The villains were honestly too weak for a drama that has thriller as one of the top genres. They all randomly got caught by laterally plot devices that were not well set up 😂

Honestly, I saw Do Jae working with Sa Eon again at the end and went: yp, this deserves additional 0.5 to the rating 😂

Honestly. They had too little screen time, I need more 😭

make your head spin from all the theories about who, is who, why and what will happen next. < I mean yeah. I read so many wild theories 😂 Kind of sad some did not come true 😅

I rant quite a bit, but I honestly for most of it had a fun time. It is for sure a drama that's good for a group watch - many theories to make, scenes to fan over, jokes to make etc :)

Now I need a spin off of Yu Ri and Sang U, like yesterday. I need them. I love them. They were so adorable.
Initially in love with Sa Eon's hands, ended up devoted to Ji Sang U 😍

This drama was an interesting experience.
It honestly felt like watching 3 different shows:
🔥wattpad-esk romance
🤡family makjang
🔎crime mystery.

I did not really hate any of then, but they just did not create a coherent story.

Characters wise Hui Ju... existed. Sa Eon had like DID coz his personality flipped from 🔥 to 😭 to 🥰 ever few scenes, the villains were generic as fuck, but the supporting cast was great. I already said I loved Yu Ri and Sang U, but I also want to mention baby boi best boi Do Jae and badass well dressed bish In A.

yeah... also the fact his behavior lasted 10 years... and probably more to come. Truly unwilling to change himself... And I understand that he was limited by his external circumstances, but honestly in his case he was far more limited by his own way of thinking.

He was a character that I feel bad for, but I also felt too exhausted by his action to actually root for him to improve by the end of the show...

My biggest issue was the fact he actually reflected on his actions almost every time he made a mistake, but then still made the same mistakes over and over again. Like, at least if he would not see where shit went wrong, I would be like - you dumb, that's why. But he was not dumb...

It's hard to enjoy when every character truly sucks more or less, and the few good ones do not stick around. It is still a good show, but there was something... missing?

On the other hand, mamy boi cute secretary got +10 cute points after they confirmed there is just a bit of psycho in him since he was the "mastermind" that real Park son was messaging.

What's more? I need me a fun spin off investigation drama for Sang U and Yu Ri as leads. Make it deliciously slow burn and pinning - him liking her, but thinking she likes Sa Eon, and her liking him, but thinking he has no feelings for her. Get them into some semi-dangerous situation during the investigations for the crime show so we have some fun angst and them being worried about each other. Get her to be the sunshine of his life making him open up and share his traumas from childhood. I WANT THAT! Make it fun and short - 10 episode each exactly hour long (no 1 hours and 15 minutes bullshit).

I struggle to be sad about The Glory coz that's completely not the type of a show I usually enjoy 🤡

yeah i love the ending shot. he had to do his job, but he also forgave Kan. Extremely fitting.

About the investigation... I think it would be better if no one believed there is a serial killing going on, and it was just Wasan doing an off duty solo investigation. A lot of things can bothered me could be explained by his lack of resources and his biased perspective as the son of one of the victims.

Anyway, great review! Completely agree on the acting. Honestly, each new drama from Tor makes me like him more and more 😭

can we even call it investigation? it was that bad lol
literally his eyebrow was so distracting lol but yes, the acting in the last episode was 🔥 I knew Tor is great, but he did even better than I expected.
