I thought I had him figured out, and yet the outpsychod himself for me.
I was sure he was driven by control and that led to his obsession over Da On. As in, control was the most important thing for him.
But nah, this dude was actually obsessed first, and that led to his controlling bullshit π€£ I truly still cannot believe he rejected Da On coz he did not believe Da On loved him and him only π€‘ As if he had this perfect picture of him and Da On together, and if it felt anything but that, he would not accept it and keep playing games until he gets there. WILD π€£
From the beginning he was a coward and it showed in all aspects of his life.
He did not confess to Da On out of fear to rejection.
He did not confront Jae Min out of fear of losing Da On as the aftermath.
He never crossed the line in public (too much) out of fear of public perception (mostly coz of his fear of his father and what he might do if he fucks up).
He stepped back when Jae Min was attacking Da On in the last episode out of fear for his life.
He was constantly held back by his fear. Even his anger was the result of his fears - fear of losing Da On.
Honestly... how pathetic π€‘ I guess in his case the shock therapy actually worked. With how psycho Jae Min went, he was forced to confront his fears - especially that police station scene (which was btw SO FUCKING GOOD I CANNOT!). And then he made the choice to, to some extent, confront his own biggest fear and apologize to Da On about everything he did, knowing well this will be the end of anything between them without possibility of turning back.
I didn;t really want his redemption, but I'm not mad about this first step he made. I think it was actually not bad place to end his story at,.
I'm for your out local psycho Jae Min with how obsessed over this show I was.

Rewatched alone like 4 times.
Rewatched with a friend seeing her getting crazy over it and being happy about it.
Literally living on this comment section stalking every new comment.
I for sure evoke my inner Jae Min while watching π€‘
Messed up and will mess up your head with a hundred thoughts. < LITERALLY! π―π₯
Agreed to all tho. The structure of the story was honestly π₯π₯
The thing. That shocked me the most was when he explained why he rejected Da On. I thought it was mostly because he wanted to be in control. But in fact he did not believe Da On truly loved him and him only. Wild π
