I'm renaming the show to: Heesu In the Background Of Class 2.

Biggest issue? Straight couple. To quote myself: I would not even be that mad if they were not just so painfully boring both as a couple and as individual characters. But to take away from the gay couple, to focus on this mediocrity is just a crime.

Heesu and Seung won were amazing - just go and watch compilations of their scenes on youtube, no need to watch the whole show 🤡

By all means Ju Chan Yeong and Choi Ji Yu are getting main leads treatment.

Basically they get both their romance AND their individual stories (tennis and music) - a typical case for leads in dramas.
And then Lee Hui Su get's second male lead treatment with all of his story surrounding romance: being in love with the main lead and then falling in love with the second male lead.

Glad it seems like it was worth the long read 🥰

Episode 8? Cute as fuck.
All that should have happened 2 episodes ago if you ask me.
Episodes 7-8 should be both focused on Hui Su having this adorable growing crush on Seung Won and Seung Won slowly noticing how Hui Su pays more attention to him and less to Chan Yeong.

Then episode 9-10 being the confession and "aftermath".

why he let him do that < this might be specifically about the hickeys. Also he said he looks cute asleep, i mean this does not necessarily means drugged or drunk. People often sleep in the same bed after sex 😅 I think if Akin said he does not know what happened and he does not remember, the conversation would be different. But he kept saying nothing happened, even when the hickeys were shown and they both no something did happen.

yeah I'm still having fun, just not as much as I expected taking into consideration the cast and the plot that seems just my type 🥲

i honestly got so confused seeing all the comments deciding who was wrong Jin or Akin, when the only wrong person was Johnny. Wild how little his name is mentioned in the comment section when discussing what happened.

Jin should not be blamed for his reaction, since he knows nothing and Akin did not even try to make him understand, BUT "know how he gets when he is drunk" is not a good statement, since he was beyond drunk, he was more or less unconscious and passed out, he remembers nothing. Which means this was clear case of rape and it had nothing to do with him drinking or not.

okay yes. The light tone of the show while also trying to tell more eerie and dark tales of demons might be the reason i somehow feel disconnected. I kind of wish the show was a bit more... serious and dark? or just full on fairytale. But it kind of feels tamed in all areas so nothing really stands out...

I am so annoyed at myself, because for some strange reason I am not connecting to the drama that much.
Even though it has so many elements I love and adore 😭

It might have been the binge watch of 6 episodes when I missed a few being sick, but I'm just here, enjoying it, but not loving it. But it has so many moments that usually would give me massive "feels".

I like the individual cases (the last one was GREAT, and the actress playing Wu Niang was AMAZING in the role), but they are always weirdly connected. The connections make sense, and I understand the transitions, but still the presentation is just... off.

Ren Jia Lun and Song Zu Er have great chemistry, and while I understand the progression of Xuan Ye's feelings and the "why" they change, I do not think it's as clear and obvious with Ban Xia - I kind of get it, but I don't feel it.

Love them both as individual characters. I love how he is not a cold male lead, but is actually really good and caring. I love how she is feminine and so fucking normal it's refreshing. How we can slowly see her become more courageous and confident without completely changing her personality.

So why am I not vibing with it to the extend I expected? 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I often check support forum to know if there are any questions and issues I can help with, and I see a lot more posts about harassment, bullying etc. created by users. I guess this is the response to it. + ther shitstorm under Kim Soo-hyun's profile page was a big contributor to it 🤡

same... they got me with episode 5, but then brought me back to reality and low expectation with 6. Now I have none for episode 7 🤣

I think if I wad watching it when it was airing and everyone was hyping it, my disappointment would be bigger 😅

This was my thought too. I kind of wish this will actually part of the story, but knowing dramas , this is her "flaw" she will overcome, not just her being on the spectrum.
