Title Devilish Joy Spoiler
It kdramaland you never know.....miracles happen just a robot and girl fell in love in our last fave drama....so…
true but there is also no fantasy nor sci-fi attached to it hahaha while in a robot romance we had sci-fi hahaha They could have just not speak of any atrophy of the brain in last ep and I would not have any problem, but since they brought it, they need to explain. The miracles are usually the type of 'the surgery that has at most 5% chances of success' and not curing someone of literally incurable disease. They are really reaching with this one hahaha
But yeah, it's kdrama, I don't really watch it for it's logic.

I'm worried that this will have a sad ending given that MS might actually have dementia. His memory is deteriorating…
I am not sure it's dementia tho. majority of dementia types are really slow process with no major jumps in symptoms. He was getting better (remembering some stuff from the past and meetings with Gi Beum) but now in 7th ep he after the headache does not remember even things from the same day. I guess it might be vascular dementia since his symptoms are all over the place, and that's the only one fitting his criteria but still it's kind of weird. It might be caused coz of injury (aka his car accident) but the weird pattern of his symptoms progressing... I am not sure it makes much sense.

If it's really atrophy of neurons in his brain then it's kind of done deal and he won't get better. At most they may slow down or stop the process, but with them claiming it's atrophy he should not be able to regain 'what he already lost'. I'm not even sure if progressing atrophy can occur with someone who just had an accident unless they were not treated properly , but even then I am not sure this is truly possible. The car accident is a one time event that may damage your brain and IF there is a swelling or cerebral haemorrhage I guess the consequences can be longer term... but with him being so young and overall healthy I am not sure if he could be still getting worse if he was treated properly in the 1st place... that said I study neuropsychology and I'm not a medical student so I might be wrong, since my medical knowledge is limited. Unless they give us some good explanation later on, I am not sure this drama can have happy ending.

Drama is strange, the mood of the whole is undefined: sometimes it is a weird humor, sometimes an idyll in the…
this is exactly the problem I have with this drama: there is no continuality in the mood. Even the main couple: their beginning was all melodrama, but now it's all mostly based on comedy. But overall tone is really all over the place .

After 3rd ep, it looks like Lee Da Il might be dead after all. Since now we know souls of people in coma can't be separated from the body 24/7, and have to come back to the body at times, but we did not see this happening with Lee Da Il at all...
And I slowly don't mind him being dead tbh. We see that he might be able to stop Woo Hye but it takes a toll on him. The drama might end up with him sacrificing himself to destroy her completely.,

I'm not sure we're supposed to feel any romance or chemistry between the two yet... they were just forced into…
I am not talking only about romantic chemistry tbh, just on screen chemistry between actors. The cast of Age Of Youth (the 5 main girls) had amazing on screen chemistry, it was not romantic tho.

The leads haven't had many interactions yet. Looking at ep 5's previews, we'll get much more!
I say they had no less interaction than it happens in other romance dramas. I am just not feeling it. But as I said, I will keep watching up till ep 6 whenever I like ot or nah. Then I will decide
On 100 Days My Prince Sep 18, 2018
I will keep watching up till 6 ep, but if it won;t pick up by then, I will have to drop. I keep thinking this drama is hugely miscasted. They should either made the characters younger or cast older actors (or older looking, since Kyungsoo is quite the age, he just not look like it). I don;t feel any chemistry between the leads too, which pains me since this drama is romance driven. And the biggest problem is, I don't really like any characters. I guess I am a bit interested in Jung Jae Yoon and what is his deal, but except from that... not feeling it.

She will definitely be in season 3 and even if she loses her ability it won;t be for a full drama and she will…
They literally cannot get rid of her nor her hearing ability coz the premise of the show is literally her hearing ability. Unless they will introduce new main character who has miraculously the same ability as her.
If they get rid of her it would be like getting rid of Harry Potter from Harry Potter series or getting rid of magic from it lol

I was really really disappointed with the last ep... this is just my opinion ^^1. shouldn't she have told a more…
2. one kind of pissed me off too. recording has TOTALLY different sound than a real voice. Normal people will a lot of experience with recordings would be able to tell them apart, so someone with such a super hearing not being able to hear the difference is stupid.
5. This one in real life make sadly sense. In places with high security like police station, the clearing and checking is done 'in the front desk' and once you are in, no one pays that much attention, since they assume you are suppose to be there for some reason. Also I'm pretty sure not everyone in the station knew he was the culprit and people who knew also must have knows he got arrested so they had no reason to even think the guy they just passed in the hall was THE dude. And he had help from inside... that had a huge impact on him escaping.

1- If she's alive next season, she's going to be deaf.2- She' deaf or have damaged hearing, she's going to became…
She will definitely be in season 3 and even if she loses her ability it won;t be for a full drama and she will gain it back. I mean her hearing ability is literally the reason drama is called Voice so lol If they will try to 'get rid of her' somehow, people will be furious and the ratings will definitely drop.
People say we should not compare season 1 and 2, but why not? Those are seasons of the same show. For me, this season was not as good as 1st one. The biggest mistake was revealing who the killer is so quickly, since figuring him out was one of the most entertaining parts of the 1st season and what made it stand out more from other crime shows.... Also I am disappointed how little there was of Kwon Joo's hearing ability use...
Also this cliffhanger is not much of a cliffhanger. She literally in the worst case scenario will lose her awesome hearing for few eps and gain it back, since it is the main point of her as a character and literally the reason the show is names 'Voice'.
Still, it was a solid drama. If it was a stand alone I would probably rate it higher tho.

I''m rewatching it right now and not only Kwon Soo Ah is a villain but also a pretty stupid one. That's why she annoyed me so much.

Sure. I must say you kind of changed my point iof view about FLs. I prefer warm hearted characters over cold and…
I didn't want to sound aggressive or anything like that. There are situations when those perfect characters are necessary and there is a place for them in dramas. Usually when we talk about plot driven dramas, over character driven ones. If you start from someone being that good, there is not much you can do with them as drama progresses. There is no place for character development since they are already amazing. That said, even the character of Hye Sung from I Can Hear Your Voice that was used in the image you posted was smart and confident but also for good half of the drama cowardly, lazy and not engaged. As the drama progressed we saw the development of her character :)

You know it was because he wanted to hold her hand, right? LOL
I know, that's why I let it slide and it did not bother me that much. But it just reminded me of all the scenes where female leads have a scratch on their knee or something and main leads go full 'omg can you walk? should be go to the hospital'? . I mean, he wanted to hold her hand, but up till now she is trying to distance herself from him, so why she put up with it and didn't just say: I'm fine hahaha
kkdrama Sep 14, 2018
I agree on everything EXCEPT from the last one. And I have to say I strongly disagree on that one. Coz, what I see you want Mary Sue . You want a perfect female lead that is as unrealistic as one can be. Especially since some of the traits you named often clash in real life especially in some unrealistic settings presented in dramas.:You save a child risking life on many others then you are kind and caring coz at that moment the kid is the most important. You decide to risk the life of the kid to safe the others, you are using your brain and not your heart to make decisions. There are quite a few of similar scenarios in dramas.
There is nothing wrong with not so smart but kind characters, or smart but uncaring ones. Confident and independent but emotionally closed. That's what makes them realistic and allows people to connect and see themselves. There is nothing wrong with having flaws and it's unrealistic to not have any. The same goes with male leads. There is literally no drama out there with a perfect man in it.

I read so many comments about this being really scary and since it's the season leading up to Halloween, I thought…
The censorship is quite prominent in Korean movie/drama industry but it's coz of the strict laws. No one is going to risk it by having their drama canceled and getting some fines. I'd rather have it without censor too tho. It kills the mood a bit.

She even said 10 years has passed since the incident.. So was she 18 at that moment
After the time jump they do write '16년 후' so yeah 16 years later. But later Hong Shim says it was over 10 years ago. Sure OVER can be taken literally since 16 is more than 10. But wouldn't it make more sense to say 'it was over 15 years ago'. or literally said 'it was 16 years ago'? You usually say 'over 10 years ago' when it's like max 12 years... Also I literally went to convert the hours Deuk said he spent in palace (69,329) and it's 8 years lol
16 years old ago and her being 12 makes sense in terms of time line. I feel like the time stamps are just a bit awkwardly placed. And still Ji Hyun looks too young in my opinion.
