries. It's not like it's enjoyable for me to watch Polish people being usually represented as a criminals or someone worth working as a house cleaners only in US movies and tv shows, and this is what happens. But it never crossed my mine that Americans can think of all Polish people as such.

I really like school dramas (i.e., those about teaching), but I feel school kdramas mostly focus in everything…
This drama is about teachers and not students. We get to know only 2 students with a bit of a greater depth but it;s still connected more to the teachers. This is more of a politics and there is not much of teaching, and even the teaching and how they do it, is there to further the politics of the school as an institution and business. It's a great drama, but I would honestly not call it a school drama but rather just a life/politics drama that is set in school.

I've seen a few episodes of S1 (put it on hold as I was distracted by those awesone youth cdramas) and as I understand…
there is a difference with a doctor who has issues and is working through them, and the doctor who is putting her patients in danger and does NOT care about it at all. She literally fall asleep during the surgery, and what she does the next time? Take double the amount of the pills that made her fall asleep before the next surgery. With actions like that there is no rehabilitation is real life, rather taking away her licence. Also I think majority of people (me included) are annoyed that literally no one is taking it seriously and talking about it. So many people knows about her condition and no one even mentioned: maybe go see a psychiatrist? or lets run some test. Like, no one is even trying to fix the problem...

If there will be any, I'd say maybe Go Ha Neul and Do Yeon Woo. It's really slightly hinted and like really slightly.…
You assumed they asked about the romance coz they want it. Maybe the asked coz they are searching for a drama without one.
I my eyes if they go for a romamce i will not be disappointed, and if they won't go, i won't be. Eitherway it's just small portion of a bigger more complex plot.

It think that its is his private stuff soo please delete this.
Speculating about someones sexuality when you know nothing and they never talk about it in public or in interview is one thing and it bad, but if he himself was open about it, talked about it in interview there is no reason why no one cannot even mention it. He made it public. It's not like anyone id disrespecting him based on his sexuality. People just asked if anyone knows what his sexuality is. some celebrities are open about it some not. If I was gay and open about it, but people around me would try to put me back in closet coz "it's disrespectful to mention it" that would piss me off. Of course I am me, and Mew is Mew.

I don't think TharnType can have a higher vote, being the story and the charachters so complex and controversial…
The way she phrased her sentence sounded like she is calling everyone who rater it low hater, and that would be ridiculous. If it's just about the few actualy haters, fair enough. I just wanted to point out not everyone who disliked the drama and rated it low is a hater.

Review TharnType
The people thinking Tharn is sweet is why I had to write the review. I mean, the writing is inconsistent so there…
exactly. While the realizm can leave the room and I can still enjoy the drama, I cannot accept romanticizing sexual abuse and the magic healing of mental trauma with blowjobs. When people said that Type resistance in shower scene was not that strong and he did enjoy it at the end, I was amazed with how their brain works. There should not no resistance at all! If there is any, the scene should end and Tharn should back off. How much resistance is enough for those people, when no mean no? "They enjoyed it at the end" is one of the reasons some rapists don't go to jail.

Review TharnType
YES TO ALL. More or less we have the same views on the series, tho I expressed them in less "classy" wat at times in my review. I just could not stop myself from few sarcastic remarks here and there, since I was extremely frustrated.
While the drama was airing and I was at times checking the comments on TharnType page, it amazed me how many people hated Type and literally wanted to murder the, but were all over how amazing and sweet Tharn was, when I had 100% opposite views. Tharn was a creep and I got chills (not the good ones) every time he got close to Type, while Type was a victim that had ASAP psychological and psychiatric help.
The most amazing part if, when people complained about my review saying I took the drama too serious. Well, I'm sorry but it was author, not me who introduced all the serious topic like gang rape, sexual harassment and assault on a minor and emotional manipulation 1st.

okay wow, not everyone who disliked TharnType is a hater. Many people who rated it low watched the whole show and simply did not like it. Calling them haters is a bit childish.

This drama could have been a lot more interesting if dong shik legitimately became a psychopath/killer and had…
You don't get DID from hitting your head and there was no indication of him having any mental problems before the car accident (except from depression but you don't get DID from that too). They would have to change Dong Sik character and his set up completely for it to work out and this would made the drama 100% a different drama with different plot, not only a shift in genre.
