no, she was buying them, just not HER light. She was just buying light for her mom, not with the intent of finding HER light. There literally is a scene of her smashing all the light bulbs she bought for her mom, she did get it every time but once (when the shopkeeper told her to leave).

When they find out they need to find their own light, the start to regain the memories of the accident, understand they were in accident. That's when you in the first place can start wanting to live, because you know you are in coma, that there is a choice in the first place.

again, he wanted to be out of the loop,. not to live. He first need to know he is in coma, to want to live,. He did not. He was just stuck and scared and he wanted out. Technically dying is also out of the loop, coz then you live in the afterlife.

YES, they are result of his head injury from his accident. Like he is losing control over his eyes, His head is also severely wounded and looks as it it was cut from the top. It's the same thing as the broken leg on the boy, or how the lady grew bigger. these are the "weird things" that happened with people are are not dead but in coma.

His eyes in the shop were all messy because of the accident - basically he had a head injury that potentially also affected his eyeballs. But the "cat like eyes" only happened after he accepted the glasses.

Noodle shop owner had the cat eyes because he was the ghost hunter (as a call them) in living world before he died.

Hyunmin didn't remember his gf because she committed suicide, everyone who commits suicide will inevitable go to hell < I don't think its about hell. There is one afterlife in this story. It's more about if you kill yourself you are willingly cutting ties with the world you know, hence in the afterlife these links don't exist either, that's why he did not remember her.

delirium is basically just the memories of the afterlife. most people get treated, some don't want to. He did not. Because he wanted to find the noodle shop owner and if he got treated he would basically in time forget about all that happened to him.

You get the eyes if you accept the job - that's why light shop keeper has the eye (he guides souls in the afterlife) and the detective has the eyes (he guides souls in the living world). The girl and the nurse just see ghosts because they are still linked to afterlife with their memories of the events.

His eyes were never yellow before he woke up. He only got the yellow eyes after accepting the job and getting the glasses from the noodle shop owner. The eyes is not what makes you see the ghost, it what makes you be able to stop and to some extend control them.

They didn't explain why the lady was growing so tall. Anyone understood what was happening to her? I have my assumptions…
She was growing "bigger" to show how she tried to extend herself through her seat to protect her partner - it's showed rather clearly in the slow motion of the accident. How she is trying her best to lean over the seats to grab the other girl.

He did not want to live, he wanted to get out of the place he was stuck in. That's not the same. They first need to accept their situation to be able to gain back their memories and look for the light shop KNOWING they are actually looking for their light. That's why the teenage girl even thought she was in the light shop many times, and even picked up light bulbs, did not move on until the end when she was basically forced by her mother. Because she did not know she has to look for her own light, she did not she was in an accident, all she did was bringing back light to her mother, which was not her own.

I highly doubt anyone would just stop the service in his place. We don't think accidents will happen to us. Our brains literally protect us from thinking it's something that can happen to us. We technically know it's possible, but we think it won't happen. And when you know there is a high chance of you losing your job when you ho against what company told you to do, and the accident which you don't even think will happen since it's just one last ride and you'll out the bus to repair shop right after it... Just taking that last ride is a choice 99.999999% of people would make.

the thing is... I don't even think he is to be blamed, but the company. He told them there is a problem with the car and they basically told him they don't care and he can pay himself to repair it. In current economy the idea of losing job is more scary than accident or death. Also, no one assumes something bad will happen - it's something we refuse to even consider. In most cases we are lucky our reckless decisions don't end up as accidents. He was just unlucky.

I think because maybe they were not accepting that they are dead they became normal after they accepted it
Yep, this is also how I understood it. Only when you actually enter the afterlife after accepting your death, you become the part of the afterlife.

Why does the drama say that the dead souls have 3 days to sort everything out but they live in that place even…
The have 3 days when they are in the space kind of between death and living. That's the time when living people can see them in living world (if they have the ability to see dead people) and when they can see and communicate with comatose patients in the afterlife. When they die and 3 days passes and the funeral is hold, they will move on to afterlife - they stop being able to interact with living or comatose patients.

i think the pending case was more about the ghost and then the detective taking over the "ghost detective" role. He was the one to find the ghost of the girl and get it to move to after life (hence then he took her photo from his desk and moved it to close case drawer. The sequence with the teen ghost also was there to kind fo explain why ghost would travel to world of living and what happens next. At least that's how I understood it.

All right, but what about Hyun Ju's ending? Am I the only one who felt like that ending felt deliberately open…
not sure if it's supposed to lead anywhere but I agree it "lack closure", but it felt deliberate. What I wrote about it earlier:

"Then we have Ju Hyun Ju - what seems like a good resolution, weirdly feels incomplete, without the closure for the teen. Being separated from her mother, when she desperately wanted to stay in the afterlife with her makes me question if she even can live a normal life. Not getting treated for delirium she lives in a constant state of confusion - what is real, what is not. She is in a daze, not being able to connect with the people around her, she refuses to connect. She lives in her past memories that block her from moving on. I sadly struggle to see how she can reach the point of living a normal life."

IF she is able to get better she might lead a similar life to Kwon Yeong Ji tho. Using her new ability to help ghosts...

The couple with the girl that is mute and killed herself, how did she come back at the end?
She showcased true honesty, loyalty, and love towards the man by wanting him to stay alive. < but she wanted something in return. She got disappointed, sad and resentful when she did not. Now would she guide him to light shop is she knew he would not remember her after waking up? Personally, I do not think she would. I also think him dying would actually be better for both of them. From how the story was told and structured, I do think they both were destined to die, but her will forced him to stay alive and the result of that is tragic in all ends. I feel bad for all the characters presented. They had to deal with such a tragedy, no matter what I say right now, I cannot even be sure what choices I would make - coz you never know unless you are in the situation yourself.

Her keeping him alive made me think about the family members who disagree with euthanasia, even if the person dying wants it. Their love for the person and their will for them to be alive longer is stronger than said person actual feelings and consequences of keeping them alive. Also... not everyone can move on. She did not. Many people did not, that's why they became ghost in the world of living, and that's why the detective basically has to force them to move on...

Anyway, for a short drama like that, it had so much depth I am honestly in love.

kfans are saying hyunmin was pretending to remember jiyoung in the afterlife because he doesnt even look shocked…
i'm fairly sure he had amnesia caused by brain injury.
Do I feel bad for her? Yes. Do I also think she is a bit selfish? Yes. If she kept him alive just coz she loved him, just because she wanted him to stay alive, she would not be said he does not remember her. Honestly, if I knew the memory of me would cause a person I love so much hurt when they are already in pain, I would be glad they don't remember me.

Also, he had no will to leave honestly. She literally forced him to survive...I find their situation the least clear cut and easy to digest. Honestly tragic in all ends.

The detective why does he end up with the same eyes as the guy working in the light shop, what is he doing? Like…
He basically took the role of the guardian keeping the world of living safe from ghost. He kind of became ghost hunter to either help or force them to move on to afterlife. The same way the father took over the role of the lady in the light shop, he took over the job from the guy who saved his life - he died saving the detective so now someone else has to take over his responsibilities. Since the Detective can see ghost after experiencing near death experience, and has the skill as a detective and is really perceptive, he fits the job a lot. It also gives him purpose in a life that seemed lacking any,

The couple with the girl that is mute and killed herself, how did she come back at the end?
She did no accept her death and did not move on to afterlife. From what I understand, if you don't move on, you come back to world of living as a ghost. I'll copy what I wrote in my review if you don't mine:

"Lee Ji Yeong at the end became a vengeful ghost. The sadness of being forgotten by the man she loved, by the man that she died for was too much to handle. When I watched where her and Kim Hyun Min ended, I kept thinking: maybe her determination to keep him alive was just a selfish act. Maybe he should have died. Maybe them staying together in the afterlife would be their happy ending. Now all that’s left is pain and regret."
