he looks "old" next to her coz he is a lot older than her. I mean 12 years is a huge gap. He looks his age tho. I rather say it's Yoo Jung who looks really young. They are both amazing separately but I do not feel the chemistry between them too. I'd say it was casting mistake.

The thing that annoyed me, is that they strongly hinted they are siblings since the day one of the drama (even before the whole fabrication plot point) just to disregard it at the end. They were showing images and scenes hinting it before we were truly even introduced to Se Ran's character and her plan. You can't have a cake and it eat too. For me it looked like they had planned different ending but decided to changed it half way through drama.
I have not seen the jap. version but I kind of figure it out that they are related quite early (few eps in) and I found it fascinating to see their tragic love story. But at the end it was stupid misunderstanding, all the deaths at the end were meaningless and could have been easily avoided. The fact that Moo Young just believed everything Se Ran said knowing very well that she is an evil bitch that is willing to do anything? He was suppose to be rather smart character. Also at that time he was on speaking terms with Jin Gook, they talked about the past once, they could have talk about it again. Majority of things that happened at the end were quite out of characters and messy.

Those two eps were mess. There was way too much exposition and that's now how you tell the story. Why did they so clearly show who is the bad guy and who is a good guy here? There was too much going on. That said, it might get so much better later on, so I will keep watching. Also I LOVE the cast.
Also Yura reminds me of Sharon from Black Knight so much.

The production was amazing but the story was so meh. Especially since they did not end up being siblings... what even. Without it this drama isn't exactly anything special in terms of plot....

I loved this drama but I really disliked the ending. I get that they are hinting 2nd season and it make sense to leave some plot points open to come back to them in next season, but there was no closure at all in it...

In most places I was visiting people do stare a lot when someone looks different but mosty if it's by their choice (for example they dress 'funny' or have 'funny' hair). Usually with a physical disability (mental one is a whole different story) people just ignore it...

the scene when he is on a wheelchair and EVERYONE looks at him weirdly and comments and shit. This does not happen in real life never. Sure there will always be some assholes who react in a weird way but the truth is, majority of people just does not care. They could have made this scene amazing. Show it in two perspectives: filmed from behind Soo Yeon and we see people talking about him and commenting and being 'concern' and then wide shot and no one really caring. It would show how insecure he is about his disability in a more interesting way.

I don't care what is canon and what other people say, I see the romance between Hwa Pyung and Yoon. There was a huge difference in dynamics and chemistry between the dudes and Kil Yeong and them with each other. Even she brought up that they should get along with each other and how Hwa Pyung has Yoon so why is he calling her. Those were just a small moments but put together give a bigger picture of their relationship and feelings. The whole scene at the end underwater was amazing. They were both ready to die for each other. Not to mention ocn ships them too, seeing how they uploaded a short mv dedicated to their 'bromance'.
Anyway, the drama is 10-/10. The - is given just because I was hoping for some hugs between the trio at the end...
ALSO I WILL KILL FOR 2ND SEASON.

Well now I am screwed, coz YouTube Premium is not available in Poland... I saw the 1st 3 eps and now I can't watch the rest... what is life? I already love this drama...

I was like that too... and since I had the theory about where it's going I ask someone who seen the jap. ver to tell me if I am right and (sadly) I was. I needed to know coz it was one of my plot pet peeves . Now that I know it I just spoil ,myself with everything and open all spoiler comments. BUT if you know nothing about the future episodes and have no predication you would want to confirmed I'd say stay away from hidden comments coz majority of them have spoilers in.

For now I think they are going with him knowing she is his sister (the way he reacts to her talking about her brother and her growing up with some hardships, but she might not know and fall for him. They won't go anywhere romantically speaking (since he knows) but emotionally it will still be tragic coz she will be hurt in the process since she is being kept in the dark.

I just hate how they made is quite obvious they are siblings but Moo Young keeps saying shit like '나랑 사귀자' and 'our date seems too short'... it's a bit reaching and honestly makes me uncomfortable. I'm pretty chill about majority of taboo topics but incest is something I just can't handle...

and now I might drop the drama tbh. Coz if it was just this huge plot twist I might love it (if I didn't know about it) but since now I know I will just feel REALLY awkward watching it. The writing is so vague about whenever the chemistry between Moo Young and Jin Kang is romantic or siblings one it might be much to handle...

Everyone talks about this huge plot twist from jap. ver at the end. Please just tell me it's not Jin Kang and Moo Young being siblings or some shit like that and that Jin Gook killed their father and out of guilt took Moo Young as his sister and Jin Kang ended up in orphanage. Just someone who saw jap. ver tell me it's not true and don't give any other spoilers so I can watch it with peace lol

I like Ahn Hyo Seop but I was not too excited about him getting a lead role (since his acting is not exactly always the best. he was amazing in 30 but 17, but not too good in My Father is Strange). And if he lacks in acting in any area it would be obvious next to Yoo Jung who is literally an acting veteran at this point. so for me Gyun Sang is a safer choice.

For My ID is Gangnam Beauty casting older actress than the age of her character had a point plot wise if you read webtoon (in drama it was not so clear, maybe they deleted some scenes). Mirae was always being describes as looking older and more mature (partially coz of her surgeries and her body type) than Soo Ah. It was suppose to be like one of them looking like a woman and the other like an innocent girl.

That's probably true but it should be written as sci-fi then lol Coz it's medically unrealistic. Also him stopping car like that is unreal even with some high tech bionic arm, since to stop it you would have to use other muscles in your body that are not as strong as his arm... I think they might have overdo it... Also he did bleed from the arm so he can't be amputee... For now there ins't any reasonable explanation to what is going on hahaha

I mean, sure lying is definitely going on. He is getting better so we CANNOT talk about any atrophy going on. But honestly his WHOLE amnesia doesn't make sense. He should be waking up everyday thinking it's the day right after the accident (or the day he woke up from the accident). Just reading from his journals what happened day before would not be enough for him to live a life he is living right now lol
