"Then we have Ju Hyun Ju - what seems like a good resolution, weirdly feels incomplete, without the closure for the teen. Being separated from her mother, when she desperately wanted to stay in the afterlife with her makes me question if she even can live a normal life. Not getting treated for delirium she lives in a constant state of confusion - what is real, what is not. She is in a daze, not being able to connect with the people around her, she refuses to connect. She lives in her past memories that block her from moving on. I sadly struggle to see how she can reach the point of living a normal life."
IF she is able to get better she might lead a similar life to Kwon Yeong Ji tho. Using her new ability to help ghosts...
Her keeping him alive made me think about the family members who disagree with euthanasia, even if the person dying wants it. Their love for the person and their will for them to be alive longer is stronger than said person actual feelings and consequences of keeping them alive. Also... not everyone can move on. She did not. Many people did not, that's why they became ghost in the world of living, and that's why the detective basically has to force them to move on...
Anyway, for a short drama like that, it had so much depth I am honestly in love.
Do I feel bad for her? Yes. Do I also think she is a bit selfish? Yes. If she kept him alive just coz she loved him, just because she wanted him to stay alive, she would not be said he does not remember her. Honestly, if I knew the memory of me would cause a person I love so much hurt when they are already in pain, I would be glad they don't remember me.
Also, he had no will to leave honestly. She literally forced him to survive...I find their situation the least clear cut and easy to digest. Honestly tragic in all ends.
"Lee Ji Yeong at the end became a vengeful ghost. The sadness of being forgotten by the man she loved, by the man that she died for was too much to handle. When I watched where her and Kim Hyun Min ended, I kept thinking: maybe her determination to keep him alive was just a selfish act. Maybe he should have died. Maybe them staying together in the afterlife would be their happy ending. Now all thatβs left is pain and regret."
For me even vaguely talking about the presented themes would be a spoiler that tells you too much about what you are about to experience.

Just go and watch it. It's a 10/10 for me and I'm so glad I knew nothing but the poster and the cast before I picked it up. It's a story that it;'s best to discover and explore yourself, without anyone telling you what it is, how it goes, what to expect and how to prepare.
It is eerie and creepy at times, but it is not a full on horror. It's not just a supernatural flick that's fun to watch during late evening or night. It's a journey, emotional and touching. It's great guys, just watch it π
But if you saw it and want to read some more in depth take about the story, i did write criminally long review π: https://kisskh.at/profile/theKate/reviews/412298
Honestly, the way everything just click right and connected so well by the end - masterfully crafted story π₯
SKFJGHJSD WAIT THE FIGHTER IS GAY???? Well, that's one way to avoid love triangles. Also, fun how the performer artist is straight and strict fighter is gay. I approve how not stereotypical it is.
Why is Storyteller hurting himself so much, why did he come to the wedding lol also, the fuck is he going to think seeing her marry a dude that looks EXACTLY like him lol Knowing him, he will go full delulu assuming she married Fighter coz she cannot forget him π
Damn... but Fighter and Lady Ok are such a good partners π This whole "knowing each other secrets" and "fighting together for common people" and being this awesome power couple π
WAIT HE IS LITERALLY A LEADER OF A GROUP THAT RESCUES KIDS THAT ARE LGBT AND GIVES THEM HOME AND TEACHES THEM HOW TO FIGHT? OMG YES.
call her out. She seeks help but only for "her people", while ignoring struggles of others. It's fine for her to risk her life for servants, but it's not for him for trans and gay kids? Girl needs to reevaluate her morals.
"- They cannot be protected by the law because no laws were devised for them.
- That means there is no law that says they must be killed"
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES BITCH! π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯But also, this whole scene can be so fucking triggering. The whole sequence is literally everyone saying trans and gay people are no really people, calling to have them beheaded and killed etc.
Dude legit went: before i am your son, or her husband, I am the leader of gays in this town πππ
wait... is the Storyteller going to pretend to be Fighter long term? lol
I get it... we are only 4 episodes in, things CANNOT go smoothly yet, but it does not change the fact the ending of the episode made me so fucking mad π
