I could not give less fuck about romance myself, yet I am still enjoying it. There is not one drama where there was nothing I disliked or had issues with. This is no different. I dislike how the sidelined his relationship with his daughter, but I also like a lot of different thing. Dramas are made of different plots and storylines for all the characters and it's never 1:0 type of a deal - you either like everything or disliking one thing makes you hate the whole show (some exceptions happen, for sure. Everyone had this one or two pet peeves they cannot get over).

At the end of the day this is not a family drama, was not promoted as family drama, so if someone had expectations it will be family focused drama... it;s on them.

I do hope they will somehow address how he spends so much time at work tbh. Him being a single father was one of the aspect I was curious about and wanted to see more, but now they do not really show much of him being a father...

okay... it's not THAT serious. Inconsistency in writing, sure. But it's not like it ruins the whole show.

I mean, there are valid situations like when a person abuses another person and then said person commits suicide, or when someone tries to convince another person to kill themselves. Sure, then blame the fuck out of them.

But here is was completely ridiculous and not valid.

the bookstore he was off coz FL was also off work and he is HER assistant afterall. If she is not working, he is not working.

they need to either show more of his time during the day with his kid, or less of him staying overtime at work. Otherwise, they make it seem like he is neglecting her again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that's why writers and directors need to be careful how the structure their stories and what they show and focus on.

I like how the handled the chef story. At the end of the day I feel like they are trying to show at least to some extend a realistic side of it. I like when the drama is more bitter sweet tbh 😅

I mean... from every work day they showed, he was staying late, after everyone left the office so 😅

Why it bothers me is the fact it was used to show his empathic side and basically how "perfect" he is both work and private life related, and now that the set up is done the child is kind of abandoned to be taken care of by a neighbor 🤡

Let's start with the death of the CEO of the company FL worked in. The only person responsible for his death is his own ass, I am not sorry for saying that. You have the privileges CEO has, you also need to take responsibilities when shit goes bad. He did not. Unless he was murdered or something, but I highly doubt. Anyway, FL whistleblowing about the fucking CRIME being committed did nothing wrong.

Quick to set up second couple lol I'm actually all in for that. I think with how different their personalities are, they will be a good match. Also Jeong Hun obviously likes kids so yeah.

At the same time, the bromance scene 😂😂😂😂😂

Visually speaking, I love how they frame the shots - be it with the blurred objects on the foreground, or the reflections when the shots are made through the glass. I'm really vibing with the office aesthetics tbh.

Sometimes having this person who is morally more righteous for stories makes sense to make it more balance, but it was so not fucking needed here...

I remember quite a few dramas that just had these female cops with no true purpose. Bad Guys is a good example 😅 Like you can see how they clearly put less effort writing these characters and it's kind of sad.

Honestly Cheol was the good guy 😭 His whole story is just too tragic.

I was almost convinced to watch it, but I hare the self-righteous characters that think they are more holy than Jesus and are against fucking up bad guys and act as if it's worse than whatever the bad guys did 😂

I'm honestly confused why am I still watching it, but few reasons that seem bullshit, but whatever. This drama is such a perfect watch for someone who just got into costume k-dramas, but for anyone who saw quite a few, it has little to nothing new. Anyway, why I still enjoy it:

1. Seol Mae Hwa is a great character and I'm so fucking curious about her backstory and connection to ML and the truth behind the past events.
2. Kim Myeong Ho is such a fucking dumb annoying bitch I kind of love him and his low-level zero skill no brain shenanigans. Cannot wait for episode 6 and him trying in a pathetic way expose FL 😂
3. Chun Jun Hwa is 🔥
4. The little tests they are doing and the team work is actually kind of cute. Really like the whole side test story from Do Gyeong.
